I really want to see individual speedometer design and odometer for each car like in TDU 2. Do you agree with me?
Definitely, but the core gameplay should be the focused first, things like that are the icing on the cake. It's nice but not the most essential
The individual odometers for each car was a great touch in TDU 1 & 2
I turn the HUD off. I find it looks cheesy when I'm cruising
Yeah that's a cool thing, but there's about 50 more actual important things like denser traffic, peds, proper wheel and peripheral support. Stable servers, easy invite system - I could keep going. I'm bringing this up because I've seen a lot of people pushing speedometer designs, but tbh, that shouldn't be a priority at all.
@@DeejayJeanP not only that but modders will be able to make that happen pretty easy.
Man I really hope this game gets pedestrians, even if they’re low quality ones like in the crew. Those streets would look so alive with more traffic and pedestrians
Go play GTA then
@@TheAlexVII yes
@@TheAlexVIIi am hoping TDUSC gonna be a great game. Coco Hayashi also wanted TDU SOLAR CROWN to be a great game likewise.
You just want to run over the Chinese you racist!
That was one of my problems with TDU 2. Sometimes, the streets felt dead because there was absolutely no one around.
TDUSC is looking really good, they didn't show off any cheaper cars in the gameplay, but I'm hoping they start you with a cheap used car like in TDU2
Im sure you will start with that. I think they heared people wanting to grind up their way to their beloved car instead of just getting it easy like in Forza. I saw in this video that for overtaking and speeding you get to earn like 1500 credits, way much than in TDU 2 (100 $). Which means the cheapest car will cost around 80.000 or even 100.000.
We saw an F150
I mean, in tdu 2 you started with 69 mustang, lotus esprit and lancia delta integrale. and none of them are really cheap XD
@@TMILP I mean, yeah, now with the modern market, any of those 3 cars would fetch a lot of money in good shape. But I'd still rather start a game in a Delta Integrale I paid $50,000 for instead of the game handing me a $300,000 Lambo for doing nothing (*cough Forza cough*) lol
@@TMILP bro those cars was buns those prob was about 20K in game
If they add pedestrians, they HAVE to make it so that if you park a nice car by them they complement it. It would be such a cool touch and would totally be TDU vibes. Also good to hear that the physics are still being tuned for crusing, i was scared cruising would be like the crew 2 and be very twitchy. TDU HYPE is back and is for real!!!
I'm pretty sure the pedestrians in Midnight Club LA talk about your car as they walk by it, so it can definitely be done in TDU!
Im pretty sure there will be no pedestrians just like all the previous TDU. If it works in the past don't change.....
Wym tdu vibes? I don’t remember pedestrians commenting on my car in tdu.. gta v maybe..
This one took a while my bad! Hope you enjoy, this game is truly promising, I'm not going to lie to you, cus obviously at some point you'll play the game yourself. A budget a fraction the size of its competitors and this game is going to make some people surprised. This game isn't finished, there's work to do, but I really think it will bang. There's so much in this game, so many TDU features you haven't even seen yet, just keep patient, you don't have to be hyped now, but as months go by, you'll realise what I'm saying is true
Problem is that people are fixating on the issues atm e.g. the skyscraper lighting not looking too polished and this perhaps getting too much screen time in the gameplay, but if people looked at the game at its best i.e. the car/building interiors (minus the same model in the streets HQ), some of the off-road views or the city during the day with all the shops etc, this game looks incredible and way more polished. Its a shame seeing the community be disappointed when, at its best, this game looks stunning and with a touch up of the alpha's slight lighting issues, it will blow people away.
Im buying it just promise me Vivian in the game? Jk 😉 but ugh no dancehall reggae station? 😢
Most people here are excited about the therapeutic cruising coming in TDU. How does the field of view feel in first person?
the lighting and car reflection at night look gorgeous i hope they don't change that aspect too much, also the cars look more realistic and authentic than recent open word games
Is it online only?
