The Mosque is really near a Cathedral, if I'm not mistaken, the Cathedral is right in front of Istiqlal Mosque. When both big days arrive, those 2 religious place share their parking lot for each other. For example when Eids come and Muslims want to do Eid prayer, from what I know, the Cathedral would share their parking lot for the Muslims who want to go to Istiqlal Mosque. I read an article that basically says that Istiqlal Mosque would share the parking lot for Christian for the Christmas last December 2022. Correct me if I'm wrong.

tp syg masjid indonesia sudah byk tiru kubah2 ala2 arab-parsi, turki dan india-mughal, masjid agung palembang pun skrg sudah ditambah kubah dan menara pensil. sepertinya indonesia ga ada arisitektur sendiri atau malu dgn arisitektur sendri, lihat la, masjid menara kudus juga pun ditambah kubah depannya, mengapa ga bumbung tajug, joglo, limasan atau kampungan/lipat kajang/bubungan tinggi aja.

I am from Malaysia, the mosque near my town was also big, it was called Masjid An Nasriah, in the chinese town of Sitiawan, back in 2014 it was small but now it was big, i also went to a mosque in gua musang called "Masjid Tengku Ralgizegh" it was similar to Masjidil-Haram

@@Mohammed-uz1snhe probably used the word wrongly, because from what I know, the Istiqlal Mosque was designed by a Christian. The Mosque is really near a Cathedral, if I'm not mistaken, the Cathedral is right in front of Istiqlal Mosque. When both big days arrive, those 2 religious place share their parking lot for each other. For example when Eids come and Muslims want to do Eid prayer, from what I know, the Cathedral would share their parking lot for the Muslims who want to go to Istiqlal Mosque. I read an article that basically says that Istiqlal Mosque would share the parking lot for Christian for the Christmas last December 2022. Correct me if I'm wrong.

tp syg masjid indonesia sudah byk tiru kubah2 ala2 arab-parsi, turki dan india-mughal, masjid agung palembang pun skrg sudah ditambah kubah dan menara pensil. sepertinya indonesia ga ada arisitektur sendiri atau malu dgn arisitektur sendri, lihat la, masjid menara kudus juga pun ditambah kubah depannya, mengapa ga bumbung tajug, joglo, limasan atau kampungan/lipat kajang/bubungan tinggi aja.
