    • @@bigjc5546that’s exactly how it works 😂 when you get to know someone so well, you know how they would react in a certain situation. same goes for authors, once they’ve created interesting characters, the story writes itself. law was only intended for one ark, but his character was so interesting he worked himself into the rest of the plot. avatar the last airbender, samurai champloo, and cowboy bebop are all amazing examples of an author creating characters and throwing them in interesting situations and letting the story tell itself. although oda has always had a loose road map for the narrative of one piece, he has said himself that he lets his “on the spur of the moment” ideas fill the gaps. he hasn’t planned those moments, they just work themselves in naturally.

  • Luffy only appeared in 900 eps instead of 1000 because luffy wasn’t always there sometimes gone. For example in the arc when he fights crocodile first.

  • Anime pacing astounds me. Fujitora is in more than Kuzan, Bon Clay (Best boy is in a shockingly few amount of episodes compared to others) and Blackbeard. Or for something even crazier; Ulti is in more episodes than Enel💀 So many parts of this are wild to me (way more than just those examples) As someone who reads the manga and has not ventured into the anime since I dropped it years ago (and only just caught up to the manga after live action) it's just crazy
