  • I had operated a Wa 380 Komatsu loader loading dump trucks and a 375 Ax Komatsu bulldozer for 43 years and wish I would have had videos like these in my earlier years I am now retired from working in a phosphate mine

    • Bro.. trust me that was a shit into to mining loaders. He does good videos.. 👍 but that L1850 is the WORST example of large mining loaders. Komatsu WA1200 or Caterpillar 994 are better examples. (For real loader operators.)

    • The joystick option comes with most all newer loaders now. I don’t like the joystick personally tho. Feel like I have more control with a steering wheel

  • I haven't run one for over twenty years and if I was to crawl on one it would be serious distress. I can say that as they get newer that they seem a lot safer. I ran a 988 and the 966 but other than that was a fiat chalmers, sorry about the spelling, that needs a ton of work and I'm 72 so don't put much on that happening. That is very impressive machine... I have worked in mines running drills and they had a loading system where it filled the dock then the dock dumped the stuff in carts on the fly so it was very quick but not very sanitary system.. impressive video

  • this is just a Komatsu by name. everything on this machine is letourneau through and through. nobody can build a loader like this exept letourneau in texas. there is no other loaders like this.i respect Komatsu, but this ain't no Komatsu. only in name.

      @HeavyMetalLearning@HeavyMetalLearning4 жыл бұрын
    • @@HeavyMetalLearning no they would not have closed. they produce something no one can. giant hybrid loaders. no one but letourneau can built something like the l2350. but yes, their survival is much better with a company like Komatsu. they have something caterpillar does not have. these loaders are a necessity in huge open pit mines. and Komatsu respect the letourneau heritage. i much prefer to see them with Komatsu. i have the biography of r.g. letourneau. and the fact Komatsu model name for these loaders is p&h is cool. p&h l2350. we have these loaders in canada.
