3:20 Imagine being behind this guy driving. "Just be patient guys. I got this!"
Aren’t there heavier trailers? Because the longer the “thing”, the less the trailers weight for the truck. The trailers are still in a flat surface when the truck already passed the mountain, so they barely affect the weight.
😱😱
there's a mod I know of that had a trailer with adjustable weight but it messes up the suspension
It matters if it gets to the top
There's a mod for the flatbed trailer to have 1, 2 or 3 20t steel loads. You can also add a dolly with a tow hitch and *try* to tow it with a Covet if you wish
it still has to haul them on flat ground while others are on the hill then they get to go up the hill. stupid
the whole time i was saying "come on t350 turbo! u can do it!"
11:00 - I think the GUI speedometer broke a little bit...
The funny thing is beamng has rarely had any bugs but that’s like the only bug I’ve had so far
I had that aswell once when a car crashed with extreme amounts of speed and it causes the instability error. After I reset the car I had - infinity aswell lol
Or the glitch where when you destroyed a tire a big black wall appears
@@parkergray5346 that's a classic. Glad that's fixed now
Yes
The more trailers you add after about 4 doesn’t really matter because once the truck is over the hill gravity does the rest
@SonsyWhale but gravity still helps a lottt once the truck starts down the hill.
Nice understanding
It should have been multiple cola trailers after like two/three 5 tonners, I would imagine there must be a dolly for beam somewhere, because with the 25+5+5+5+5+... config the hill is not long enough, so when you get the first trailer to the top you are set.
This is exactly what I came here to say. It could pull 1000 tonnes. As long as it can roll them while flat it can pull any amount of small trailers up the hill.
@SonsyWhale he is not pulling the trailers uphill as it should for a real test. The proper way to do it is to have all the trailers on the Incline simultaneously. This way the resistance actually increases with every additional weight. Reaching top while some trailers are still at the bottom and calling it a win is cheating. Like Ford did with its electric pickup when they showed it towing 1000 tonnes of train cars.
-"So, how much torque do your truck need, sir?" -"Yes"
There are factory new trucks coming out with 750 hp ..... XD and with 2581 ft lb or 3500nm...
12:06 Love how the last trailer decided to make it harder by tipping over lol
Could of hauled more if you changed the diff gearing and used a chassis with two rear axels
That's what I was thinking
And a manual trans so he wasn’t just blowing through the converter
this dude is always making the vehicles the worst forms for the video like he should've gone for at least a 3.9 rear end for this video
I feel like 3:00 could've made it if it had a manual transmission. With automatic transmissions, there is basically always slip unless you're in a 1:1 gear. Also, it was in 2nd gear while it was doing that; it never upshifted into 1st while in Drive mode. At least manually putting into 1st gear probably would've made it possible.
Use the manual transmission ffs. At 4:16 you can clearly see, the power is not getting to the wheels, you have 300hp at the flywheel and 40hp at the wheel
Dude its in 1st gear
@@yoson8525 Dude, I don't know how realistic this game is, but irl the automatic transmission would slip like mad (like it did here), and thus very little power actually gets to the wheel. I tend to believe the physics of the game are good enough so that a manual would help.
@@MrRobot-ry7ky automatics in beamng do not slip until some weird inertia limit that kinde breaks them. Anyway, its past 5000hp so they dont slip without mods.
@@yoson8525 It's in 2nd gear, there was a gear change just after the truck started accelerating (at 11 MPH) and just before starting going up the hill. The automatic transmission changes smoothly and it barely gets noticeable! edit: I checked the app afterwards and the gearbox did downshift to 1st! It seems that the gearbox is so smooth I didn't even notice the downshift!
If it was a manual, you would just stall the engine.
8:47 - Got Torque?
The T350 Turbocharger test @3:05 was painfully slow but the TCX made it up the 1-in-3 hill! Slow but steady! Amazing!
