12 Hours to Live Full Movie (2006)
An FBI Agent must race against time to save the lives of two teens being held hostage by a dangerous gunman. 18 year old Amy is kidnapped by a deranged gunman. Together in an SUV, the two criss-cross the countryside evading the police by using back roads.
Stopping for gas, Amy sees only to closely what happens when you cross the man with the gun. With her looking on, the gas station attendant is shot dead. Adding to Amy's misery is that she is diabetic. Analzying her options, Amy knows her chances of survival diminish with each passing hour.
Without an insulin injection in the next few hours, she will fall into a coma and die. Once comatose, shes no good to the gunman. He'll surely dump her lifeless body on the side of the road. If the police find them, it's probably death in a hale of bullets. With nowhere to turn for help, Amy realizes that she must rely on her wits to get her through this ordeal.
Cast: Ione Skye, Kevin Durand, Brittney Wilson, Kim Coates , Doug Abrahams, Rukiya Bernard, Michael Boisvert
Director: George Mendeluk

One would assume contact through the windows , probably bullet exchanges , and she's rt on his tail, at the refinery to find some stolen money. One also has to say far fetched is an understatement.😢

  • I searched for murder mysteries of the 1980s and this movie popped up. After some minutes I suspected this movie to be from the 80s. I checked and learned it is from 2006. Why suspection? It's miles away from the quality of movies of that era. What really has happened to the American film industry? Usually, things should become better with age. Here, it is the opposite!

  • Sure would have been nice if she could have gotten a comeuppance with the Prim a-donna FBI agent. I could have written a better script than the writers did. She makes a straight open field approach to the farm house. Yes Amy is about to go into insulin shock. Then she goes to an abandon warehouse, and the bad guy can't hear her stomping through the building. She could have squatted when he exposed himself.

  • I hate these Diabetic plot lines by hollywood, they are all wrong, it's just the opposite. She isn't going to die in a few hours if she doesn't get insulin. This does a disservice to the public who doesn't know better. If she had just injected a shot, then she would need to eat within 1/2 hour or otherwise have a problem. Type 1, 30 years here.

  • The man with the gun goes soft on Amy. The FBI agent goes after him because he killed her partner and lover. The gunman goes after the money that's part of the deal he made with his crime partner. The FBI agent follows him. So what's the big deal in the Movie? I guess the care he showed for Amy made people wonder - will he hurt her or will he not, will he hurt her or will he not...? That was the hanging suspense. What else?

That time could have added to the story at the end, showing the arrogant Jack Bryant getting his just desserts! Why did you miss that out?

  • Personal relationships in work do not go well moreso a partner in a police station? That is why when found having one they are being transferrerd. Was it only me ...an fbi woman a sharp shooter had the chance to shoot the robbers but hesitated and instead wet to her lover whom he could not save at all.Does it make any sense at all?

    • Yes. It's one thing shooting at stationary targets & entirely different when a victim is in the way & constantly moving at the same time the perp is. As for her partner, he was already shot. If she had managed to shoot the perp, her partner still would have died.

  • If crime doesn’t pay why do criminals keep doing it? If it’s money they’re after it’s a lot easier making it legally besides not having to look over you shoulder for the rest of your life. Maybe it’s fame they seek, having their names in papers and over the radio and tv. That too is easier legally. They should go into show biz or join a rock band, run for office or become a you tuber. It just goes to show how strong our bad inclination is that it could get people to do things that they will regret forever. More power to the good inclination.

    • That’s no excuse, GOD gives us all the wherewithal to create our own path in life. It may be the talents we have or skills that we learned or good influences that we bumped into. That’s exactly our challenge, to take the difficult past and undo it without bad mouthing where we came from because that would be unappreciative of life our parents gave us with which we can use to build on.

  • Good acting, filming, director, editing, etc... But none of this is realistic at all... The "gunman" went across three state lines, and killed an FBI agent... There would have been 100s if not 1000s of active agents all over this, the partner's house would have been under surveillance, etc, etc, etc...

  • Unreal how STUPID this movie is. 1. Starts out with the perp running out of gas NOT Below Empty making a sound of an engine OVERHEATING. When a car runs out of gas, it JUST STOPS! 2, Car is a LATE 70's CAMERO, NOT a "98 Trans Am" the APB on the Cop Radio! 3. The girl grabs ?the Keys (did she like the car so much she didn't want him to steal it?) when the Cop rolls by with the Light Beam. NO, She would have just Opened the door and RAN to the COP Car! 4. The Cop would have STOPPED and Asked what they were doing. Cops ALWAYS do! 5. The Guy drives away, cop comes back (WHY? That wouldn't happen) and the 18 yr old guy stays LAYING and POUNDING THE GROUND!? Please! Any Male who had enough EGO to take a grirl out to nail her would have JUMPED up as soon as he could and waved the cop down! What a Waste of time and an insult to our intelligence!
