In this video i will be salvaging a 12v 8 ampere DC motor from an old car wiper motor so make sure that you do not ever throw it away.

  • I just needed to state that the "Windscreen Wiper" Motor/Gearbox you showed is DIFFERENT to Most others as they usually have "3" positive/negative tabs, Not just 2 like this one, usually they have 3 & thats because u can switch between 2 of the 3 tabs to change the rotation "Speed", which makes Windscreen Wiper Motor/gearbox's Perfect for MANY different projects! Ive even seen them used as a setup for "actuators" on home Driving "Sim" setups (for PC racing & sim games) where people have made moving cockpits & these motors/gearboxes are enough to move the persons entire body weight around! Very strong.

  • Check your connections. The 2 wires that come out of the motor are 2 speeds and are connected, one at a time, to the positive pole of the battery. The negative pole is the motor body!

    • Hey rashid Yes actually you can basically you can make a lot of tools from this motor just buy drill chuck from aliexpress cost 9e and weld it to the head of the wiper motor or use screw&hole technique. But i highly recommend 775 high speed motor is you want to make a drill. just search in youtube "how to make a drill" what type of drill u want to make rashid?

  • Hi ive a Audi TTS and my wipers stopt working .so I bought 2nd hand motor .and that didn't work .so I took in garage and got no wear electricion haven't a clue when bonnet shut wiper fluid works and everything on the staik exept no conetion sum wear been months with no wipers 2010 .ive tried every were it never happened getting nothing even if I plug new wiper motor on .please help 🙏 not sere u get this from England Tia

  • One remark, you disabled the spring of the brushes by hanging the bursh wire to the back of the spring assembly. Now the spring will not push the brush, so it will not make a contact after some use
