I think of that old chestnut of how the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. The rich get richer because they work at it and seize opportunities when they arise. A lot of them came from impoverished backgrounds and have no desire to return to that existence. The poor get poorer because they either don't try to improve their situation, just sigh and resign themselves to their fate, make bad decisions or have peers who keep dragging them down out of jealousy or the misery loves company syndrome. I knew a fellow who said, "I may be poor, but that doesn't mean I have to stay poor." He now runs a successful business and continues to move up. Poverty can be escaped from, all you have to do is decide that it will happen.

The one time in my life where wealth could've bought me security but I didn't have it is? Not leaving a healthy positive lifestyle in other to protect myself, and others, from other individuals that is slowly destroying our emotions and lifestyle patterns, in other to stop high blood pressure from occurring to any of us in the future. from high stress level from the wrong people that creating stupid reasons to make us struggle harder. in our life. especially when we know what we are doing in other to better our future, and lifestyle patterns. to Alux. whatever, you do. please, do not take this to personally I am not talking about you. or any of your people no, this is more about others, that is slowly holding us back from our golds from moving forward into a successful future. without being used by the wrong people.

The lineage/racial wealth gap is real, don't get fooled by the self help gurus. A black American with wealth is not the same as a white American with wealth because one comes from white privilege whereas the other comes from chattel slaves which is going to be a different outcome. The fact that you justify unfairness is absurd to me. I remember you said that people have always discriminated based on the color of your skin, gender, etc... as if it's a given or justifiable to be treated that way based on those things.
