Can someone explain why Mateos jam with oop and possible backdoor flush while the opponent got many Ax which has a staright draw and leading his hand

Cause 99% of players with Ax would fold that wheel draw and mateos tried to force him out of the pot and didn't expect a call with A high

In a 50/50 you should always try to find as much fold equity as you can

he knows he's most probably 50/50, while the pot odds are better than that even if they call, plus there's fold equity.

I think the over bet shove line didn't make sense to Korsakas. If Mateos has a set he's probably not doing that. Mateos didn't raise pre-flop ruling out a lot of top pocket pairs. So top of his range is likely a low pair with a high kicker or a middle pocket pair. Does he jam there? Against a guy who raised pre-flop and could have him crushed? Seems way more likely he's sitting on a big draw in which case the call by Korsakas makes sense. And if he had the stones to make that shove with a one pair hand then Korsakas still has 8 outs and some backdoor flush hopes.
If it was me, he would have gotten two diamonds
