Here, I'm trying to share my concern about my birdie's constant molting issue, and why this tends to happen, in order to help other bird parents understand this problem.
Praying for this bird and all animals. 🙏 ❤
This is really interesting! I have a crimson belly conure who also has very long molts. It’s worried me and I’ve been trying to make sure she eats better (she very much only wants seeds and fruits, she absolutely will not touch pellets though I’ve tried for years). I will try working on her lighting too! I’ll subscribe to you to see if you have any success with your little one!
Thanks 💖...working on diet is very important. There's one more reason for long molts that I found. I'll try to make a video on it soon.
Molting is an itchy process for birds. Thanks for sharing your videos.
I thought that thumbnail was a goblin smoking a cigarette
😂 yeah, why not...I think they got the inspiration to imagine the looks of goblins from birds 🙃
❤❤❤❤
My green cheek conure also constantly grows new feathers. I have 5 other birds that dont. The vet says she is healthy so i dont know.....
Yes, the vet said same to me "she's healthy". As long as you don't notice any bold patches it's fine, but a bit of a hassle to do the pin feathers all the time, that's all.
Have you found any solutions? I may also having this issue with my pineapple conure.
I'm working on it, and all that I'm doing I'll be sharing hopefully by Saturday. Hope it will help your bird too
@@birdiefriends438 Thank you I am waiting.
During the molting period provide them a good calcium supplement.
I am, as you advised 👍
Nice video
Thanks
He needs more sunlight or he eats more seeds
There's no dearth of sunlight here, and she gets direct sunlight every morning. But she doesn't eat any seeds I don't know why...I tried a lot but she just doesn't like any seeds, which is very strange for a bird. But I still make her eat at least a tiny bit every day, by my hands
@@birdiefriends438 Ok
It is normal to molt.😊
Yes of course, but she molts all the time. However, reduced a lot after adopting changes
Hola bañarlo para que se le quite la picason en las pluma
Yes, I'm doing that with special homemade spray/bath...I have put up that video as well, if anyone needs
