An incredible feeling for the game. This is something stats can't properly measure, but anyone who understands the game sees that. Except Skip.

  • There is also a nuance about Luka that Skip is missing. Luka, much like Steph, plays with a great joy and he even said it in his interview that he plays better when that happens. It's not always mocking his opponents, although he certainly does that, especially when they try to come at him verbally. It is him truly enjoying the game when the pressure is the highest. Heard a great commentary about how loud and obnoxious European basketball crowds are and that environment is way louder and more difficult to handle then NBA crowds and Luka played for championships in that environment previously.

  • When Luka said "its easier to score in the NBA", he really meant it. The Mavs got it figured out, especially with Kidd and Kokoskov at the helm. What Dallas has going for them over the teams they've faced in the playoffs, is a blend of European Team Ball and NBA Stardom. The rhythm that Luka plays at can't be matched with just bigs. Doubling up on Wing defenders helps slow him down. CP0 was a no show, Booker, Bridges, Payne. The entire Suns org got a slice of humble pie. Luka didn't figure out anything, you did Skip. • I remember watching this early on & seeing the rout was on by the Mavs, so there was no point in watching it. I actually turned to watch the Rangers & Penguins game 7 instead which was *SOOOO* much more exciting and the Rangers win in OT.... So I'd like to thank the Mavs for this blowout cuz it just might've made me a hockey fan now cuz playoff hockey is LITTTT

Both would have easily been 60-win teams had the played the way they did after the first of the year all year long. They were both taking teams apart. I'll give them the kiss of death. But I could see both Boston and Dallas in the final.

I knew PHX wasn't going no where they got exposed by the Pelicans in the first round series, just go back and re-watch that first round series Suns/Pelicans and you'll see how they got exposed. If Zion wasn't out hurt in that first round series PHX would have gotten knock out the first round

PHX always was overrated and overhyped you can even go back and re-watch even in last year finals when the BUCKS figured them out and exposed them. And beat them in game 6 and won the title. I remember when the playoffs first started everybody kept sayin, it was going to be either GSW/ MAVS or The GRIZZLIES that would knock them out the MAVS was just the team to knock them out before the GSW or GRIZZLIES was able to get to them, the MAVS just got to them first and the PELICANS almost got em PHX has always been overrated and overhyped
