    • @@LeeXRV He's obviously very afraid of looping it, which makes sense. Yes most bike manufacturers are claiming mid 2's for their 0-60s, that doesn't mean any average rider is doing it, those figures would have come from a professional rider testing the bike on a prepped racetrack most likely, a realistic time is low to mid 3's with an average rider on it. With a bike It's a similar situation of when you put 600bhp into a fwd car like a corsa vxr, it ends up being slower than it is stock from a standing start because it either can't handle that power or the driver/rider are too afraid of it. The rider in this video was just not good enough though, Jamie needs to invite someone like Peter Hickman to come on and show everyone how it's done.

    • @@callumg_0147 I agree with all points! I’ve done a 3.1 on my S1K and would definitely consider myself an average rider. The rider was in the wrong position for a launch and didn’t attempt to launch. I accept he was likely scared of looping it but what’s the point of making that much power (especially without a extended swing arm) to be far, far slower than a factory standard version of the bike? (Other than for pub bragging rights like the 600bhp corsa owner!) My bike will do mid 2’s with a better rider and plenty have gone 2’s on the bike. It’s a pointless exercise and not true of the bikes capabilities to put on a not great rider that goes far slower than the stock factory bike.
