I remember Pickford screaming at his defenders in previous seasons, really letting them have it. He's much calmer nowadays which leads me to think he's just gotten so used to it.

To be frank though Pickford makes his own share of high profile errors and brainfarts and his first touch with the feet is always poor. Throwing stones from glass houses, etc.

scream is important i guess. its improve self mentallity. but the scream should be tell them what to do, not just blaming them. sometimes defenders just disturb keeper sight and not doing well at defending, we need to scream loud at them

Unlucky result for Doncaster that, fully deserved to win, should have been 2-0 up to be fair. But that's how football goes, the prem clubs usually get fortunate in clawing their way back, they had an abysmal game. Can't see them beating any premier league sides this season, maybe Luton

Football has moved on and left Sean Dyche behind. Dour, drab, defensive football, big man up top, get crosses in, win set pieces, strong lads at the back, lots of huffing and puffing, nick a 1-0 win, maybe stay up for another season - is that all Everton are about these days?

Dyche is more adaptable than you give him credit for. Took Burnley into Europe one season. Like any manager, he needs talent to play a style that's more pleasing to the eye. With this Everton squad, yes, they are about winning by any means necessary.

@matpsim nah he didn't take them into Europe he got knocked out in the qualifiers, he almost got them there though which is still some achievement for a club that size who never backed him, he's literally working on the same budget at Everton that he was at Burnley which is mental, without investment its clear to see that squad just isn't good enough he can't work miracles.

@@FaustoTheBoozehound agree, it's far more poor management and recruitment on the club's part. Paying large sums for Championship level players like Maupay, Mykolenko, etc. and having no creative talent (Demarai Gray was the most creative player?!) in the squad equals dire football.
