Ferrari 296 GTB in Japan | Yutaka Yamagishi (Subtitles | JP.EN.IT.DE)
The Ferrari 296 GTB is the first Ferrari road car to feature the new V6 engine combined with rear-wheel drive plug-in hybrid architecture. The design is reminiscent of the Ferrari 250 LM, the overall winner at Le Mans, and the combination with the latest aerodynamics results in a stunning styling.
The Ferrari 296 GTB features a plug-in (PHEV) hybrid architecture. The electric motor communicates with the internal combustion engine via a new TMA actuator to deliver a category-leading maximum power output of 830cv. Instantaneous throttle response is obtained for fan-to-drive performance. With electric drive in eDrive mode, the car can reach 135 km/h without the help of an internal combustion engine. The new engine's 120° bank angle allows the turbo to be mounted in the upper center of the engine, reducing the overall dimensions of the unit and improving fluid dynamics and optimization to maximize the efficiency of the intake and exhaust line ducts. The engine sound harmoniously combines two normally opposite characteristics: the power of the turbo and the harmony of the high-frequency notes of the naturally aspirated V12. This Ferrari soundtrack doubles the pleasure of controlling the car in the cockpit along with its performance. The 50mm shorter wheelbase and monolithic appearance make this the most compact Maranello Berlinetta of the last decade.

The sophisticated design is perfect for sports driving.👍
Japan car scene is on the rise, I hope to live there someday.
Ferrari 250 LM!!! You’ve a great taste Yutaka, when it comes to cars! My favorite Ferrari is 275 GTB.
I also think the styling of the 275GTB is extremely beautiful.👍
2nd video in 2 weeks? INSTANT LIKE 👍
296 is a perfect blend of performance & style
I think that's right.
Gorgeous new ferrari model 🇮🇹 V6 ❤️
It's an elegant and exciting V6 Ferrari.
This is art ❤️
I think so.👍
very nice this is art 🧡
I totally agree, such an easy driving car should be provided to a big number of people eager to own a Ferrari. In their dreams only by the way...
Good one mate 😂
We hope that there will be sufficient supply of the 296GTB, as production delays have largely recovered.
0 to 60mph in 2.9 seconds is insanely quick ⚡
If the tires are not warmed up enough, wheelspin will occur.
I love how you showcase the cars in your videos. 😁
We're glad you enjoyed our videos.👍
Ferrari’s F1-inspired supercar 🤔 I think they did a pretty decent job with the design.
I think it's wonderful that even though it's a modern mid-engine Ferrari, it has a classic design motif.
When it comes to mid engine supercars, 296 will be hard to beat.
I think it's the pinnacle of mid-engine sports cars in this range.
SF90 is my favorite but 296 is a close second.
I'll be releasing an impression video of the SF90 after this, so please look forward to it.
@@YutakaYamagishiLooking forward to it.
this is definitely one of ferraris quickest rwd.
I think that's right.
Am I the only one thinking, it doesn’t look like Ferrari??
Modern Dino Baby V12
2:16 the side view resembling the early Ford Gt40 ???!!!
Ferrari is falling off slowly but surely, just look at Roma, they made zero efforts, just copied AM Vantage.
@@cp3364 Honestly, from "my" vantage point, when it comes to bodyshell styling several Ferraris are let's say barely enjoyable,to be fair. The fact being (in the specific 296 case) they penned it way too similar to the Gt40 which,by the way was a fierce competitor on the tracks back in the years. One of the most feared challengers amid Ferrari racing history ! That's almost unbelievable... isn't it ?
@@INDIGOBLUE555I totally agree with you, they gave Ferrari a run for their money.
@@INDIGOBLUE555and first time I saw Ferrari 296 GTB. First thought that came into my mind was how similar it looked to Ford GT.
It certainly looks similar.
Fun to drive ❌ Easy to drive ✔️
👍
What is the toughest part about competing in Le Mans?
This is different from other racing events in that it requires not only driving skills, but also the environment and timing. I think next year's Le Mans will be a very competitive race, but with so many manufacturers participating, it will be a development competition, so I don't know if it will be interesting or not.
يا ربي ارزقني اياها
Enzo would be crying in a grave lmfao
The looks and the engine are the two main reasons I would avoid this Ferrari.
Thank you for watching the video.
After the introduction of the turbo hybrid engines, Mercedes has been dominating the scene like no other.
German craftsmanship is amazing.
I love your videos Yutaka but this ferrari is not it man.
Thank you for watching the video.
Fun to drive Ferrari? 😂 As if other Ferrari’s aren’t fun Lol 😆
Exactly lol Lazy effort by FERRARI.
Of course, driving another Ferrari is a special experience, each with their own fun and exhilaration. I'm just talking about what I felt after driving the 296GTB.
japan's road is very flat!!! good!
I can’t get enough, every time I see it.
We're glad you enjoyed our videos.
