In this Minecraft tutorial, I'll show you how to build three different elevator designs that actually work! Whether you need to move vertically up and down in your base, or just want a cool way to travel between floors, these elevators will get the job done. Each design comes with step-by-step instructions and a demonstration of how it works. From a multi floor elevator to a simple water bubble elevator or even a minecart elevator, this video will got you covered!

  • For the 1st elevator, all the water must be a source block. You can do so by placing kelp on top of each other in the elevator and then breaking them

  • On Bedrock, I wanted to test the first one with a floor button (not on the wall) and for going down underground. I started with the entrance underground and with soul sand, did the water and Redstone, but found it didn't flip like I wanted. I did a quick switch and placed magma where the soul sand was and vice versa, and bingo! I now have an elevator from the surface, with a hole in the floor and a button on the floor, that takes me to my underground spawner. 👍 Much appreciated for the starting design!! ❤ Edit: I forgot that I placed a redstone torch at the top, underground on the same block as my button. I wish I was better at describing but I know it's working cause the restone torch and closest redstone are lit up. 😅

  • I'm making the multi floor elevator but my floors are higher so i need to use more observers to reach the dispensers...I have just 4 floors but it's not working properly. Is there a limit to how many observers I can stack to reach the dispensers?

    • if you wanna be simple bout it just build the left side which was exit as entrance and use elevator to go up. its an extra step but easy to implement. unless you found a better way by now.

  • Big tp: Use kelp to turn the flowing water to source blocks so it wont be a hassle getting alot of buckets.

  • Hi...from users of bedrock edition the multifloor elevator works but you need to put the observers loking at the block right the *dispensador*(i am from argentina i don't know how it says so sorry) and it works dont worry if not works at the first try ... im gonna make it in my channel of youtube so if you are of bedrock understand the multifloor elevator beter...thanks and bye❤

  • When you change the flooring on a Minecraft elevator, there's virtually not a floor option that won't work! About the only building blocks that should be avoided are redstone blocks (which may throw a monkey wrench into the circuit), concrete powder (the least you can do is just turn it into actual concrete), and anything with the word "sculk" in its name.

  • The fast (first) elevator can be divided into a descent and an ascent, and the descent will simply be a fall pipe with a slowing block of water at the end. This is faster than attraction through magma.

  • I built the first one, the bubble-vator lol, and when you first lay down some redstone at the bottom for the bottom button, as soon as you put that redstone torch in, it powers the dust thus the piston activates immediately, yours doesn't and I have rewatched it a dozen times to see what I did wrong lol. I'm on PS4 BTW.. can you help? I am playing in survival and I used a lot of time to build it, it is perfect for my build which is on a cliff..plz help?thanks!

    • In Bedrock, the redstone dust redirects into the side of the piston, which doesn't happen on Java Edition, which is what he/she is playing. Maybe use a repeater instead?

    • Don't bother trying if you're on Java Edition, it doesn't work. Only on Bedrock

  • Hi, I´m a Minecraft newbie, starting to play around with redstone, automatic doors and so on (ya all remember? xD). I´m trying to rebuild the water elevator, but it refuses to work properly, like almost all of the TNT cannons and other redstone stuff wich I try to rebuild like in the shown video. I´ve noticed most of the videos are 1 year old, and I´m playing the actual Bedrock version on PC. Was the redstone system changed? I noticed that the redstone ticks seem to be the main problem with tnt cannons, but what could be the problem here? My char does NOT float on the water, even though I rebuilded this elevator block by block exactly the same way as shown in the video? A bit further down I´ve read I have to place kelp on top of each other in the elevator, but the game won´t let me place some kelp on top of another one. And by the way: what kind of block is it on the first floor of the elvator? The one left of the magma block on the backside?
