Tbh, old bendys model fits the description of “first attempt with the ink machine” a lot more, Joey himself said it was a failed first attempt with no soul, and the fact that he looks a bit human with a few uncanny features just works

The funny thing from the game lore and time loop, one could say with the early models of Bendy, that they were just early forms of Bendy who kept evolving with each cycle, gaining a better body to hunt down Henry and the others
Huh that same thought can go with how the studio changed over the years too, like the domain itself developed with each cycle.....So in a sense, the early builds of the game can be considered loops that ended early

Looking at the Dark Revival Ink Demon, there's sort of a Hulk-ish dynamic here. He's stuck as Bendy so long as he's calm or suppressed but becomes the Ink Demon under stress or free from the effects of the beacons.
the only thing i don't like about it is when he opens his mouth, i think they should just have his mouth closed, and i wished he roamed around instead of teleporting wherever Audrey is.
@@music_lover1239 We don’t really see him open his mouth much other than eating and roaring and I do think the active roaming would have added an excellent fear factor than just a screen pop-up to spell out the urgency of the threat.

It was a shame the ink demon didn't wander around when he spawns in BATDR he only ever walks to you at one part in the game but he doesn't start fully running and it is scripted to happen so that was kind of a missopportunity in my opinion.

That was the reason it was changed. He moved slow asf during Ink Machine Chapter 3, do you really wanna sit in a hiding spot of 10 minutes and wait for him to just leave the area? Having him give you a warning and then killing you if you don't hide lets you get right back to playing the game instead of waiting forever for him to walk by, then getting to play the game again.

@@sfmisfornerds They still could have fixed that and have had him walk around the map, like maybe after hiding he'll look around for a couple of seconds before running off if he doesn't spot you again, granted the map wasn't really built around that so I suppose it still wouldn't work but it would have felt a lot scarier.

I’m glad that they made Beast Bendy playable in BATDR, it’s a fresh idea, and personally I think it’s better than making Beast Bendy as the final boss in Audrey’s story, since we already had the Shipahoy Dudley
I sort of agree. I think that it was very creative to have the final boss be playable, but some of it felt really cheesy and silly. Like when Audrey suddenly gets the ability to take over the actual devil himself through sheer determination alone just because Joey, whom she only met that same day, died to him. Also when Allison, Tom, Sammy, and Henry came in, it felt really silly and completely took away the tension of the moment. I still like Henry's fight better because it's just him and Bendy. It's a golden, cinematic showdown between a man and his greatest creation as well as his greatest failure. Audrey's fight COULD have been a showdown between a broken woman and her dark origins, overcoming a past that she didn't know she had, but instead it went down the "power of friendship" path. Another thing is that Bendy and the Ink Machine takes place over the course of a week at a minimum. It's unknown how long Henry stayed in Boris's safehouse for and how long Tom and Allison held him in captivity, but there is reason to believe that days, maybe even weeks have passed. Months might be stretching it a bit, but the point is, Henry spent time down in the Studio before facing Bendy, so it felt all the more cinematic because of that. Audrey's adventure takes place not just in one day, but in a few hours. So the final fight doesn't feel anywhere close to as cool because of that. It's not the same. So, overall I halfway agree. There is no question that it was very creative of theMeatly and the rest of JDS to make the final fight the way they made it, but it wasn't executed perfectly. I just hope The Cage doesn't repeat that same mistake.
Yeah that and batim beast Bendy could just sonic the hedgehog through halls and run into walls and teleport. Meanwhile Beast Bendy in batdr moves very slow and gallops like a horse with only three attacks

I like for dark revival, not only is there a variety of kill animations, some of them wait for you to move first, putting you In a false sense of security, then the kill happens, which is a nice twist that was put in.

The difference between Bendy vs Projectionnist and Bendy vs Shipahoy is stunning. I mean, when i saw the first one i was like "oh, that's pretty cool, he seems pretty powerful" but then when he was against Shipahoy i just- like- held my breath. This boss was much more powerful than the projectionnist, bigger, more terrifying and Bendy just destroyed him in two seconds.
I think the Ink Demon wasn't at its fully potential, yes he did obliterate Projectionist with small struggle. But he was pretty weak, if he was in his current form. It will take one punch for Projectionist to get demolished to ashes. Yet, the Ink Demon's potential won't stop there.
I honestly hated how the ink demon kinda just killed you if you are out in the open, I would have much preferred it how it was in bendy and the ink machine because the new model is so scary but the fact you only get to see it in cutscenes rather than it chasing you is a shame, like literally they could still have the death animations but instead make him actually chase you
I think if you just barely make it to a hiding spot before the Ink Demon appears, you can see his shadow looming over Audrey's shoulder. It at least gives the implication that he's closing in on you. I haven't played this game, so correct me if I'm wrong.

