Machine Gun Kelly talks about the outfit he wore his first time on our show in 2012, meeting a young upcoming Disney star named Zendaya while he was here, getting engaged to Megan Fox, their trip to Costa Rica where they had a life-changing experience doing ayahuasca together, his friendship with Pete Davidson, and asking Lil Wayne to be on his new album “Mainstream Sellout.”

  • Our plant medicines as Indigenous peoples are so incredibly important to us, our stories, our history, our way of life. So I thank MGK for so respectfully speaking about this experience and its importance, because it is often something that is made into jokes, fodder, or otherwise complete disrepect for we as Indigenous peoples. Thanks, MGK.

    • Feel the same way, plant medicine is holy and should always be treated with respect and careful preparation in terms of mental, physical and not eating certain things. It can be healing but you’ve gotta be ready for it’s healing abilities and take the good with the bad

    • Gotta get thru something not around it, it’s such a healing time, Megan’s first night was sunshine and healing and the second night she went deeper but the last night with the healing protection I am surprised she didn’t go to finish it. I really believe the saying that you should finish what you started, 🌙the only way is through 🪷

The Sex Pistols were bad because it was an art form. Blink 182 had a great drummer and capable guitarists and Mark Hoppus to round out Tom's vocals. MGK's live performance at that award show was just appalling "In my YED" 😆. You can't expect me to not critique MGK's music when Eminem beats the Rap out of him for talking trash and then he attacks Corey Taylor of Slipknot... MGK is a label stooge, they're using him to fill a slot in the industry until his clout dies out.

Though I recommend it, it can be a really scary experience. He redeemed himself at the end of the story but at first it seemed like it was a joke to him. • @@humane143imperfection6 I never mentioned anything about Eminem as he is way bigger. As far as album sales go, that is not a good indicator of current succes. At all. Slipknot has been around much longer, and was around in an era where streaming wasn’t as dominant. The fact is that streaming music is the main way to do it. As far as your argument about Spotify pushing his music goes, it’s nonsense. Never saw a single song from either Slipknot or MGK without having to look for it. The fact at this moment is that MGK has 20.7 million monthly listeners. That’s more than some of the most popular pop artists at the moment. Slipknot is at 8.4 million. That’s a big, big difference. He’s also not just bigger on Spotify. He has more subs and views on KZhead as well. To name another example. And of course music is a popularity contest. The size and success of an artist is literally measured by how popular that artist is.

  • If dou consider to take ayahuasca once, try to get into a group of max 5 people. One shaman can not handle 20 people at the same time especially if you experience hard trips. You will also feel a lot better than with so many other people. Just as a tip. And try to think as positive as possible and don’t be afraid when you take it so the chances are better that your trip will be better. It’s very traditional and you should really not take it if you „just want a trip“. It’s rather to work on yourself. :)
