A hardened mercenary's mission becomes a soul-searching race to survive when he's sent into Bangladesh to rescue a drug lord's kidnapped son.
I swear Chris's voice gets deeper everytime he talks
ScarlettP he’s preparing for his role as Hulk Hogan
You're making that voice
Ikr
Comes with being the god of thunder
He was expecting that highlight.
This is why we need more former stuntmen directing action movies.
Nah, they dont do good with stories but do keep hiring them as stunt cordinators.
@@VincentStevenStudio i guess if they were the writers i wouldn't want them. But if they were given a great story to direct. I see a lot of potential. For example, the john wick series
Imagine a movie made by this guy and Gareth Evans. 🔥🤯
@Johnny Savage still, directors can influence tone, style. I bet if the Russos directed it would be much better and less generic.
@@VincentStevenStudio bro the russo's wrote the damn script and helped produce it
"You don't look like a Tyler... you look more like of a Brad" - Ovi Jr.
Ovi should've said, "more like a Chris" that would've been EPIC!
I strongly believe that was a fight club reference! 😂
@@JeisonTheMystic I KNOW when I was watching the movie I genuinely thought he would say Chris What a missed opportunity
Isn’t that a gardening tool?

Best movie I watched during this quarantine so far this year.
Check out "the Hunt" and "the Gentlemen"
All 3 are my top

Wow, I didn't even think about it, but that's true for me, too.

Man we got John Wick to thank for the evolution of action movies. Shaky cams, too many cut scenes, etc that shit is over
Thanks to john wick, winter soldier, daredevil, civil war, kingsman we have good action now and john wick is of course the essential part
Have you even watched The Raid movies?
@@daneperez3691 of course ive seen the raid. Imo i think it has better action than john wick but john wick is way more popular and single handedly changed Hollywood action movies. The raid isnt even Hollywood.
Hell yeah
@@daneperez3691 The Raid has unnecessary Action Gags inbetween Action that just looks so stupid. It has great action but sometimes, it's just too much.
That was one hell of a badass movie. Hope we get lot more movies from Hargrave.
If you could understand Bengali, you would have never said that.
I agree 👍 this was a super cool movie 🎥, the fighting scenes it awesome, he did a great job both of them
Learn & Earn With Faqrul , it’s an action film and its probably one of the best in recent years. It’s not a documentary or a film trying to win Oscar best picture, it’s a hardcore action movie!
@@innoc3ntbystndr Man, The Bangali characters speak so bad it made my ear hurt. The Bangli texts had so many mistakes. Same person was wearing army logo, police batch, and RAB (a totally different force) dress. It made no sense.
@@LearnEarnWithFaqrul I understand Bengali,Yeah it had bad language in Bengali and that's why it's 18+ And clearly you haven't seen the attention to detail in the Market Area, Police Car and on many more things.
I thought the movie was going to be horrible. However the movie was beyond spectacular. Hemsworth should do more movies like this. Perhaps Upgrade 2 where he goes up against the main protagonist.
main protagonist is with randeep.
Yesssss!!!!!
well they just finished filming the sequel
is anyone gonna talk about Hooda? He was splendid..
He was very good
Great actor.
Samurai
Yes if you seen reviews they all mentioned him, this is a breakdown from a specific scene they included Chris hemsworth
He was indeed! The actor who played Amir Asif was damn good...stone cold but understated!
The 11 minutes one shot camera sequence was awesome. I really need more detail behind the scene about this one shot
It was not one shot camera, there were some "invisible cuts"... but edition was on point and made everything agile.
It was a fictional oner, not an actual oner.
@@lidia3376 you're 💯 correct. I looked up the 11 min scene that had a bunch of different things going on and the director basically said the 11 min extended scene is a mix of 2 to 3 min scenes all mixed together to look like one single shot scene. I was able to tell which areas were stopped and then kept going. For the most part it's hard to tell with all the action but if you watch closely you can tell where one scene ends and another begins during the 11 min extended scene. Just gotta have a good eye. But it was very well shot coming from a first time director.
@@willf.85 I paused each and every frame I thought were possible cuts. It was seemingly flawless.
@@youngboi3727 no I was able to tell in some areas where they cut and kept going. But it was super quick I almost didn't catch the areas. But I agree the film is absolutely flawless for the most part.

The cinematography was incredible, that one fluent scene that only comprised of one shot for more than 10 minutes was incredible.
Thanos?!!!! 😅
We need a movie with *Keanu Reeves* & *Chris Hemsworth*
Facts, they shouldn't have killed him off in the end a sequel or a collaboration film with John Wick would make a perfect action movie, maybe where Chris was sent as a bounty to kill Wick or something and in the end they become friends or something
Chris💞
Him throwing around little people was great.

