Days gone is one of the oddest games for me. I loved it but i do justify those early reviews that trashed the game. Mostly the ones that focused on the bugs. I bought the game day one and experience multiple crashes. Voices did not match the models during cutscenes. Some camps flat out didnt load properly and had invisible walls. I put the game down for like 2 months before trying again. Game was night and day. It played a lot better and became one of the few games i actually cared enough to platinum. Wish sony had actually cared about this game enough to support it. They never really gave it a good marketing push and they abandoned it after release. Despite decent sales

Days gone was only bad at first because it wasn't ready yet to be released. I got it on pc and it's incredible. It's def not considered weak anymore, just look at what ppl say in every comment section now
Nah, you still see a lot of dissenting voices on Days Gone too. It's pretty divisive today too. Honestly think it's because the beginning is so clunky feeling. Shooting especially feels like shit in the first couple hours, and it feels like there's ammo scarcity because if you try to fight, you'll blow right through your ammo regularly, without getting enough money or loot restock. I say that because that's a lot of the complaints I see, and it's what chased me off the first time trying it. Which was only a year or so ago.
Makes me sick to my stomach that both The Last Guardian AND Arkham Origins are on this dreadful list.

Talking about divisive: I really liked Starfield. It wasn't the ground shaking new game as advertised, but I enjoyed it for the game's flaws and I'm interested to see what expansions it gets.
