Good review mate, keep it up. I noticied that ALL the 700k LED on keys that have two functions (like numbers and accents), the LED is not centered i guess, just look at the numbers, as you can see the number is darker than the symbol over it, i guess this is the only bad thing about this keyboard. Still being a nice keyboard tho, thank you!

Can I set the macro key without downloading and installing the software every time when switching to a new computer?

+PanBlockhead I'm in the same situation. The 710+ has 6 macros, while this has 5 (the G6 in space bar needs to be configured as space bar, incredibly bad design...), the 710 also has white leds vs orange (matter of taste), and has a volume wheel, and the wrist rest is not "segmented" as this. The only advantage of the cougar is if you have the mice 700M too to share the software (and for aesthetics, hehe, but I also prefer the 600M which combines with all black keyboards so..., again tastes). And it has USB + Audio jacks.

incredibly bad design? lol ... you realize this is a gaming keyboard, and that spacebar makes this one of the few keyboard that allows you to use your thumb as much as you can, right?