Please ask the devs to add accurate speed gauges when in 3rd person view for each car
A lot of peeps asked for this tbf, if they can do it by launch and make it not look forced with the current UI, sure!!
That's way too much on the screen, bruv. I get what you're saying, but if you want Immersion, you need to practice driving in cockpit view.
@mayfieldd357 I just mean the speedo on the bottom right should look the same as it does in the irl car, this was a thing in the original tdu and worked brilliantly, perhaps you misunderstood what I meant?

i never said bikes are confirmed haha, I said I don't think they'll be at launch, but very likely we could see it post launch
@@TheAlexVIIThat would be cool lol.
As usual, KT really nails the map design. Tho imo the city can feel a bit empty, but thats mostly cause HK is a really crowded city irl so its not really a problem with the map itself (the lack of peds mainly causes it). The third person camera during the off road part also has the same wonky feeling like the wrc games, tho shouldnt really be a problem with good physics. Overall i see alot of potential with it, and definitely looks alot better than the screenshots shown before, especially in an alpha state. And the amount of detail shown shows that the devs actually has passion for the game, especially with the car features and the radio.
Map design is good for sure. Though it will feel more alive once you see *redacted* and the traffic is finished haha
I really do hope they add more traffic and asian pedestrians I keep forgetting this is a next Gen only game and the PS5 and Xbox series x can handle a lot of traffic and a lot of pedestrians. Both systems are optimized for it that was the problem with games on Xbox one and PS4 whenever too much was filler things were added outside of the core gameplay on a game it would make the game laggy and things would take a longer time to render in game that’s why the PS4 and Xbox are known sounding like jet engines when playing games that were clearly not optimized for those consoles
@@TheAlexVIIbut will the traffic be alot more than in the vid because it feels empty
1:05 from my understanding in irl HK, the number means available parking space. I think it will be just static texture ingame
ahhh okay okay noted! Thanks!
That’s really cool
This has nothing to do with Hong Kong in particular. Every parking garage I know has such displays. At least in bigger cities.
@@benn8793 I would think so too. It just that I cannot speak about other countries, because I have only lived in Hong Kong and UK, so I am not so sure about other countries
For me gameplay is most important ( physics, sounds ). I have a wheel, cant wait to play it. It looks great btw. I hope the turbo and gear shift noises are great.
bro wheel for sure!! I promise it'll feel nice, we need a TDU Connect showing wheel!
I'm praying this game blows forza outta the water. I mean having directionals is pretty awesome. If the physics are like a mix of forza horizon/motorsport/dirt rally. Games. I'd be stoked playing on my wheel setup 🥰 been waiting a long time for a good tdu game. Since the Xbox 360 !
The way the cars were crashing and just bouncing of the walls in the livestream was so childish. They better make it more realistic
next time we'll do a lot better bro!
Yeah giving me nfs or crew vibes
@@TheAlexVII I don't mean the way you guys were driving. The driving was fine. I meant the crashing physics didn't look right.
@@cristopheralexander1583ou want the crashing physics of TC2 or FH5 ?
@@MariahIsolated TC2? What is that
I have to say that the sounds in this game are really impressive, and the game is carrying on the DNA of the "Test Drive Unlimited" name quite well. I can imagine it's not easy to adapt TDU for the newer generation. And yes, I don't think it's easy to please the old audience so easily because updating something for modern times is not an easy task. Otherwise, we would still be having carbureted Camaros today.
hahaha exactly! great points there yo!
nop it doesnt. this looks like a forza clone to me
It does not. TDU 1 and 2 left a clear map to follow and this misses the mark.
It looks like shit dude. I mean you can put any other racing game title on this video and i would believe it, without batting an eye. It is extremely mediocre. Hope they will do complete 180, and postpone the game
@@RasulMagomedov-sm9qeare you slow or just brain dead? He stated in the fucking video that the game is in ALPHA FORM streaming gameplay on YT clocked at 1080p people like you who just suck the tit off the graphics give gaming and gamers a bad rep.