You've just introduced your viewer base to the Aussie road trains. Absolute beasts
I think that for these types of pulling tests to be valid the rear differential ratio MUST be similar to what's used in real trucks! I.E. 4.56:1 4.10:1 3.73:1 3.55:1 only with lower tranny gears
If you're going to use an automatic, at least lock it in M1 or M2, those first few attempts I think would've made it in 1st but you were in at least second, think I only heard one shift
Look at the gear indicator on the panel to the left, it always downshifts to first.
@@ziggybowman6875 did it? I was certain it shifted up and then stayed in 2nd....now I gotta rewatch 😂
This Gavril TCX Can Literally haul a train!
The truck has so much torque the chassis is twisting itself apart the detail on the game is amazing
Gavril Pewdiepie Guy 1: ‘s that a turbo? Guy 2: yeah. Guy 1: yeah, right.
Testifies of the power of diesel! Albeit it’s a simulation, it’s crazy to think how much the semi pulls! And trains can do even more!
peterbilt: ugh this trailer is soooo heavy! T-series: hold my beers
I love your vids. Keep up the good work!
Try twin charging for moh powah
Its really torque that ya want
All the hrsprs
Add on another 100tons, it sits on a flat surface. Nice video, lol at the comment about your PC. BTW, good luck driving this road train out of this track👍
You do know there is a 2 stroke diesel mod for this truck right?
7:21 it was at this moment that he knew he f#cked up 🤣🤣
trans temp would have been verrrrrrrryyyy interesting to see
3:40 that has to be the slowest hill climb ever!
thanks for making this video, thats all that needs to be said.
cant wait for this game to incorporate diesel/electric hybrids like in mining equipment or even straight electric
Could also try this test again with a 4x6 chassis.
If you go for the 3.55 diff ratio, get the 18 speed road ranger, T600 turbo. You could tow 60 tons on one trailer up that hill. i use the fifth wheel dolly mod to allow for a B trailer config. And just got a mod recently that allows to modify the flatbed loads for a 50 ton excavator + 10 tons of concrete barriers.
That yellow motor was out there Eatin good
You could’ve started replacing the beamng trailers with more of the soda ones since they weigh more to save your pc
Forgotten Mustard make Australian Truck Simulator in BeamNG Drive :D. Nice video :D
Wouldn’t it be harder putting things inside the trailer like the cubes that can weigh up to 100 tons?
I'm kinda confused why he added a 5th 5 ton trailer because he could have instead remove all those previous 4 trailers and replaced it with a second 25 ton Tasti cola trailer to reduce lag.
10:54 look at speedometer
hey man i like how you are testing beamng physics +1 subscriber
This game looks fun
Good one "sub4sub" 😂
BeamNG drive is the best Vehicle simulator game for money, you can just drive, top speed run, police chase, etc.
But it requires a powerful PC or laptop with Intel core i7/AMD Ryzen 7 and Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 or higher specs
@@William_35 but did you buy Automation as a companion? I went 2 yrs, well I've had Beam for 2yrs, and remember Automation being said to work as a team, just bought it last week...I spend hours building a car and then get to export it to Beam and drive it.
Is the vehicle tuning back? When I played this game back then it was missing.
4:02 that poor torque converter mannn. 🤣
His pc sounded just like the truck: screeching in pain
would it have made more sense to use a semi with two rear drive alxes not 1?
If you had an extreme hauling mod you’d be pulling like 14 trailers
Now this will be also known as "The Roadtrain"
Today we will be testing If there is anything that can Stop a 10.9L diesel..... First try 12 Tons: well hello there ....
Needs a bigger hill to pull up
where do you get all the engine add ons from?
I’ll say this…find you a woman who loves you like a Diesel engine loves boost, and you’ll be happy.
