  • I'm a larger girl and I have started making vinegar/water wipes after using the restroom and they have really changed my life I feel so fresh and clean!

  • I use the L. Brand you can find it at Target. Pads definitely make a big difference!! I had fibroids and I would used always infinity pads with the foam but they are so toxic. I would bleed a lot more. There is a war on women’s feminine health that every woman should be aware of. I use sea salt to brush my teeth and in between I use a miswak stick. Coconut oil as lotion. Steel cut oats and honey to exfoliate. I use Dr.bronners lavender soap on my face and body. Then I rose water to tone the a vitamin c and magnesium oil I found at TJ max.

  • It's awesome to see us changing the way we eat and what we choose to put on our bodies. I made the switch to cherish pads after learning about the disgusting way always are made. And 8 months ago after watching What the Health on Netflix I went on a plant based diet and haven't looked back. Thanks for sharing @thechicnatural

    • Yes!! It's so rewarding! I'm not 100% plant based. But I cut out all meat. Almost all dairy. I'm struggling a little bit with cheese, but I'm so glad especially for women of color, that we are taking care of ourselves and learning different ways of eating! Nutrition is so important. Like you too, I've always had a passion for health and Nutrition and fitness and after seeing what the health, cowspiracy, and other documentaries, I cut out meat completely!

  • I no longer use deodorants. I started off by using lemons. After about a month of using it. I was able to go 1 week without putting anything under my arms. After 6 months, I noticed that whenever I use my raw organic peppermint soap. I no longer needed it. I have gone now, 2 months with no lemons. I also use natural pads as well and maintain a vegan lifestyle. However I'm what you would call a Plantarian type of Vegan 😅😅😂😂. I only eat fruits, vegetables and nuts. No rice, no flour. Tysmfs. It's very important that women understand the importance of taking care of themselves great video.

    • Crystal Clear wow ur lucky I found tht lemons work, however the acidity broke me out after a few days. I wish my skin wasn’t so sensitive because I would have preferred tht over deodorant.

  • Coconut oil works as deodorant. I've used it for about 3 years. I also use coconut oil, baking soda with a few drops of peppermint oil to brush my teeth. To get my teeth extra white. I use activated charcoal mixed up with coconut oil and scrub all my teeth. About once a month.

  • Thank you so much for this video! It actually validates what I have been feeling for the last two to three years. I also went on a journey to find skin care products that were more natural because my skin is so sensitive. After a lot of trial and error what I found that works for me is aloe vera gel and Shea Butter. And the summer time I switch from shea butter to coconut oil. I cannot exfoliate everyday because my skin is too sensitive but I live by shea butter and aloe vera.

  • I use a menstrual cup and handmade cotton panty liners, baking soda as a deodorant (I can skip it and not even notice!), clay for my teeth(along with floss) and for facial masks. I really need to grab those natural soaps, I don't have a specific favorite brand though I like the Neutrogena anti-acne shower gel and exfoliant. Coconut and almond oils are great as body lotions! Thanks for sharing your products! I always get something out of your videos.

  • This is why I enjoy your videos...super simple and not a lot of "over the top" products! I agree with the natural deodorants. I'm using an organic deodorant from Marshalls, but it doesn't last. I tried to make my own with bak. soda, but it started to irritate me. I have to use it sporadically...I've looked up Schmidt before, so I will have to research again. Also, if I knew then what I know now about flossing. Huge game changer for me. My husband and I make our own mouth rinse out of essential oils. No more bad breath for us! Regular bowel movements have made a drastic difference in the amt. of acne I use to get. For the "V" area, I totally agree with you! Have you ever tried just splashing the area with ACV? I learned that from a friend, but I noticed more wetness...so IDK about that one...I don't have a tub, so I cannot soak.

  • You completely saved me with the Schmidt’s rose and vanilla deodorant . The best all natural deodorant hands down.. I hated not being able to find an all natural deodorant that makes me feel girly and dainty until recently. Thanks🙌🏿

  • I tried Schmidts and it irritated my underarms because of the baking soda, it worked but my underarms got dark and it looked burn. So I got the Jasmine Tea sensitive formula and it doesn't irritate my skin, my underarms went back to its normal color. HOWEVER, it doesn't last and now I'm on the hunt for a new natural deodorant. My best friend uses this brand called Lone and I tried her deodorant one night and it worked while I was out dancing and all so I think imma try that brand. They sell the Schmidts brand at Marshalls here in Texas that's where I got mines from, had to order the sensitive formula off amazon though...too bad it didn't work for me and my mom tried it and it didn't work either she had the Lavender scent.

  • I have that lime deodorant! It is rough but it warms up with your body heat.