I don't know what everybody is talking about when it comes to the graphics, i think they look absolutely beautiful, once the framerate is smoothed out at launch its going to look epic.
My biggests props to Alex for maximum transparency and for understanding that not everyone is pleased and its fine
always bro, always
Hey Alex! Just a small suggestion for the devs of the game. Could you ask them to allow the indicators to automatically turn off after you turn in the intended direction? I think it makes it more realistic and convenient, thanks!
I totally agree, that adds to the immersion. Very surprised actually that indicators are not even a thing in car games.
I think at launch it will do as im sure that happens in TDU2
@@BolkiebasherIt's a thing in BeamNG since 2013 and I think it became a thing in GT7

Also these streets gives me sleeping dogs vibes Hong Kong in general is a banger of a city , better then Guernsey or Isle of Man
fasho!!
GTA V put Sleeping Dogs out of business it was on par with GTA but couldn’t sell because it didn’t have a large market like GTA. It was also un relatable to who they were targeting teenage americans I also feel like a lot of game’s during that era were ahead of their time and released at the wrong time This gaming market would appreciate a Sleeping Dogs game way more than when it was competing with GTA back in 2013 and 2014 but most of that studio is completely gone Rockstar even put their own successful games out of business do to the success of gta 5 abd they sold well just not as well as gta 5 but their profits of their other games were comparable to any other successful game in the market but gta 5 made everyone look small

11:44 - They did just added a Synthwave radio? Ma boi! Our prayers have been heard! I always wanted to put radios with these types of music in car games, because it goes so well with the act of driving calmly down a road, or not!
😍😍😍
Yes they’ll need to work on the abrupt braking as well. Should be optimized for cruising.
yes!
You mean like the braking transition should be smoother and less choppy right?
@@redhunnid5142 Gotta be from "simulation-ness" of the engine they use for the WRC game. It definitely reminds of it. Also, it's probably taking in raw inputs from the controller. If not, they're using MnK on that gameplay review
Looks like it was played with a keyboard, or a woman. Only on/off braking.
One thing id like to see is license plates! They add so much detail even though its such a small feature, i loved the crew 1 especially with being able to collect license plates from different states or for horizon with the customizable plates!
I absolutely LOVE the radio stations, the fact that they finally gave classical music some love is so exciting! I am a huge fan of classical music just because of me being a classical pianist, and the selection sounds promising just by what i heard from beethoven 5! Super hyped for this game!!!
Did i see that correctly? One of the stations says Indie Rock, is there really finna be a station Rock Music in this game?
@@andreroberson6554 I'd like to think that there will, there's no talks about it going on but regardless I think it's in the game
I'm very happy that they're involving you in the development Alex, you're one of the most passionate TDU fans there is, with you play testing I'm sure they'll get things right
thank you bro, and it's not just me too, I've relayed A LOT of things you all say in comments, reddit, twitter, discord, etc. This game has potential, and I'm not trynna see KT miss the mark on it. Even financially for Nacon lmfao, all jokes aside they're a business, they need to earn profits, this game could be insanity financially for Nacon, which can only further increase the DLC support we get, and the KT devs getting the sweet bonuses they deserve
@TheAlexVII So far it looks like they're getting a lot right, do you think they'll implement real speed gauges in 3rd person view like the original games? That's the only thing I can think of which is missing.
The Corvette engine sound is nice and deep. I reckon it could reverberate more in the city similar to in a tunnel given how close those tall flat buildings are either side.
yeah I think city reverb can be a little more giving, along with some wind noises and passing noises but again, not finished atm, but I'm hoping it's ion the pipeline!
I really want to see how customization works on this game. I hope we will have options to put body kits and tune cars to our liking.
I’m assuming customization will be near Forza’s level, with interior customization and OEM wheel options. I hope so
If the physics allows us to Cruise, drift and race with a good feeling, it’ll be the greatest Game of all Time
and it's looking like it can do that! It needs work, but that's KT's goal and I think they'll nail it!