Helps if your not using a automatic gearbox like when you put like 2000 pounds in the back of a small truck and for some reason chose the 3 speed auto in a less than 50 hp engine
U should add a 2nd drive axle and coolant temps
You still used a automatic 😐 use a manual so this engine doesn't sit there and barely move it would actually be a "motor" test this is just a damn torque converter stall test
you should try doing a lot of torque but no hp v.s. a lot of hp but no torque pulling compilation
and speed comparison
The problem is starting in first gear with low torque. You need a crawl gear for it to go up that hill, or build up speed before the hill
A lot of hp wins, since gear ratio
I just noticed this is the same hill that Hammond's Dolly Sprint rolled down
Hmm, sounds like an ole 855 big cam at idle. Old IH eagle 9400
You should’ve put the tasti cola trailers instead because they can be way heavier and you can choose how much cola in in them
Please, manual gearbox
The manual would burn the clutch almost immediately in such a test! An automatic transmission has zero risk of burning the clutch and it also offers more linear control of the power application!
@@rayboccino5174 i don't agree! Manual clutch and 1 low is super slow, with all the power and torque
And the clutch is prepare for that! In automatic transmission hot oil lubricant..
Keep doing the t series
MANUEL MANUAL !!!!!!!
raw straight outta Mumbai power.
idk why you didnt just grab a truck with a second axle to help with the grip
2nd axle would be off the ground at the top of the hill, so it's not too useful.
@@ForgottenMustard u should have got atleast the manual with 12 speeds or even more...
Forgotten Mustard you do know semi’s have interaxel and diff locks in the real world making them drive all 8 wheels, right? (Reference actual truck driver)
@@rafapereira129 The clutch would've been burnt during such a test!
How to set up the Turbo???????
I think sound of engine should increase when climbing instead of decreasing, am I right ?
The speedometer didn't understand what was happening on the last one
How is it possible that ur t300 turbo makes 24 psi?
how to connect this trailers more than one?
funny fact the powered wheels are just going to floor like nuts
Yikes the Kenworth T600 I drive would handle that alright.
do the test in the map north barstow state. there even the t650 will struggle with 25 tons.
Please, Truck braking test on steep downhill roads
10.6 l isn't that much, usually in europe we use motor of 13 l or maybe 16l
Can you run over a whole group of parked motorcycles? Like Smokey and the Bandit?
What is that dyno app called
what map is this
how is the name of the map
what map is it?
You could have raised your 5th wheel instead of removing the trailer legs
What is your pc specs??
Instead of 5 ton trailers, why not use other T series trucks, or just make the TastiCola trailer heavier? A lot of the 5 ton trailers were on flat ground at the bottom.
What’s with the speedometer saying infinity?
what mod tells your the BHP
Not a mod. It's an ui app called engine dyno.
How do you get all of those stats like he has
I wanna know how to be able to do all this kind of stuff for myself because I have it on my PC and all that and normally I’m just messing around with cars but this looks cool
That thing is in second gear if it would be in first it would of hauled it all the way up
Ele tá subindo de segunda marcha aí dificulta mesmo
It was actually getting easier, after the 5th trailer. Because partly the mass on flat ground (roughly two trailers at least), was actually pushing you at the beginning. Newtons first law says, "Objects in motion tend to stay in motion, unless acted upon by an opposing force". Once they had momentum, they were essentially pushing you. This game actually follows real physics, when not pushed to extremes
How many cylinder is that engine?
6
Are american trucks only 10.6 liters?
Mrs Nezbit I don’t know why this one is here we have 13-17 liters engines as standerd in America
how did u change traction on jbeam?
By increasing the friction coefficient of the tires
@@ForgottenMustard but how? where?
Is that the Automation Test map?
yes
@@ForgottenMustard Thank you very much! Nice Video!
I downloading the game . Is this an add on?
Map?
map name mod?
11:16 whatdefok
Big rigs always win Edit: sorry if they are boosted to hell and back
YES MY END BEAMNG DRIVE TRUK TANKER 100000
Girls:I want something fast from rich man !!! Boys:I want the best truck for hauling 699tonnes (Sorry for bad English)
Negative infinity mph😂😂
If the TastyCola trailer had 60ton on its own, it would not make it
no amigo wtf
The last few tests were gravely inaccurate - use a larger hill.
How did you give the tires more grip?
Increase the friction coefficient
@@ForgottenMustard how do i do that?
