Alexa is amazing and I can't wait to see her develop further, but Valentina is one of the greatest MMA fighters of all time, of either sex. Barring Valentina slowing down with age, I wouldn't be surprised if she just doesn't lose to any of these ladies.

Surprised that Valentina doesn't fight once every month. She could literally break title defenses record. Fun to watch Alexa, but unless she has a Julianna Pena/Matt Sera moment, it won't be good...

But she'd have no one to fight. You don't see girls she has beaten ask for a rematch, Chookagian has a fine streak, but doesn't mention Valentina's name. Andrade could have a rematch quite easily I reckon, seeing what she did to Chook and Calvillo, instead she's going back down to the Rose Joanna Weili shark pool. Joanne Wood HAD the title fight and decide to fight in between instead (which is crazy, has it ever happened before or after ?) because she knew she had no chance... I thought Andrade had a small chance, maybe Taila has a small chance... Grasso I don't see it at all.
@@AntoineFabri There are still plenty of fighters Valentina could beat to make an easy 20 title defense record because everyone is levels below here. Also, Valentina should move down to 115 and beat Rose and then move up to 135 again to become a 3 division champion. She can make 115 because her walk around weight is around 137 pounds...
@@alcottdevalte7440 she likes Rose and she has already beaten very convincingly Andrade and Joanna, Weili will go up at some point and Valentina will have beaten 3 125 champions, no need to go down. If she did she would not stay for long and it would be bad business since it would make the division look bad.
@@AntoineFabri There's really no friendship in combat sports. 90% of the sparring partners end up fighting each other anyway. Valentina needs to focus about legendary legacy and becoming the first 3 division champion in MMA. That's what I would have told her if I knew her. She could vacate the 115 belt after winning it... And it's not like Valentina and Rose spend time together other than meeting in a gym maybe once every few years .
Dehydration definitely isn't good, but Idk where she read about the heat thing. Saunas are great for you, in moderation of course. Maybe she's just talking about not using the sauna to cut weight for super long periods.. She's such a cute chick.

She has great potential that is no doubt but I don’t think she’s ready for Val. However, the flyweight division is kind of a mess right now so she might just get the title shot sooner. Joanne is kind of washed at this point so a win against her is okay, but I want to see her against the other title contenders
I feel like the lack of depth in women’s divisions makes it tough to get experience under your belt to eventually challenge AND beat the champion.

Why should Valentina? Shevchenko is a far better Striker then Grasso She normally takes her opponent down in the clinch, if they get to close. She will dominate her in every aspect in the fight.

I love Alexa but not yet. I wish she gets faster/quicker. Her boxing fundamentals are great , it’s the kicks and traditional Muay Thai skills of Valentina that has opponents guessing as she’s already beat the Top 5 of flyweight (insane). Really the only ones who have a decent chance is Alexa and Fiorot.

I love Alexa Grasso but for her to go up against Valentina is not something you just train hard for. I mean Valentina has a sister that she trains with and they train MMA everyday morning, noon, and night. To the Shevchenko sisters fighting is just like eating food, drinking water, and breathing air they do it the moment they wake up till it's time to go to sleep. If Alexa wants to go up against Valentina she's going to need a partner to train with morning noon and night. I mean a pared as close to her as a sister. cause that's the difference here with Valentina Shevchenko. Valentina is married to fighting. That's just a huge advantage over the rest of the female roster. I love Alexa but I don't think she's at that level just yet. She could be, but she has to be married to fighting like how Shevchenko sisters are to fighting.