Basically like the Forza Horizon series. Hopefully a little less difficult to handle, but i'm sure this time they have assists that make sense
@@k.r.99in what world forza cars are difficult to handle???
Looks bigger than forza horizon 5
@@nagatorenningan have you ever tried driving bitchy cars with all assissts off as someone who doesn't understand vehicle physics or is an amateur at racing games? (Not me though, but sometimes even i struggle with certain vehicles at certain settings)
I LOVE that developers are working and developing games with the community together now (through early gaming etc. and receiving feedback by testers from insider programs). The Crew Motorfest had the same strategy and i think that's great fan-service. Playground Games really needs to do the same for Horizon 6
Agreed! And with the communities help, we can really get one hell of a game!

Holy shit man I'm really loving the vibes of this map. Those shops and parked cars on the sides are fuckn great! So much detail I love it! I know this is alpha version but I hope they add more traffic to make it even more alive.
I never had a problem with the graphics. (I know that KZhead messes up the livestreams...) And those who say that TDU is a Forza clone have never played the previous games. What bothered me so much about the initial presentation was that they showed almost nothing that really defines TDU. What they showed could really have been any generic open world game. Therefore, I'm glad that you went a bit more into the details here.
When I saw the live stream I was honestly expecting more even for alpha, but now that I’ve seen this video and seen more details in the alpha stage I can for sure say that this game will have a lot of potential and will become the best racing game of all time. Also I agree an engine on/off button would just be amazing I really want them to add it.
this presentation > Oficial presentation. I mean since when TDU was all about online competition we wanted tho see this kind of details youre showing us now thanks a lot Alex now I feel more enthusiastic about the game again. The KTracing marketing team should ask you more often what the community wants youre the man :)
I hope they get good feedback from the beta. Not many requests from me (newsletters and your stream video answered most) but like others have said Pedastrians Slightly tighter roads (i understand that realism in this setting isnt always best) Really hope with what you said, that they nail the feel for controllers A good "perk" system for each clan And some nice activities outside of racing (photo spots/places of interest, collectible rewards like in the hqs but in the world, and just a vibrant believable world) Also maybe in a vid or 2, they should give us a glimpse of the story in game
First of all, congrats Alex for your incredible coverage of this game!! Its really nice to see your channel growth since the first TDUSC news! And i have some questions for you: - how was the input lag in the game? - and what about the entry level cars and used cars (we already have the 500 and Mito), but they will add more of those cars, beacuse i always liked theses moments, buying the simple cars than start to growing and buying more expensive cars And now my opinion Graphics looks up to date in my view, (they have space to improve, but i rather focus in performance settings than graphics) We finally getting a map with density (different from FH series) Looking forward for this game!
- how was the input lag in the game? there was none tbh, but the controller settings need work, the steering needs more simulation so it's less twitchy, then it's good - and what about the entry-level cars and used cars (we already have the 500 and Mito), but they will add more of those cars, beacuse i always liked theses moments, buying the simple cars than start to growing and buying more expensive cars I can't speak much on the car list hehe, but it's quite solid! A nice range of everything and some nice icons and newly released cars!
@@TheAlexVII wow thank you Alex!
The brief part about you having the TDU experience visiting a great looking dealer putting key in for test drive signing contracts. & fact you say the intro full of lore & a great intro to the island sounds absolutely amazing! People really are being over critical they Will see. Also the fact that it’s 1:1 is like a secret hot sauce because ultimately real locations just play way better than fake ones as they’ve withstood test of time. As good as vice city is nothing beats the natural flow of cruising a real city and this is 1:1 and it’s the pretty Hong Kong , some epic casual afternoon drives ahead accumulating frim ! Which is another homage to series having frim
honestly, it feels like a tdu game and that is - at this point - everything I needed from that presentation
exactly yo, and fr once you see the specific TDU features, you'll enjoy it more
Thanks for you coverage. One thing that I see that would annoy me is the tire screeching every time you come to a stop. Hopefully that will be sorted.
yes not finished!!
