Hey josh and tyler, i know you guys will probably NEVER see this in the sea of comments, but, i just needed to say that, however long your break is, im still gonna be glad i found out about this band, its done so much, sometimes when im lonely and a bit depressed, i watch interviews and just random videos and vines of you guys, and when im really, really down, i pay more attention to the lyrics in the songs when i listen to them, i find out some of the meanings when im in a very depressed mood, which is kinda just- crazy, but, sometimes when you're at your lowest, you figure things out, ya know? Tyler and josh were put on this earth by whoever/whatever u believe in and they were given depression/anxiety for a reason, that reason was to create awareness about it and make a family that was strong, beautiful, understanding, and loving. I may never have that big of a purpose on this earth, but if I can support them and help this family grow, then damn, that's one amazing purpose to have.

I remember a week before I found this band, very distinctly I remember writing a poem about having nothing to grasp onto, that I was just slipping and falling and sinking without being able to hold onto anything to keep me afloat. I just felt pointless, empty, I didn't know who I was. I was sinking and everything was slipping from my grasp. I was misunderstood by everyone, but by most of all myself. misunderstood. a week later, I was asking a friend for help. he said here, listen to this. ride, the lyric video, music video wasn't even out. everything just cliqued (see what I did there, ehe ehe.. ok sorry). all I remember thinking was omfg I relate I relate I relate. the past 2 years have been the hardest yet. I might not have come out the other side without this band. I might still be the confused and lost person who believed they were completely and utterly alone. the person who believed there was no one in the entire world that could help. then I found this band, this family. and suddenly I wasn't alone. Dear Skeleton Clique, You all are amazing. I just joined the clique a few days ago and everyone was just so warm and welcoming. I think this is the best fandom that I’ve been in so far. The way that we would all die for Tyler and Josh without hesitation is unbelievable dedication. We’re all loving and accepting. I love this fandom so much that it hurts when something bad happens to one of you. I see comments constantly about how tøp saved their lives and I understand why. I know the power of music and tøp is the perfect representation of that. Whenever Tyler does the head thing, I just have to cry. That’s how my brain works. I remember the first time I heard of twenty one pilots I was in 7th grade being called names and crying when I got home cause I couldn't take it, I wouldn't tell my parents I told no one, I acted like I was fine, and then I heard anathema I remember this day cause it was so cold and it was also winter break so I kept that song on repeat forever that Christmas break. Now I'm going to be a freshman in college all of my other favorite bands I listened to at that hard time in life I somewhat let go of, sws, ptv, fir, etc. but I'm always holding on to twenty one pilots, and hoty I remember that was the first song I saw on TV my 8th grade year and I cried cause I knew they were going to make it, I knew they were going to help people with just music, and I'm so grateful they did, cause without them I am 100% sure I would not be here today with more of their merch than I need. I love this band because they really did save me, they really did something amazing, and I'm never going to forget how I felt when I first heard them. I remember too 😄 i heard their popular stuff like heathens and stressed out in 2016 and LOVED it. Tho, i never bothered checking out the artist and i still hate myself for it (didnt know both were tøp). One summer day, early this year, stressed out came into my recommendations on yt and i watched it. Then i just quickly checked out their channel and listend to one song; i think it was heavydirtysoul. A while after (days, weeks after, idk) i saw the music vid for heathens and i was like (WTH THIS IS AWESOME IVE SEEN THIS AND ITS THEM GRFUSJKFDRF) so basically they were my favourite band before i even knew them 😂 and well yeah. I dont have a long heartbreaking story of depression, tho all i remember from the first few months of 2017 was constant sadness and suicidal thoughts cause i had a horrible relationship with my mom, id cry every day from us fighting and getting angry and calling each other bitch and f off, and i felt she hated me, but i dont wanna call it depression cause im scared of getting attacked and im not 100% sure what to call it. Anyway we're fine now and well, this band just means alot to me cause whenever i felt like that id lock myself in my room and blast tøp. Thats my story 😊 Edit: im seventh grade
Chane Jordaan I've learned that even if you feel like your mom hates you she doesn't, unless she blatantly tells you she hates you, moms never really hate their kids they just dislike the way we act most times. What I've also learned is that there's always hope somewhere to be found, during this hard times I talked to no one I had only 4 main friends they all told me that I should talk to a counselor but I didn't so I kept to myself which I regret, it's always okay to talk to someone to get your thoughts out, they'll give you something to look forward too in life, I didn't think I was going to get to my senior a few times but now I'm studying criminal justice in college so I can be a social worker and a substance abuse counselor for teens and young adults, you're going to make it and make something of yourself, cause everyone you have ,even if it's just 2 people, will always have their opinion but will almost always have your back. Finally. I never tell anyone why I like Josh's drumming so much. But it's real, his drumming feels like my heart beat. Whenever I was having an anxiety attack I would listen to tøp and his drumming would calm me down. They're music would calm me down in general.
I will always have a warm spot in my heart for this era so many good things for the band I wish I could go back for a day
