If you actually used the mouse you would realize that it goes for 2 months with a SINGLE 10 minute charge!!! if you are low on battery just plug it in while you go pee or something and you are good to go for a few weeks

wow the resident evil games run beautifully, you can see the the real power of this thing when devs have actually written the code in metal
That and the power usage it has while doing it blows my mind. It highlights how inefficient modern GPUs and desktops actually are compared to what would be possible if they redesigned everything today. A desktop consuming 400w couldn't match this, and it won't draw more than 100w total I wouldn't think. PS5 uses 200w + to run RE Village at lower settings.
You can partly blame this on the game dev , most of the game arent optimised well at launch probably because they had to rush the game before released day .
bro resident evil new games run on a potato gtx 560ti I ran a 13 year old xeon with a 560ti and it played flawlessly. It's definitely overpriced. With 7000, I can get a Mac Pro, a Mac m2 and an iPhone 15 pro all with a new gaming pc. Oh and including a months rent and a car payment, surely I think its really ridiculous but I would also say its not aimed for me, anyway just my thoughts
@@RealFinalCionide That's the maxed out version. Realistically I get the $4500 verision which has the maxed out GPU and CPU with 48gb of ram. It's overpriced but it has it's consumer base from music producers to video and photo editors and even coders.

@@Inferno45Their argument is that these are wireless accessories & thus there is no reason to use them wired. In fact, all of their wireless keyboards, mice, and trackpads (that aren’t built into their laptops already) don’t actually ever communicate data via wired even if you try to use them while connected. The Magic Trackpad, for example, will always communicate via Bluetooth. You cannot ever have it use the wired cable, even when plugged in. It only uses it to charge itself.

They wont for 2 reasons: 1. Amount of players compared to PC or console. The reason why consoles took of so much in America was the fact that Macs ware bad at gaming. Thefore its just more cost efficient to ignore Mac OS and just make Windows and consles. The amount of people that will game on a Mac is patectic in comperison. 2. GPUs- The onboard graphis on those doesnt messure up to a dedicated GPU. The best thing a Mac can hope for is get a ported console version because those are cut down in order to match the weak AMD APUs they got on board. Those are actually on par with the Max SOCs in terms of GPU.

And then consider that this is just the beginning of metalFX, ray tracing and mesh sheading on M3 series which isn't even utilized yet... If apple announces something like AI frame generation (there were already some leaks), you'll be looking at a crazy capable machine

@@rajat1960 no. that amount of ram and storage comes up to 1000 at the very worst. especially because they buy in bulk and buy chip modules instead of off the shelf parts. the speaker gap is no longer existent, the screens face issues every other year. the only thing going for the macs right now is the apple ecosystem and the battery life from the use of arm socs.

Nice, great video. Did you boot Windows on this? Curious how you ran Windows/Steam games since it is not supported on Apple chips. Bootcamp is unavailable in latest MacBooks as well. Even virtualization does not allow PC games to be played. Only option is Xbox Cloud I believe.

Resident Evil Village runs very good on my MacBook Pro 16” with M1 Max also. There are a lot of power in the Apple Silicon but we need more games optimized for Metal and macOS.

If you don't want to spend 3k, go for the M3 pro not M3 Max then go for 16gb RAM and 2TB SSD as the limit.

Is it just me or do I find the speakers of the laptop quite good. Not ofc stereo or soundbar quality but it's good for a laptop quite good actually.
It’s beyond me how this laptop is performing so well with components confined in such a small space. The laptop has to be very hot, right? My laptop struggles to run Minecraft though it has good specs, i7-10gen, 16gb ram, 2gb dedicated gpu memory, it gets very hot. And you tell me this beast can run modern AAA game.

RDR2 not showing because the game might running on Vulkan API by default which crossover and macOS do not support, but crossover could translate DX12 titles, modify the config to DX12 API in game files could solve the issue I guess

Minecraft is the one game I can comfortable do on my Mac book with the mouse pad. I played quite a bit during high school lunch times so got decent with just the mouse pad for building and general playing. But anything that needs you to shoot something is gonna need a mouse.

is there "task manager" in mac os? if yes then you can "force quit" or "end task" any game or application from there, sometimes a game's launcher maybe running in the background causes not to start the game or an application.
For red dead you have to launch the game from Rockstar launcher and make sure rockstar launcher is opened as an administrator

Keep in mind that games like Cyberpunk are rendered at 1728x1117, that's less pixels than 1080p. You can easily reach that with sub 1000$ hardware.
