    • You know, I played this map. And I'll be honest, there were some parts of the map where it was too easy for a map that's based off of a rage-inducing B game. The ice ramp should have been slightly slippery (if it's doable in Beam), the pool's rim could have been wet (to simulate what happens if you run next to the pool), and some of the paths could have been narrower to make it more technical. These are just suggestions on how to make the challenge more engaging, but I still enjoyed this map nonetheless.

  • Spencer adjusted his landing on turtle jump as well so if Spencer didn't cheat neither did you; the pipe situation was more like bugfixing than an actual cheat

  • a lot of those big construction vehicles are actually pretty dam good at offroading: tons of ground clearance and steering meant for worming their way into a job site and all them independent sets of wheels means they maintain contact super well, it's mostly a question of whether or not their length is going to be an issue or a benefit.

  • IF the map still works, I would love to see you guys drive the road down Leap Of Death. If not L.O.D., then some similar, long route. It would be be an event of three phases or challenges. Using proper D-series off-roader trucks with a winch mod. No bumping, No trying to knock each other off.. But actual cooperation and spotting like a real-life course. If I knew how to set it up, I would, but I don't even have BeamNG on my PC. (And I doubt it would be compatible with Ubuntu, anyway) If L.O.D. First challenge: Drive from the leap ramp area, down to the lake at the bottom of the pit. Second challenge: Drive from the lake, back up to the leap ramp area. Third challenge: Longest amount of time in freefall from the leap. Easy mode: Third Person cam. Hard mode: First person cam. IReality mode: FPV goggles. Rules: - One "life" if you/your vehicle dies, You're finished. - No bumping, or pushing or any deliberate attempt to wreck another player. (You know who you are.. (O-O) - Nudging or pushes to assist another vehicle are permitted. - No respawns or resets enroute. If you fall, you're just dead/done if your vehicle is destroyed. - If your vehicle is still working, you may try to continue AS IS to the next checkpoint. - Player can only reset / repair at any one of the "checkpoints" or "pit stop camps" that shall be set up in places of wide open, flat ground along the trail. (Surely Spealer can rig those up) - Drivers in Third-person view events may use free-roam cam to spot themselves on the trail. - Drivers in First person/FPV goggles events shall not exit their vehicle. They must rely on another player acting as their spotter, who can use free cam to do so. - The exception to FPV drivers would be to allow them to go into Third person only in order to set their winch. (as I do not believe "Spotter" player can access the winch nodes on the "Driver" players vehicle.) - "Dead" drivers may observe the others, But no coaching or warning. The dead don't speak. (casual chat and encouragement are allowed, of course) - No "trick" mods or physics breaking mods, such as rock-clinging "magnets", anti-gravity, Hover jets, invincibility, super resistance or other physics mods allowed. -1-g Gravity. Moderators' choice of weather conditions (within reason. No group would off-road in 100mph winds or during a biblical flood etc) - No planes, gliders, hovercraft, rockets etc. 4X4's, Baja, Rally, Autocross type vehicles only - Leap of Death challenge: Who ever remains in freefall the longest amount of time before hitting the cliff/ground, as measured by a timer, will win the L.O.D. challenge. - Ultimate challenge of L.O.D. is to land in the lake. - Other L.O.D. challenges could be distance tumbled, level of destruction, farthest launch etc. Just an idea. Maybe L.O.D. or similar setup and rules for another map.