18:56 small positive detail is noticing individual leaves/clusters falling away as you go off the road. Although that's potentially one detail that could be lost to future optimisation. We'll have to find out.
this is super impressive for such a small studio, and i can only imagine how much better it'll be next year. i honestly had my doubts about the gameplay before i saw it, but now i have seen it i'm super hyped to play this myself. from what i've seen so far, this feels like a TDU game to me and i see a lot of replayability in this which is hard to capture in modern games. thank you for showing this to us all
i liked the road exploration aspect in tdu2. you could see on which roads you already were before and which are new, plus you gain xp for discovering new ones.
I remain cautiously optimistic. The biggest thing for me is that those framerates will need to improve before launch (and maybe a 3rd person camera that's a little bit further back and up). But overall, I do like that they're trying to invoke some of the charm of the original TDU games with all the little incar options and such, so that gives me some hope that it will provide a unique experience compared to the other open world racers. Thanks for putting this together; I honestly got a lot more out of this video than the official connect.
yess cheers to mentioning the stalling with clutch and changing to each cars transmission! i loved gran turismo for it and have been wanting it on other games ever since. legend 🍻
S'up Alex, thanks for the teaser video of TDUSC gameplay and the in- depth look at some of the core features. I am stoked for the release of this title, almost as much as I was excited for the release of TDU 2. 👍 ✌️
It would be nice to see dynamic directional blinkers signal in some new cars as well
Same, seeing sequential indicators on cars like the Mustang or some Audi's would be great
great video again from our one and only saviour alex VII, it's really good to hear how the driving in the game actually feels like driving and feels really rewarding, unlike other games, gets me really hyped up and I've wanted to see one of these games for so long and it's finally here! the cars are really good as well and its features look promising like the dashboard actually working with indicator sounds and such, this game is going to be 🔥

One of my favorites games! Im so proud that you even got recognition! I love your channel keep it up❤❤
4:25 "This car is going down a path that is not even on the map" I´m sorry I have bothered during the Livestream asking about the GPS being like the TDU1, but it´s exactly because of this. The GPS needs a "satellite" like image in the background. In TDU 1, when I had already explored all the roads, I used to explore the map image looking for possible roads/ places and spots inside the green or rocky areas to explore. And even when I was just cruising around I could notice some places on the mini GPS and just go there. I hope it makes sense because, personally, this little feature added a lot regarding the exploration side. And I have never seen something like that in any other game. It´s always this "empty" mini map. It´s just a constructive criticism, I´m a TDU fan and will definitely buy this.
Maybe the freeways would look a bit better if the narrowed the driving lanes and widened the emergency (side) lanes as more of a quick fix. I do think it's too wide as it currently appears.
Same, but if what he says is true about traffic then I can see many complain that they can't move bc the traffic is too much. Has to be a sacrifice for enjoyment. Bc if you watch a driving Hong Kong video, the traffic is insane in the city. Can't see much weaving on those narrow lanes the way most would want to
@@observantmonkey4055 You cn drive around them in the emergency lanes/hard shoulder. Road width stays the same, just redivisioning the lanes.
Milage on each car should be different too that you own and I would love upgrades on cars too , tints , engine mods , lowering cars etc
there is indeed mileage in every vehicle you own! and "love upgrades on cars too , tints , engine mods , lowering cars etc" as long as you don't expect NFS customisation for widebody kits, you'll be happy
@@TheAlexVII TDUSC Should only focus on OEM+ Parts IMO. NFS customization is too tacky for a game like TDU lmao
If there's one thing I can tell Alain Jarniou it would be to use voice input for chat: it's quick and simple and means that they don't have to reveal their voices if they have social anxiety
I still can't believe we will get this game Tdu was always one of my favorite childhood game

Can’t wait for this to drop. I loved the first test drive so much. The lack of customization didn’t even matter and that was the main reason I enjoyed racing games. This seems to be a matured version of FH. Still watching the video, but is there any mention of gas stations? I’m so excited to start my TDU journey again.
