Same thing with Kareem's MVPs as well, alot of it was lack of competition. Hakeem played in the Golden Age of big me. Guys like Shaq, David Robinson, Patrick Ewing, Mt Mutombo, and many more, even PFs like Karl Malone, Hakeem destroyed them all. Put them on skates and made them look foolish, as well as swat and slap away everything in his vicinity defensively with his deceptively quick hands. Nobody hustled like Hakeem on the court That's why Hakeem is the goat center, despite having a short resume of accolades. He was robbed of at least 1 MVP, and when he got to the promised land he performed everytime. Both in the clutch and over the course of entire games and seasons I worship Kareem as a Laker purist. Wilt was just bigger more athletic and stronger than anyone else so he could score at will, but he wasnt bodying and crashing into defender's chests and playing "bully ball" the way shaq did. Shaq played the most dominant and was brutally aggressive. Wilt was just too big/strong/gracefull and skilled for anyone to deal with at the time. Wilt's defenders didnt end up on the floor. But shaq was like a bull in a china shop. Hall of fame centers were bouncing off shaq like they got hit by a truck.
