I remember using Humbrol oil paints in the 70s and 80s painting Scruby 11mm SYW figures. When the new acrylics entered the market, like Polly S, they seemed to overwhelm the oil paints with their ease of cleanup. After all these years, I still have those Humbrol tins...
I remember them , they were what my dad used at the time and so I started out with them also. Although I think i used them wrong as i would use a match stick to stir them instead of just shaking the pot. But I was young lol
