The best compliment I can give, is to say that it looks like someone bought the triumph name and produced a modern version of the classic spitfire. Nice one Ben.
The timing on this could not be better. I just looked out of the window intending to go for a walk, and as per usual in the UK it's raining. Checked YT to see if anyone had added an upload and found part 3, and it's a decent length too. Thanks for making my afternoon, you sir are a star.

By far and away your best ever car! The colour almost de-ages the Spitfire and makes it look brand new. Can't wait for an engine refurb and dress up and I wouldn't be surprised if this ends up a keeper!
There's been a lot of brilliant moments in this little series, but you sending it around that roundabout has to be one of the best haha.
Spent a day or two catching up on this series, what a remarkable tranformation on this jumble of a project. Love the colour, love the roof, doubt a single one left the factory looking as good as this absolute stunner. Hats off to you Ben!

You may have invented a new thing, “ wet polishing” great job 😁. I hope all the money and work you have put in gives a small profit when you sell it. It looks amazing. Painting metallic, in a shed with basic tools, is an amazing feat.

Used to have a red spitfire mk3. (Or rather my wife did). Loved it, but baby forced reluctant sale back in 1984. 40 years on and I doubt I would be able to get out of a spitfire without crawling out on hands and knees. What an awesome watch. Absolutely right about the colour choice, it’s just amazing, a real head turning car. I love it!

VERY nice job! - but it still drifts round corners just like a Spitfire. 😊 (I used to have one!). A cream interior would really make it look awesome.

Wow what a gem she turned out to be, I was watching in my front room and 7.2m of my friends and family came round for a cuppa so it looks like you need to do the lot now 😅 I would love to see the engine all painted and chromed up to to complement what a great job you have done to exterior 😊 if I had the cash i would buy this off you and treasure it in an instant, I wasn't sure about the colour when you first mentioned it but you was 110% right the green pops. More in-depth mini series like this. Great to see the highs and lows of car restoration. I understand that it’s financially, physically & mentally draining but the end results are amazing.

I cant imagine how much a paint job like that would cost at a body shop. Youve achieved a brilliant result for the cost of materials and youre own time in a lock up , i love it.

Phenomenal job! I know you've earned some time off, and you want to get on with the next car, but I'd love to see one more Spitfire episode - fitting the tan interior to match the hood, and detailing the engine and firewall. The way this project turned out, it would be a shame not to really finish it off in style. Having said that, I googled images of a Sunbeam-Talbot 90 and I can't wait to see that as well, so just do whatever brings you the most joy.

I have to say you've nailed that, you've freshened it up with out slapping lots of modern bits like massive modern wheels and silly headlights. The Midget project I am doing is going to get a few suttle upgrades but in keeping with the period and a few tweaks out of sight. 100% this is probably one of the best British YT channels out there, its on a par with the American channels I love to watch as well.