Best part: the kids ass whooping, he looked so confused and ends it with a clap.

The camera angles made me feel the action more, it made the movie more intense. This movie had all the ingredients of an action thriller. The knife fight in traffic was MAD FAM! 🔥
Come on! Not a single interview with Randeep Hooda? He worked just as hard as Chris!
Probably just because Chris was the star and was involved in more action scenes than Hooda.
I certainly agree he was impressive in his own right.
Yes bro
Seriously. I honestly wish both he and Randeep shared the same screen together in this video.
You know the movie is dat great when you as a viewer appreciate all the people involve who deliver to produce a great product. Cameramen - epic camera movement and angles. Stunt crew - great execution to make evry action scene more realistic. Director, creator, writer, editor - ensuring evry single detail is on point. Lead Actor - the Charisma. Chris is born for this role. Thank you everyone for making our quarantine days worthwhile.
When the director said "that was his last day on set" 🤣🤣😂😂😂
see? he didn't really die at the end of the movie coz he's doing an interview now. he checked the kid first at the pool then head off to do the interview.
Gerald Cabinatan , the sniper, Gaetan, as you can see is also alive.
You might want to spoiler tag.

True
The ending makes me angry but it’s a great movie
Victoria Talabi Well in the original ending he died on the bridge but the test audience didn’t like how he died so the director made it so that the person watching can interpret the ending on whether he died or not.
he didn't die mate, take a look at the ending school scene and the first school scene. Kids wear different uniforms and there are actually lots of blond people, indicating that the kid is in Aus now
He didn't died
This movie was an absolute delight to watch. They should definitely make a second part of it
Third act was was really good, especially with Chris Hemsworth in full Call of Duty mode.

Sam did such an amazing work on this! he's going to be a massive action director in the near future!
Sam's beard game is so strong
The best action movie after long time Very different from typical action movies

Amy Nasir it was trash
Enjoyable movie but so cliche

@Digonto Zahid it seems like you're making fun of him or something but whatever dude have a good day
This movie was great. The fights scene where amazing, some of the best of I've seen since the john wicks. They should turn this into a franchise it's got lots of potential and room to grow. They did a good job with not dragging shit out and just giving the perfect amount of story with jam packed not wanting to look away action.

It's how it works. You don't have to make 20 movies for people to care about your characters. It's just Disney have no clue wtf they're doing.
Facts, great movie
“That was his last day on set.” 😂
*I'm so happy for Randeep Hooda*
He is a manlet, and a brown manlet on top of that. Not very impressive, he won't ever make it outside the 3rd world Bollywood
After this movie, I love Chris Hemsworth seriously 🥺
Amazing action sequences. Cant wait for more. Bring it on.
So awesome guys, You guys nailed it with gun sound, gun spark, and overall stories
Do you think he still alive? Because the last scene when that boy going surface there's somebody standing there.
Yes he is,I hope for a second film.
Yes, definitely. It's a tie in to the beginning when he stayed under water so long after jumping off the water fall. If this film is a huge success, Tyler Rake will be back to kick even more ass.
Well actually , it's up to your opinion. If you want a sad , more realistic ending , then go with the one in which he dies. But if you want a more happy ending , then go with the pool one , cause Ovi is cleary imagining it , the same way Tyler got those visions of his son.
He is alive. That was the point of the opening scene of Tyler's character under water. Also, simple rule of ENTERTAINMENT - if you don't see the dead body, don't believe it.
They played a game there... Like if this movie scores well then he is alive and ready to take more but if it doesn't then the boy was just imagining him like he does for his son.
I love how the ending of the film is done. It ends the story on a solid note, but leaves open the possibility of a sequel if enough people want it.
The movie was amazing. Great work, Cinematic perfection. Loved the way they filmed the fight scenes. 👏 bravo
Thank you guys for make this type of explanations. This film is awesom, congrats all involved. I want more of this team 👍👍👍.

Damn, I'm waiting for this MasterPiece !
I have not seen anyone taller then Chris or as tall as him in the whole movie .
Edmund Tan well chris is 6’4
David harbour is taller then him,or atleast they are the same height
Abdullah Tariq Nope, indian people given the same nutrition will be as tall as any other race
@@IndoManiac90 actually along with nutrition, genes also play a pivotal role. Short stature runs in their families and has been passed on from generation to generation.
Abdullah Tariq Nope, because height is also affected through generations if the parents were malnurished, it takes a couple of generations with better nutrition and living standards to catch up, thats why dutch people were significantly shorter only 50 years ago than they are today, and why north koreans are significantly shorter on average than south koreans. Indians have genetics to be just as tall as any other race on average given equal nutrition.
Fayaaah! Can't wait for part 2 ⚔️
