The problem isn't European as much as it's white guys. Sports in the U.S. is very racist, and it starts early. Simple fact is that Jokic can score, he can play defense, and he can pass the ball. He is probably the best all-around player. Padding your stats and leading the league doesn't make you the best player. Putting up 60 on the worst team, but only 20 on the better teams then averaging 35 and declaring yourself the best? Well, yes, you are the greatest bottom feeder in the league. Look how many good teams LeWhiner ducked this season. Amazing how his foot hurts when playing a top 5 team, but is perfectly fine the next night against one of the worst 5 teams.

Nice video, keep it up! As someone who is from Serbia, basketball was always our national sport, since the 60s. We are just witnessing merging of different schools of basketball now, European and US, which makes sense because the sport is more global now. People will always have those negative knee-jerk reactions, but it is what it is, things change and evolve.

( I don't know anything about basketball, I randomly came across this video. ) The same thing happened in hockey about 50 years ago and the playing styles have merged. Its now really hard to tell any difference in the style of play between Swedes, Canadians, Russians, Americans, Finns, Czechs, ect ect.

The difference between Europe and the USA starts at the initial training of children. It was Kobie, who learned the basics of the game in Italy, who said he was practically ambidextrous because that was what his first coach taught and required. Besides, Europe is all about tactics and discipline of the game, in the USA it's about motor, strength and dunking as often as possible. However, there are as many points for a dunk as for a close-range throw against the backboard.

( I don't know anything about basketball, I randomly came across this video. ) The same thing happened in hockey about 50 years ago and the playing styles have merged. Its now really hard to tell any difference in the style of play between Swedes, Canadians, Russians, Americans, Finns, Czechs, ect ect.
