Andrew and Danai would not have agreed to bring back this story, a ratings bonanza, a fan favorite, only to do it dirty. She has the original katana displayed in her home, she loves that character as much as we all do. She would never agree to kill her for ratings. Hell no.
After watching episode four, there is no way Rick or Michonne would die. Episode four literally mended the broken Rick. So my prediction is that Rick and Michonne will go home to their children and there will be season two for the commonwealth to fight CRM.

I'd agree with you, but there's also a possibility that the writers made a change in who returned. Like when Glenn and Abraham were killed, they shot murder scenes for all characters. I think it's possible that it could be anybody, and the writers are just going off of whichever actor is willing to return.

@@AshlynTeague Yeah, but it could be Morgan or Maggie came looking for help with the Negan stuff or heck, Maggie gets captured and Negan came back and Daryl was the one who told him to stay away. Gimple mentioned the potential for crossovers so he really left it open to be anyone.

The tears could be that Carl shows up in Rick’s dream again. But this time it’s adult Carl. Wouldn’t it be cool if Chandler Riggs shows up. Plus happy tears for the reunion with Judith wearing her dad’s shirt and RJ wearing his dad’s hat. If Rick and Michonne survives, with all of this, I will be so happy.

They could do that dream scene a couple different ways. As if he didn’t die and he dreams of their life now in Alexandria or as if the apocalypse never happened and he’s helping Carl move in to the college dorm or something But the conversation they have in the dream somehow ties in the present and Carl helps Rick do something.
I need a Rick and Daryl reunion. They're both the heart and soul of The Walking Dead. Became Brothers and Best friends. Daryl crying after the bridge ane spend almost 6 years depressed in the wilderness looking for Rick evidence. They have to reunite someway somehow

I believe it is Rick and Michonne returning, because why else would they show Rick learning how to fly a helicopter?
When you said you thought Michonne would die, I couldn’t understand why you believed that. Rick said without her , he dies. Which would be tragic.
I think the way I could have said it better was I was afraid she would. I was very anxious because I love both Michonne and Danai and with the way that Gimple writes overall I was afraid he was setting that up.

That scene of Rick walking is from episode 2 or 3 when Michonne was in consignment
The tissues could be for the montages since they could be throwback scenes to TWD. Since Gimple has made both Danai and Andy part of the creative process and Danai also part of the writing team, they would more then likely not be adverse to another season. During the many interviews leading up to TOWL whenever the question on whether there would be another season was asked, Gimple would hint on the possibility of that happening. And Danai herself said she would be up for it. That kind of suggests she would be up for S2. Plus we have to remember that Danai filmed two Black Panther movies, wrote plays one of them Tony nominated while on the main show. Therefore, now that she is part of the creative process for this show and TOWL has been a success, I think both Danai and Andy would be up for a S2. And any deaths of either Mchonne or Rick will be fake ones. Revealed if and when AMC lets us know there is a S2. What Danai said years ago does not apply now.
All I need, ALL I NEED is rick and michonne getting back to their kids and Rick reuniting with Daryl and Morgan. I also like the idea of them being in the heli because it makes so much sense. Gabriel looking up was after the entire episode.

They find out the crm is aware of the commonwealth as the only other huge colony in the states, and since it’s lead by carol during the summit they’ll see this and it’ll end open and up in the air
At the end of the main show, the Commonwealth is led by Mercer and Ezekiel. I don’t know the position that Lance was but Carol took Lance’s place at the Commonwealth

In the Walking Dead Series Finale during the last scenes with Darryl b4 he rode away, while sitting on the log Darryl tells Carol she was doing an excellent job of taking over Pamela's role. Corrected below after watching the close caption...she took over Hornsby's role not Milton

I did wonder though if they accidentally ran into each other before all the flash back scenes. The first flashback we see Jadis, she says, "it's OK, I'm alone". Last time we knew Gabriel saw Jadis she had him tied up in her junkyard and they were alone, so to me that comment makes no sense! Maybe he gave Jadis his coat, as surely he wouldn't have just come across it after she died... and all of this was to cause panic and confusion for alexandria for no reason 😂 or maybe that's wishful thinking

The helicopter gabriel heard was Jadis. That was the start of episode 4. I think Rick and Michonne kidnap Beale.
I agree that when they are leaning over the large container and open it I think Beale is inside of it and it's how Michonne ends up with his sword. Rick says she is crazy or something along those lines in a preview and she agrees with him.

Best thought out guestimation of finale I've seen. I felt since Rick trained to be a pilot, thats the only way they could escape and get there fast enough to beat the CRM if it was planning attack. CRM has known about Alexandria and other communities since beginning. There is a helipad at the garbage dump. Perhaps they land there.

I like your take on things. Bring your tissues could be Rick flying them both home and they get off the helicopter and Judith and RJ run up to them or Thorne sacrifices herself to make part of Okafor's plan happen or help them escape. I think we would need tissues if we saw a very short reunion where they hug and tell them "we need to evacuate, the CRM are coming".
Those transports hold more fuel, so that would make sense that he would bring a bigger helicopter than a Halo home.
The helicopter with Gabrielle was just jadus going to meet Gabrielle for the first time in the woods
I love the happy ending, and I wouldn't want anything else. In the scene where Rick is in full CRM gear without the helmet and the gate, he still has that open cut and blood on his forehead. He had that in the woods with Michonne. "Til my last breath, I am yours."
I read somewhere that it is the premier of "Daryl Dixon"...Book of Carol this Sunday immediately following TOWL
The series is not being released until summer 2024, but a big premiere of the first look for S2 for the Daryl Dixon: Book of Carol will be shown on Sunday after the finale of TOWL. Big trailer for it I expect everyone will be breaking down and picking apart.

Honestly I think one of them.does because they are allowing them creative control, Andrew and danai did a walk back over the episodes of them first meeting, and other special moments they've shared if you e watched the extras available on the AMC app. There's too much sentimental stuff going on for them to live. One of them or both dies. The way that michonne smiled when they drove away from the smart building and she has that big smile...I feel like something bad is now going to happen...it's always been that way...as soon as they get a Big win, they get an even bigger lose. But I have heard other spoilers from other resources say that there already is confirmation of a season 2 to this mini series. But even if that's accurate, it doesn't mean they both make it out of season 1

The fact Michonne has the generals sword on her back in that first picture tells me she's going to be fine.
They are both going to live. Yes , this is TWD but it's the action packed romantic comedy version. The dialogue I heard in the trailer tells me they are keeping that vibe through the finale.

this kinda seems like a random guess. that shot could easily be them arriving back at the CRM early in the episode. michonne parting ways to go find the file while rick goes in to get the briefing.

I was more afraid of it. The showrunner, Gimple's writing style has a lot of foreshadowing. I was really anxious about all the sacrifice talk from Michonne. To be honest she would sacrifice herself for her family. Michonne is such an amazing character and Dania is such a gifted writer and performer I was afraid that the story was setting us up to lose her. I want to see her and Rick both go home to their kids. TWD seldom has a happy ending. Also, Gimple's comments about what is to come scared me for Michonne. Thank you for watching and commenting. I look forward to seeing you share your thoughts on videos.
Most people who do youtube videos and even people who are in TWD fan groups are theorizing that she will die in the finale. It's a huge fan theory right now. It's everywhere from youtube to facebook to reddit and so on.