Not gonna lie, Ink Demon Bendy went from being kinda weird, to creepy, to terrifying in a few years
v.1.3.0 is my favorite, he looks like an actual failed attempt at creating Bendy, and I loved how his run cycle had 3 different animations that switched at random, so there was more variety to his run. The new models don't at all look like failed attempts, they look like someone deliberately made them like that, because theirs no way things like spikey spines or rib cages were part of the design Also I hate how on mobile instead of walls around Bendy being inky, your screen just gets more ink covered the closer he gets, the ink just completely covers your screen and blinds you by the time Bendy is 10 feet away.

Well in the audio logs of BATDR, they deliberately say that the keepers tortured him trying to kill him and couldn't do it and it therefore just made him more demon-like and less like the original failed experiment

I was so excited for this game to drop, and the gameplay was amazing, but I couldn't help but be slightly disappointed with the ending. I don't exactly know what I expected from this game ending-wise, but it definitely wasn't Audrey and the Ink Demon merging into a giant, inky, bodybuilder and rampaging through a sea of lost souls. It just felt a little silly, and not really horror-themed. Great game, otherwise 😄
What I think would make the final scene scarier is if Audrey got “kicked out” of the beast after taking enough hits from lost ones and you need to survive and weaken the ink demon enough to merge back with him, that would be suspenseful but probably hard to program. The current ending was awesome gameplay wise and lore wise but not horror wise

3:07 I just realized how much better this particular chase sequence would be if Bendy's AI were smarter. If his AI were able to recognize when you are running loops between the railings to gain distance from him, he would stop and change direction to cut you off, blocking the stairs entirely. But that would be unfair to the player, given how slow your run speed is and how clunky the first game is overall. It's a cool idea, though.

3:59. This part makes me wonder about the true identity of The Ink Demon. Is it possible that it is a clone of Bendy’s anger at being discarded and it’s gone out of control? Also, because the ink demon saved us from the searcher, and we know from BATDR that Bendy is The Ink Demon, could this scene be a sign that the REAL bendy is trying to resist it’s power? Also keep in mind that The Ink Demon saves us from that one boss in BATDR. I just feel like there are a lot of different possible outcomes with this concept.
An interesting theory, that is, Bendy is trying to control the ink demon and at this moment he kind of protected his true creator? (Henry. He painted it originally, right?)
Your theory is actually mostly true bendy actually wasn't evil at first but Joey was unhappy with how he turned out so Joey trapped bendy in the ink world studio thing were he went insane from abandonment and basically turned into an emotionless animal and henry also seeing him as a monster was the final straw but bendy still has some moments were he has more control of himself but for most of the games he's basically an animal who doesn't think and only kills and in chapter five he fully breaks and that's why he turned into beast bendy and in between the events of batim and batdr he developed a sort of split personality disorder of sorts in which he switched from what he was before being trapped in the studio and being able to control himself and his anger when he's in cartoon form to a more sadistic and evil version of what he turned into when he's in ink demon form, probably by being experimented on by wilson

It's interesting what Bendy says to Audrey before they fuse, he says to her what we learned about him in the first game. Bendy projects his own insecurities on Audrey to make her join him, then mimicking the gesture she did when they first met.

I know people kinda hate on Beast Bendy's design, but i kinda like it. Bendy is at the point where hes no fucking around and isnt even trying to be scary. He's literally so pissed that he just wants to kill Henry. He gets larger teeth and hands, not because it's scary, but because he wants him dead and he wants him dead now.
Gameplay wise, Ch3 bendy was the best bendy. Visually, BATDR bendy is the best bendy. Horror factor wise, bird poop bendy was the best. And Jumpscare, I think I prefer BATDS.
I felt really sad when the projectionist didn’t return in bendy and the dark revival! I was hoping for an updated fight scene if he came back! But at least they brought Sammy back! Oh wait my other favourite character dies to! :(

Two things I want to say: 1. When Bendy "chases" you he is really slow and it doesn't really feel like your in danger and it only happens once 2. Bendy needs a mint his breath stinks and he just breaths in your face before becoming Beast Bendy with Audrey