18:06 gas stations are in and functional!
I 100% agree, for some reason customisation doesn't bother me in this game at all. I love the fact you can get rims and original colours of the car and it's interior. Im happy with how it looks already, I just hope they add loads of traffic.
I really hope it works out, I’m just worried about the whole tropical atmosphere being ditched, still hyped though!!!
Also, you carried the whole TDU community for years and it finally paid off! 😅😊
tbh majority of the island is tropical, you haven't even seen that side of the island yet ;)
Looks decent! Hopefully, if its wheel compatible it would be nice to be able to map the options within the HUD (Wipers, Lights, Music selection, left and right indicators etc) to the individual buttons on the wheel, adding to the overall immersion
It was badass seeing you up there big dawg!
this game looks promising but i’m excited for this and crew moterfest
That is the best sounding C7 ZR1 I ever heard in any video game and you can hear that supercharger whine with that LT5 V8 screaming perfectly. I can’t believe someone got a modern muscle car to sound identical to it’s real life counterpart and I know how that car sounds in real life stock. This is accurate if they got this one right I can only imagine how Dodge and Ford are going to sound 😮💨🔥
Bruh I need a GTR gameplay sound haha
Thanks for still gameplay! This is really interested! Can't wait all new gameplay and news from game! Where have the subtitles gone? Recently I started watching and they were, but now they are not available. Please enabled subtitles translation for russian.
Radio is nice I think a really nice option would be to have a feature you can toggle in settings (because different people have different preferences) But for this feature it would be nice to have the option in settings where we can chose where the source of the radio plays from for example When the radio is on you have the settings set to ‘tv source’ meaning the radio will be loudest despite what camera angle you’re playing on. Next option is ‘car interior source’ meaning the radio audio source will be coming from the interior of the car so lets say you play in third person, the radio wouldn’t be too loud over the car sound itself but rather a more lower sound or muffled if the car windows are up along with roof of some cars and when roof or windows are down you can still hear the radio a bit but the radio would be loudest when you play from interior camera. Only 1 game i know so far has this and its GTA V. This however would be nice to have in TDU SC
Oh no, speedometer as in Forza and NFS. In TDU 1 and 2 speedometer in right bottom corner or in center (bumper view) having unique for each cars. In this condition game trash as Forza, NFS and etc this TDU haven’t soul as TDU 1/2.
have you played it? No I thought so, but I have played it? Yes. Do I tihnk TDU DNA is there? Yes.
For me it does not feel like a TDU game. The feel of TDU just is not there anymore in my opinion.
How can you say that without even seeing the dealerships in action, the workshops, the cruising, the wheel gameplay, and so much more. I've seen the whole game bro, I'm tleling y'all it's a TDU game. Thank you for bringing me back the hype Alex! This looks soo promising it soon time to get lost in a driving game again. Suprised like you with the sound, never was a strong suit but this sounds like we gonna have fun! Just one thing i am a bit scared of and that is economy, hopefully you still need to grind for cars and not end up with 5 hypercars in the first day. Looking at the instant direction changes of the cars, there is NO way this has a more sim-like handling than Horizon. I would say it sits halfway between arcade and simcade if that.
that's because it's ALPHA, and physics aren't finished, please watch my opinions on the physics so you can understand. I went in depth. It IS SIMCADE and thats the goal, to be more sim than FH!!
@@TheAlexVII To be fair to them, I listened to the part where you spoke about physics intently as that was what I was most intrigued by. You weren't overly specific about anything. The game looks promising & i'm happy for you to be involved somewhat. You just have to accept that for some of us now there is a bit of a barrier to trust your objectivity entirely.
