Idea for a sims build challenge: Each the layout is randomize. You build a shell of a house and then spin to see what each room is.(bathroom, bedroom, kitchen etc.) What could have been a planned bathroom might end up being the kitchen.

This looks like a couple that got a good promotion and is steadily upgrading their house but has questionable priorities. Made sense to start with the entryway and landing, since it's what people first see, but I guess they care more for nice bathing over cooking (me).

A challenge I'd like to see you do is to recreate the 'fake' houses that are in debug. You could place one on a lot and then in the lot next to it, recreate the outside of the house as close to exact as possible then do the floorplan and decorating how you would want it. Everytime I go into debug and see those houses I think, "I'd love to see Kayla recreate these."

you should do this challenge again, but competing with another simmer. you both have the same shell, and you each spin your own numbers for each room, but if you finish a room with money left over, you write that amount down. when you’re done, you total all of your leftover money and the other person gets to use that amount wherever they want in their house to make it better. then we vote on a house!!
Challenge Idea: Build a MASSIVE box that fits the lot size and turn that into a home! You can't put a hole inside the box, so landscaping has to be inside.

The expensive bathroom could've been such a cute little princess bedroom. Like in that window there could've been a sofa or something like the thing Sofia the first had in her room. I guess it had to be bigger to really have princess vibes
A slightly less difficult addendum to this challenge could be that you spin for budgets for how many rooms you have and then assign the budgets to a room. Like say you need to furnish the outside, a kitchen, a bedroom, a bathroom, and a living space. Spin and generate 5 different budgets and assign one of them to each of the rooms. It’s a little less random and a little less challenging but could still be fun!

She should do a challenge that for every room you have to use at least one iten from the room's category. Example: Kitchen: at least one cabinet, at least one tupperware thing, at least one counter, at least one barstool, etc. Like if you think so too
Let's start with a small shell! [immediately builds a huge 2 story that basically fills the entire lot]
Build challenge idea: Barn to house conversion as seen on fixer upper. You basically get a barn off of the gallery and have to convert it to a home with a limited budget as well as it being a shell challenge. You can add porches, change the roof, layout, landscape, etc. But its the same as a shell challenge where you can't change the shell. Probably make the style pretty rustic for the home as well.
This challenge combined with fixer upper to give you Reno budgets for each room would be awesome

Challenge Idea: Build a house but with each room you have a different length of time to build the walls, place doors/ windows and decorate it. Use an online number generator to make it random from numbers 20 - 600 (each number can represent seconds so if you get 20 that means 20 seconds or 600 means 10 minutes etc). You will also need to convert seconds to minutes on google... So one room you might have 5 minutes to complete everything but another, you only have 30 seconds!

Video idea: every room is a different size (obvi) but what I mean is that you spin the wheel for the size of every room like for eg. you could get a 3x2 bedroom and a 10x8 bathroom

What is a cheaper living room? I like what she did and I might incorporate that but for a Rags2Riches type of build where you start from nothing, what are some other living room ideas? When she got her budget, I was definitely thinking she could do a fireplace rather than a tv but could you turn that space into an office-type space? There is that little nook area by the window so maybe you have a Sitting Room/ Lounge area with the main desk in the nook?
You can do a challenge like "Building in The Sims 4 but wheel decide where will be this room". It will be like this that you build a house and than you spin the wheel for example on a coridore and wheel says that you need to build there kitchen !! I think this will be so much fun. If you like the idea, leave a like for her to see 👍 P. S. Sorry if in this text i made some mistakes, im still learning.
this house reminds me of so many buildings I've seen where they've started construction and then had to move in but ran out of the money so they have like a super nice entrance and then a balcony above it which is just plain concrete and no railings

I would love to see you do a randomly generated budget for the entire house that’s realistic. So it’s like someone who has to make all the decisions on where to spend their their money. Also to make it more realistic and challenging if you buy something you have to keep/use it you can’t just sell it back because in real life you’d never recover your money.

I actually think it’s kinda nice! It looks like a family just bought it and have only unpacked the necessities-it would be great on the gallery for someone who wants a nice house but wants to finish furnishing it themselves.
I loved the other simmers playing this challenge but Kaylas are so fun and interesting to watch because i love her build style !!!
idea: you spin the wheel for the number of tiles, so if you get three it's a 3x3 room or something like that - so imagine you might spin a huge hallway and then a 2x2 bedroom or something. i think it would be hilarious

You should do a random size challenge. Put 1x1 through 7x7 on a wheel. Bonus challenge if you assign the room before you spin.

this is a great idea! if you want to do it again in the future, here are 2 ideas i have: keep track of how much money you have left over in each room and make yourself furnish the last room or landscape the outside with it, or somehow penalize yourself, e.g. for every 5 § you have left take away one item etc

This house gives me vibes of someone rich but they don't want to show off to much and spend money, but when they invite someone, they want to make good impression and that are the entryway, the hallway and dining room XD
Same challenge BUT you roll THEN choose where the budget goes. It makes it interesting that you would point your initial budget to a certain room without knowing how much you'll get on remaining rooms.
It doesn't look that bad Kayla. You can put it out on the gallery as a starter home and then people can do with whatever they want with it. You can have it as a fixer-upper home. It's fun to fix other people's builds.

build challenge: item names for each room have to start with the same letter! ie: kitchen items all have to start with B, bedroom items all have to start with R... could push the limits of saying that at least one word in the item name has to start with the chosen letter, even if it's not the first word!

Challenge idea: Can you turn an EA build into a tiny home, only using the furniture and layout it currently has. i.e. a bedroom needs to stay as a bedroom, living room/kitchen needs to stay, but how small can you make it with the same furniture.

Please do something like this but with a different number of items per room, so you use a random number generator and the number you get is the amount of items you can use. It's all fun and games until you have to use 30ish items in a bathroom! I believe Vixella did this some time ago.
You should do the same challenge again, but generate a random number first for how many walls you can build, then spin for windows/doors/stairs/, and so on.
Challenge idea: build a house. Furnish the house with 1000 simoleons per room. Then furnish the same house with 10,000 simoleons per room.
