  • I really like watching this gentleman's video's. Without naming names, I used to follow another shoeshine person here on KZhead, but all their video's have just become about the ASMR attributes and qualities of shoe-shining, and no longer about the craftsmanship, quality and pride of doing a good job in ones craft. That's what I want to continue to view, good quality craftsmanship in doing a job well done.

  • That over brushing turned the suede to nubuck. Sad. Use a copper brush to remove dirt and a fine soft brush to comb the suede to shape. Then apply the correct suede spray or lotion in line with the colour of the shoe, if not neutral. For nubuck use a rubber brush and the nubuck spray. Simple.
