So good to find it at last ! "A Wedding in Pastry Town" haunted me from the time we returned to Connecticut, after being gone 20 years.Childhood memories are like that , I am told. I searched and searched - but it was my fault that I did not find it, because I remembered it as "A Wedding Bakery Town" and of course there was nothing there. But this time, When I asked for "A Wedding in Bakery Town " and browsed down a few pages from the top hit, "A Wedding in Pastry Town" Appeared.

I love how they decided to get marry after only meeting for 2 minutes

God this was so sugar-coated I think it gave me diabetes. Seriously, besides the bee, there was no conflict at all in this. Just boy saves girl, gets hitched. All in all, I still enjoyed watching this, trips back to the past like this are always such a gem.

These toons were shown in the Fargo/Moorhead area,from the time tv started up back there after ww2, to around1 965,then were yanked.

There's also the original titles for "Pastry Town Wedding" finally exists courtesy of Steve Stanchfield. This cartoon was also co-produced by Ted Eshbaugh. This version was technically part of "Rainbow Parade", but not sure if this was considered the first in the series of cartoons for Van Beuren in the "Rainbow Parade" series. This was a later title from late 1935 and early to mid 1936 since it was "Technicolor" according to the end title, it was originally in Cinecolor.
