Hey Skip! The reason why the ender dragon shows only 3 rows of hearts is because minecraft java edition (maybe bedrock too) can only display 3 rows of saddle hearts. I don't know why this is, but I found it out in 1.15 while playing around with command blocks. This applies to any other entities, but they still have normal health.
In all my years of playing Minecraft, I never realized that the horse's hearts were saddles. That just blew my mind!

The thing with the Riptide Trident, shallow pools sends you higher because you have less resistance upon takeoff. Water compresses, so you have more resistance in deeper pools.
wow
That and your lower so the ascension doesn't carry you as high as the shallow water spots
The reason why the iron door doesn't have a handle when it's in your hand, it's because the classic texture used to be an iron door and it didn't have a handle even when placed so that's probably why
Number 21. It actually makes sense that the deep one is lower and the shallow one goes higher because, if its deep, you have to swim a little to launch so that slows down the player. But if its shallow, the player can get 100% momentum to launch. So yeah, it now makes sense
So deeper has more friction
@@BloodMoonWithAnRpg Basically simplifying it
Number 22.
Nice... cool 69 likes
It made sense the whole time, even without that, if it's shallower it's at a higher altitude so the end result is higher than the lower altitude when it's deeper
8:10 I think the shallow riptide thing might be like that because a waterlogged chest has you travel in water for less time than a full pool. My theory is that after launch, coming in contact with more water slows you down, and thus lowers your max height
Was coming to the comments for this exact thing, almost certainly the reason why. You can even test it by putting a water source block floating in the air and riptide through it, slows you down a good bit.
I was going to say that exact thing!
That's what I was going to comment about when I scrolled down.
This is correct, Steve seems to be more aero than hydrodynamic. Jokes aside, the least water you riptide through, the more of your initial speed burst you can keep. So when it's raining, you don't even need to touch a waterlogged block to launch yourself off from
Alright.
Maybe the bluestone dust 48:36 is a lore thing to the pillager mansion wool statue with a blue block inside its head?
If you activate the elytra before entering the water and make sure it’s still active as you use the trident, you can get a similar amount of height as the arrow method

About the throwing stuff out while holding the q-button, there is something better. 47:32 If you holf the q and the ctrl buttons at the same time, you can throw out the entire inventory slot. This helped me a lot in enderman farms. I would just have to open my inventory, hold q and ctrl, and then move my mouse over my inventory. Just be carefull not to accidently go over the slots where things are you dont want gone. A lot of my netherite swords have gone into the void this way...
I knew about the hold q and hold ctrl stuff like 3 years ago
That stuff is well known. There is a reason on why it it in the video. Just read the title…

An actual "useful" use of the enchantable armor stands is: Giving your armor stand Frost Walker Boots and then Piston+Slimeblock'ing it across some water. It's pretty fun, and a way to "super charge" an ice farm since ice updates are calculated from adjacent "solid" blocks.

Just make sure you don't accidentally drag your mouse across things you don't want to drop while holding shift+Q
Putting leads on boats is actually useful for carrying villagers up blocks

The reason a shallow pool is better than a deep pool for tridents is because the extra water will negate your speeed :)
That doesnt explain why your floating on top of deep water then use riptide and still your speed is less

#24 9:41 Oh my gosh, that opens up so much more lore into why the temples were designed like that in the first place. I've always wondered why they had that large area, and how it felt out of place. Now after seeing the beacon setup It makes me wonder if that was the intent all along.

Dragging a boat with a lead is very useful! You can move faster pulling the boat instead of paddling it, plus you can put 2 villagers (or any other mob(s)) into the boat and pull them along. Doubling the number of mobs you transport at once means half the number of transport trips, and half the time!

Having mending and unbreaking on flint and steel is actually really handy, best way to clear items and is good for quick nether portal setups

8:18 essentially, the deeper pool has more water slowing down your momentum, that's why the shallow one allows you to go higher.
Invisible armor would be crazy in servers with your friends, imagine challenging them to a no armor duel and you destroy them with that hack.
Last year on console for a day, everything glitched. All of the blocks looked like dirt with vines on them, and the armor was invisible. 😂😂 I’ll never forget it.

i think the reason of the "trident being slower in deeper water" is that the water slows your acceleration down when flying
59:42 its because granite has a higher consentration of quartz then diorite
56:56 about the endermen, in the minecraft-themed adventure time episode, finn survives after looking at an enderman because he stares it in the face for hours
Actually, baby piglins are pretty cool, in my opinion. If you just notice them beforehand, they'll pick up any item you drop and then never despawn, so you won't have other pesky mobs like ghasts and hoglins spawning.