@@TheAlexVIIThe only way they can accomplish that is by making manual or automatic transmission not default or standard but depending on car model. Same with TCS, abs etc. In forza you can play the game just using 2 button with the amount of assists. If they disable those for all and make it an even playing ground, we might have a good skill gap and high floor to begin with. Tired of hand holding games
@@TheAlexVII I understand but in the first video from the Nakon Connect (or whatever its name) you mentioned that its more sim-like than Forza. I do understand that it is in alpha phase. I think many of us are worried because of the botched handling in TDU 2. But you have changed my mind about the graphics, maybe it will be the same with the physics. Only time will tell (and more footage of the gameplay).
The physics look great, but it looks very twitchy for a controller, I assume this is something they are working on? Btw I'm not complaining, very excited, but from everyones playthroughs i've seen, they all struggle to keep the car in one lane on the road and I think it could be the steering curve/speed factor etc??
Correct! I went over it in the physics part of the video, but controller steering isn't finished. That's pretty much why, but when you see it again, I'll show y'all some real driving, once it's all finished!
@@TheAlexVII awesome thank you and great content as always 👏
Question, do they intend or is it implemented the option to button map the wheel options? the lights, roof, windows, etc...?
10 hours of radio of each radio station my worries for the soundtrack is gone thanks alex and kt
no worries yo!
No one ever says if the game will support offline no Internet mode witch means to me nope it will be Internet connection required if so ill pass on that game
Hope offline mode please
@user-is8ii4pc8o I'm with u on that I want offline mode also
Indeed, even though the graphics can be "bad" or not up to standards, doesn't mean the gameplay is going to be tragic. Good example is BattleBit Remastered, looks like a Roblox/Minecraft mesh of a battlefield title, and yet it's doing better than those fps games!
exactly!!
@@TheAlexVII Admitting the graphics are bad tho?
@@alexprestia6632 no? I'm agreeing graphics isn't everything and even if a game looks trash, the foudnation of a game is gameplay. I still think this alpha footage looks good! Keep reaching for my thoughts though! :D
@@TheAlexVII appreciate the reporting bro, not trying to be rude. Will there be houses?
Looks like a more colorful fh5 pretty much. It's got a lot of cool features that I wish fh5 had though
Its exactly what we always wanted: a TDU 2 with good handling this time and improvement in all the other features (customization and group chat options, more lobbys where you can interact with other players like solar crown hotel, houses, dealerships, more music (10 hours really?). What did you mean about what you said about dealerships?
HYPE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I need forza 7 physics and forza horizon 5 car selection , map looks good tho and need motorcycles to make a come back , car engine off would be nice too , I hope there’s weather change too
not happening. TDU is about quality over quantity, and you'll see that soon! THere is dynamic weather, hoping bikes do return too, and physics is defo simcade!
We want GT4 cars, NFS customisation, FH5 physics, Assetto Corsa mod quality maps
@@beanmw96 We don't. Gran Turismo 7 physics and Graphics would be nice though ;-)
@@MagicAyrtonforever FH5 physics are a better balance of real and arcade, I would prefer GT7 physics but it’s a very limited market :)
@@TheAlexVII true , there should be a marketplace for cars too , for cars that you can’t get at dealers anymore like irl idk I would’ve thought tdu would came out the box for this new realize and push the expectations to another level for games
Looks decent, if a little crisp. Sure I read Rockstar say making a place looked lived in took quite a bit of doing, road lines should hopefully be an easy one to work on first though. Hope they update WRC Generations with the new engine changes, particularly water/reflections and if wheel support is better here.
The fact that it's 1:1 Hong Kong Island is all I wanted and they did it. This is going to be sick for highway cruising.
I hope that you be able to adjust the turning of the steering wheel in the car. Because it looks so weird when it only turns like 90° or less
yes steering animations are not finished yet!
I need a car wash from Vivian
not happening lol
They need to make the UI speedo match the cars irl speedo. cuz its kinda ugly/forza like right now
Goddamn, I followed your Stream on Wednesday so most of the stuff shown I‘ve already seen, but the music from the Radio Stations, holy shit that‘s good.
