Also, I love Roger as a pro tennis player but I might just love him even more as a business man. Most of the things he designs/works with are extremely elegant and classy! Basic done extremely right with the quality in mind. I really do enjoy his products.

  • Nice interview! Hi from Australia. I have a RF97A red and black one, which I love. And also an RF97A Black one. Funny having different looking racquets that are exactly the same. Will get another one when one of these wears out. I like the racquet as it is heavy, but not in the head, but the handle, so you can still swing fast, but when it hits the ball really has weight behind it.

    • Still feel a 95 inch version of the RF97A would be the perfect stick, many of us Willy fans Iove the spin and higher sweet spot location of the RF97A but want the PS95 maneuverability in general at the same specs as the RF97A.

  • This is probably the best frame i have ever played with. I have the V12 and the blue laver cup (my pick out of the two) with gut / prince tour XT cross (57/54 lbs) and prince multi/ tour XT cross (55/53 lbs). I tried demoing one with full poly (cyclone) at 55 lbs and didn't like it honestly. Too stiff. Definitely felt better with a softer poly at lower tension. Thanks Roger for everything.

  • Love the RF97 series but still would prefer a thinner beam width more like 20mm. Seems to be a big jump going from the previous 17mm in the 6.0 85 and Tour 90/Six.One 90 series to the RF97 21.5mm beam.

    @Cynnik911@Cynnik9113 жыл бұрын
    • Completely agree, rackets such as the Pro Staff or the Yonex Percept should have a box beam of 20 mm or less and not more. Yonex Percept has a beam width of 21 mm which is too thick for my liking. The Previous Vcore Pro 97 Matte Green had a 20 mm beam which felt so good.

  • Roger has 3 months more to return! Not too long, time will fly! Praying that he comes back, and wins AO2021, and Rafa looses at the French Open finals, by Thiem, to keep Roger's record safe!

    @pauljohnson6019@pauljohnson60193 жыл бұрын
    • If Rafa wins the Roland Garros this year, then he will tie with Roger in overall GS titles. Either Novak or Dominic are the only players that have a better shot at stopping Rafa from winning another Roland Garros title. And YES! Roger is gonna have to win atleast AO, Wimbledon & US Open 2021 in order to create that gap between Rafa & Novak. Roger 2021 has to really go all out.

      @ralki15@ralki153 жыл бұрын
    • @@ralki15 I think Roger has some mystic powers, when Thiem looked out, at U.S. Open, he somehow found a way, to win it, and when he looked in trouble again, today, he found a way to win playing badly, he must have channelled Thiem's inner chakras, to give him that self belief to go further here, maybe destiny again, that he will reach a finals for a 3rd time, and beat Nadal and Djokovic!

  • Do you guys think that the new pro staff is a better option than the pure drive 2021?

    @frankwang7068@frankwang70683 жыл бұрын
    • if you like spin go for the pure drive, if you wanna kill the rallies in 2 shots go for prostaff. However, take into consideration that pure drive is lighter than pro staff rf, and it is 4 HL as compared to prostaff 12 HL

      @HuyNguyen-kd5vz@HuyNguyen-kd5vz3 жыл бұрын
    • They're at opposite ends of the spectrum and shouldn't be in the same conversation! If you're the kind of player that likes a Pure Drive then the Wilson equivalent is the Ultra. The PS is a control racket and you need technique and ability for it to shine.

      @6064jkr@6064jkr3 жыл бұрын
    • Honestly get the Yonex ezone tour it's going to be more in the middle and QC will be higher.

      @jaysean9589@jaysean95893 жыл бұрын
    • @@jaysean9589 all this nonsense about Wilson QC. The best player in the history of the sport uses the rackets they produce, like their QC isn't some of the best! A +-5g variation on manufacture is standard. If you're in doubt go and talk to your local stockist that sells hundreds of rackets a year. Head have the same tolerances, as do most manufacturers. I wouldn't be surprised if Yonex do have a tighter tolerance, that would be very Japanese of them, but it doesn't make their rackets better.

      @6064jkr@6064jkr3 жыл бұрын
    • @007 Z no I'm saying that people whine about wilsons QC because two frames may be 3g or 4g different, but in reality that's a normal tolerance for most of the manufacturers.
