    • @@benjaminroman916his mom abandoned the family when he was 9, his dad was unemployed and an alcoholic. mgk said his dad never really took care of him, he wouldnt buy food but would buy alcohol instead, and he kicked mgk out when he was young. mgk was doing hard drugs and basically supporting himself when he should have been taken care of by his parents.

    • i think it was just trauma from not wanting to be like his own parents. he has to be a strong person, he said he was broke and didnt even have money for food but kept pursuing music because he had to take care of his child

  • I never really got into MGK, or know anything about him. But wow, you can tell he’s a quiet shy guy. Performers like that always amaze me, they slip into their stage name and it’s like hitting a light switch. Boom, all of a sudden confidence pops out and you could never imagine them being shy.