W Vid bro. Thanks for going out there and getting this great content!! Vivian will really get her shit blown out😂 I can’t even lie.
Man it's so beautiful even though it's just only alpha version 😢❤
agreeeed!!
I'm looking forward to play this. I wish I can buy houses and clothes. The lifestyle aspect of TDU games is a major component.
Listen, as a die hard tdu fan, test drive is known for massive maps, I mean huge maps, not dense ones. Also no houses, which is terrible. Should have also kept the original maps. So much potential ruined. You keep lying to yourself alex. Common L once again
Nah man, houses is the ONLY thing I will account for. The core about TDU wasn’t JUST the maps size, it was the driving experience you got in them. They just happened to be big. HKI is literally a TDU map. I don’t get how people can see that, and they can’t keep the original maps this game is being made from scratch. Y’all would call the map empty if they chose those maps at 1:1 scale let’s be real. Community is too close minded, y’all can’t let the nostalgia go. I’ve played it. I’m a die hard tdu fan just like you. And I enjoy the game and I see potential. Just because you disagree, doesn’t make that an L, especially since you’ve never played it to understand what I’m saying
@@TheAlexVII if its tdu sc, or tdu3, they really need to keep things tdu orientated, including the nostalgia, not forza horizon stuff. It's a real shame this game in general. There is also no Tess Wintory. Completely cuts the original story line. Look what happens when you finally complete tdu2, Tess ends the cut scene right there and should therefore be the main character of tdu sc. This game will not suffice as good enough. But keep lying to yourself because your selling yourself short for a knock off chinese tdu 🤣
@@patrickjankowski3476 okay bro, enjoy your day, I'll see you when you buy the game at release anyway
@@TheAlexVII I'll still get it, but they just don't make games like they used too anymore. Also, just because your a youtuber you cant call the tdu2 community closed minded. Its a niche type of game for og players and the community knows best. You should of told the game developers on behalf of your subscribers what we wanted. And that was definately not hong kong island in China land lmfao 🤣🤣
@@TheAlexVII also its in the name test drive 'UNLIMITED'. But youtubers know everything nowadays smh...
this game is a failure. cheap physics, cheap engine programe and city looks dead.
26:25 Bro, now im really hyped!!! I always loved the optionals selections! ❤
Ok, the atmosphere of the map is exactly how I thought it would be. they nailed the cloudy atmosphere in HK's suburbs, which is pretty much similar to my experience being in Hong Kong back in 2017. I understand it's in alpha mode so gotta expect the unpolished shadowing, as well as the elephant in the room of the same npcs raving at the nightclub as well as the emptiest surburbs I've seen in a racing game during nighttime, really hope they would make it more denser since I don't remember going to HK and having such empty traffic all throughout central hong kong my golly. physics wise tho, i think this is much better than TDU2. all we need is much more in depth crash physics and maybe a more believable damage model tho. and for a franchise rebooted after a decade, it's not that bad at all.
and once again, a working hazard and left and right blinker for those who simply want to cruise around the map. this is something I wanted that Forza Horizon just couldn't nail yet. really hope they do add like cruise and launch control to the mix too.
I've seen traffic at some really dense times in a build I played (not this one), traffic isn't finished but when it is, KT did tell me it'll be dense, that's why highway lanes are wide! Agreed, some more improvements on physics and cashing, and we are good to go!
This looks really good so far, looks fun! Thanks for the review!
The traffic density sounds amazing
Ive been playing back through TDU 2 with the TDU world mod on an damn I’m hyped if solar crown is even gonna be close to this
An interesting survey suggestion would be to see how many players regularly use in-game voice chat with strangers. I only ever use Discord.
TCM for kickass driving experience, TDU:SC for a realistic driving experience. My PS5's gonna be on overdrive by the end of the year. I wonder how many players can be in one lobby? I'd love to see tons of cars flying in and out of view. That would be an amazing experience.
Backfire is dope in zr1, nice
This looks promising! I hope all the cars we love will be in the game 🚗