The lead on a boat trick is actually handy for moving villagers 👍
1:02:00 I like to collect a bunch of pets when I play, so making a bunch of boats to hold all of them and pulling the boats along while I'm in another makes travel really easy :) (It works with gathering villagers too lol)
Can you make a website like a database that has every single command you use and all of your cool features? Thankyou
#21: The reason is because the water slows you down more than air does (bc water is thicker than air, which you can see in-game since it is harder to walk and mine underwater than it is on land); the water slows down your momentum a lot more than the air, thus decreasing your final height. Also, two of the blocks that were lower was because you were standing in a 2-block deep hole in the first test but on a 1-pixel deep hole on the second one.
i love how skip used the worlds of other players to show his videos in. like how he used gems in this video. i love this sorta thing
The punch arrow used to be the way to boost your elytra before the fireworks had the elytra boost function.
thank you skip for making vids i actually listen to you to help sleep 🙂
I do too bro
8:29 - 1 block moving inside water slows you a bit more than not moving inside 1 block of water.
I was going to say that
Yess! I love the longer videos! Can’t wait to watch it!
08:28 Because the riptides first seconds are being used to pull you out of the water, since you always go down in the water in minecraft, it uses the force to pull the player up.
facts man
30:20 Sweet Regigigas cosplay!
8:10 The reason why using riptide in shallow water propel you farther than it will eat deeper water is because you can fly more easily to air in the camper water. So if you need me for water that’s one more block that you have to fly through. But once you make it through that block then you can soar through the air like you would normally.
22:29 I remember a Sethbling video on this 10 years ago, it's been pretty well-known for the majority of Minecraft's existence
The hollowed out room for a fully powered beacon in the desert temple is awesome! I never thought of that!
8:30 I can explain. Water slows the playermodel down, meaning a deeper pool is slowing you down for longer. You only get speed upwards for as long as your character is in that spinning animation. So a deeper pool wastes your time.
Whoa I really like how the beacon fits inside the desert temple as many believe pyramids in themselves are like motherboards or sources of energy… all placed in very specific coordinates too the pyramids are very interesting
12:41 Camman be like : Now i can sleep peacefully , i've got my answers
in old versions you could spamm tnt full of arrows and launch them all at once. making for a cool cinematic arrowrain for your rpg medieval battles
As for number 21, I think the reason you go slower in deeper water is because of the resistance flying through more water.
47:40 just press ctrl + Q
and on the enderman staring contest thing, you can look BACK AT THEM in the middle of a fight and they can't teleport, so you can regen and get ready.

I think the bookshelf chest hack you could do just to make the bookshelf functional instead of to hide items, do it to each bookshelf and bam, book storage.
21:39 you can also do this in 2 simpler steps like this: Name the name tag something else such as 'Name Ta' Name it back to 'Name Tag' It should let you, in my experience it always has, but it could just be in Bedrock.
Phantoms in water actually have a weakness- they _ascend slower_ than normal, letting you get an additional free hit in if you're lucky. So if you're willing to risk it for the biscuit (or are a nanomachines enthusiast with full netherite Prot V armor) go right ahead and dive in.

When this guy uploads you know *the day gets full of bot comments*
28:14 "the glitch doesnt allow you to *eat* or place BLOCKS...." i hope not i dont think eating blocks is healthy
8:34 I believe that may be to the games coding for the launches inital momentum is applied on the block you are standing/floating in so 1 block of water cant effect the force bc the next block is just air so no water related drag is applied, however any more than one is now affected by the drag of water when more than one block below bc your character model is still in contact with water after leaving the singular launch block space.
For the shallow and deep water riptide the second water blocks slows you down
The gravel and lantern one is actually pretty dope and would be great for magic type build designs
Just out of curiosity, do you check if these facts still work when you make your compilations? Because sculk catalysts drop 5 xp now instead of 20. (Time stamp 43:06)
plus i would rather carry classic Sculk around than Skulk Catalysts as they are rare to obtain
adding onto tip 119 @47:18 if you hold ctrl and q you drop the entire stack.

I think the reason the riptide trident is more powerful in shallower water is because it’s less blocks underground
A LILY PAD ON A WATERLOGGED CHEST WOULD BE SO NICE
For 119, you can simply press ctrl+q and drop the entire stack in one go instead :)
The shallow pond makes you go higher with riptide cause the deeper one has water above you slowing you down
