found out recently that cutscene triggered alarms does not fail the elite challenge requirements 'do not get detected'.
this only applies to opening the main door via explosives or landing the velum plane without weapon stashed.
this one was without any disruption preps or cutting powder done, embarrassingly took me quite a lot more hours than imagined, due to the overpower aimbot guards firing minigun rounds at me around every corners
got properly scared in the end and went for the very lame swimming exit.
also missed a combat shotgun at 04:50 mega cringe big fail

I remember the minigun guard completely shredded my friend on this heist, but left me alone while I was cutting a painting out of a frame, hell he walked out of the building.
They used to just shred you during the fingerprint hack, thank God Rockstar made them wait

I've played the heist about 30-35 times at this point and I've used that approach about 6 or 7 times. I know the use of the weapons smuggler for the velum approach. Don't try to dictate what I know and what I don't know because I made a joke you couldn't get. Stupid

The Buzzard disruption preps are a necessity in aggressive runs.

i think the compound has 2 doors, one on the outside, one of inside, we blow the one on the outside but the inside one is still functional, it's still stupid and makes no sense tbh

finally. i was wondering how to get elite challenge on aggressive. thanks for sharing. love your speedruns :D
It depens on how you enter the island and how you enter the compound. If you choose any other aproach then what is shown here, you enter the island silent and you have to remain silent on the island before going into compound, to keep elite. Next step is entering Compound. If you choose the main gate, you will go in agressive. It doesn't if you infilrated the island stealth. This is a new chapter. If you enter the compound any other way, it will be considered stealth and you are not allowed to break it. Example: Halo Jump: Stealth Island infiltration Do not get caught before entering compound Entering compound by Main Gate. you have not chosen to be stealth in the compound but you have for the infiltration on the island. so you will get Elite. Exiting the compound and getting caught after stealth does not matter. You still get Elite.

i think rockstar broke smth in their spagetti code it was probrably meant to actvate after the cutcene or when you puch the guy in the face idk i only did cayo perrico once (failed stealth tho but we still escaped)
Dman you make this look easy and difficult at the same time, given those moments where you took quite a lot of damage, as well as just speeding around the island making sure to get everything done along the way where possible, it certainly goes to show the amount of skill, time & effort required to get a run like this done!👍👏

He is on PC, it's much different than console. Even the new ones... also aim sensitivity is high.
for those curious, though the switch to pc seems faster, it is nowhere near that fast. hes using modded sprint. he's level 2000+ as well

He has modded speed, i think it sets it to 1.2x or something like that, i had mine modded like that by some random modder without even noticing, luckily mine got reset with cayo perico update which means someone modded his character or he did it after dlc

This was in no way a fail. The fact of watching a solo make so much noise and litterally becoming the terminator all the way in and out was dope to watch. People don't understand still to this day the skill of keeping that inventory box up, keepin armor on and using your snacks wisely while aiming down sites which is the fastest way to regenerate heath takes hella skill when the NPC turns on God mode on you. I still see people get hammered on hard in prison break on 200 rank and up and got the nerve to ask me wanna do Cayo heist?! Uhh... negative. Sick video.

You can swim a lot faster in first person, in case you didn't know, at least on ps4 I mean.
Stef it’s a little more complicated then that. In an interior third person jumping is the fastest when outside first person running is the fastest on stairs first person is always faster and swimming in first person is slightly faster same as swimming underwater is slightly faster then on top.
they're using a modded account with faster movement so it doesn't really matter
