Spanish is a diverse language with many dialects, slang, and accents. I don’t understand why it’s a shock to Hispanics that a black man is speaking Spanish. Lol Especially it their from South America and the Caribbean
Many are from Mexico and don’t know anything outside it, at least Spanish speaking wise
They shock because they mayority of "us" look black American.
Alot of African Americans can speak Spanish in America.
@@commoncentz3148 yeah right lol black Americans living in Spanish speaking countries still don’t speak Spanish fluently
@@jaylove7391 Ok I'm not talking about blacks in Spanish speaking Country. I'm talking about blacks in USA.
I wish I spoke Spanish fluently. My father is Puerto Rican. When he speaks to me in Spanish I understand fully, but I cannot speak fluent. I am currently practicing my Spanish to become fluent. Love your video ❤️
You one day will become fluent !!
Oyes , yo le puedo ayudar , hey I can help you ...Soy africano americano de Houston , I'm african American from Houston. No hay nadie en mi Familia que sabe el Español, no one in my family speaks Spanish.. Defame saber , let me know ..
just marry a brown man. you'll hear it all day from your in laws, most likely 😂🤙🏽
it’s a crying shame that many Latinos in America don’t teach Spanish to their children whether they have 2 Spanish speaking parents or not. Many of my nieces and nephews hardly speak Spanish. Spanish is also a beautiful language . You shouldn’t feel ashamed to speak Spanish.
My great grandfather was Jew but he spoke Judeo Spanish known as Ladino but its a old Spanish dialect and I have ancestors from the Canary Islands, Spain
I am 🇨🇺 Cuban and African-American. I am very proud of you. Your pronunciation of the words and everything is fantastic!!! Mucho respecto!
Wow! Thank you so very much!!
Nice. Im Costa Rican we are very close to Panamanian People. 🇵🇦🇨🇷 Is very Important for US as Latinos to speak Spanish.
Bien importante !
I have a black coworker at work who I for sure thought was African based off his accent. Can you imagine my surprise when he asked me in fluent Spanish if I spoke Spanish? Turns out the homie was actually from Barcelona, Spain. He speaks Spanish, English, and I've heard him speak a 3rd language with some of the other African coworkers. So cool!!
Have any of you ever traveled? Like there are SO MANY Afro-Cubans and Afro- Latinos... They look like African Americans. But they just happen to be from a Spanish speaking country. This needs to be taught in schools. I ALWAYS get asked, "WHERE did you learn Spanish?"... Rhe amount of ignorance is truly astounding. 😀😀😀🤔🤔🤔
Hmm, I didn't know that we African-Americans had a particular "look"
yea my family straight up looks black and we're latinos
I love to see it !!!!
My cousins are half black half white and we used to live in a Puerto Rican neighborhood and they would always assume they spoke Spanish. Lol. Some Hispanics look black so it's hard to tell until they start talking
Very good!!! I wish more black Americans and white Americans too would learn Spanish. One of the most talked languages in the world is Spanish, and one of the most beautiful too. I was impressed with his Spanish, very good 👍 he had a more Dominican accent than anything but very nice. Lots of blessings to you sir, from a Puerto Rican brother.
This is beautiful. Black and brown power. ‼️❤️
Stop lumping us together because when black people suffer facing injustices, brown people are nowhere to be found......
Isnt brown as shade of black? Most "brown" people identify as "white Latino" on U.S. Census. Black Americans can't racially hop like most. "Brown people" also brown is a shade of black. The "black" guy actually is brown skinned. Brown came from "black ancestry. But black Americans are historically"black and proud"
Your spanish is amaizing! And your pronunciation is very good! Saludos desde Mexico:3
I just started learning Spanish as of yesterday. You give me hope. Thanks for this. Gracias Hermano.
Wow! So happy to know that you’re learning the language that changed my life ! I wish you all the best of luck !! You got this !! It’s going to be a challenge at first , but it gets easier ! I promise! Que Dios te bendiga , hermano !!
heyyyy cómo van las lecciones?

Cinco meses ? Wow!!! Que bueno para ti , mano! Te deseo muy buena suerte !!
Sí, cinco meses. Garcias y Dios te bendiga
I Love this!!This needs to be a series,I think the biggest fear people have when speaking to a native speaker is that they will not understand or even be confused when you speak but this shows how warm and willing native speakers are when they see you trying to learn the language 🇵🇦🇵🇦🇵🇦❤❤❤
I know Latinos who are learning to speak English totally terrified and even embarrassed to speak English for fear they’re going to pronounce something incorrectly . I’m bilingual so I never felt that fear but I can definitely imagine how I might feel trying to Speak French or some African language.
Gs bro 💯 keep up the good work.
Aye , preciate you!!!!
Wow this video taught me a lot keep grinding dawg cos I'm also learning Spanish from watching your videos and taking experience too cos I have a lot of Mexican friends who spoke fluent Spanish also
I’m glad that you learned from this ! I will definitely be posting again soon!
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE KEEP MAKING THESE!! It’s helping me a lot. This along with Duolingo and I’ll be fluent in no time! ❤️
I got you !
Hola, mi hermano. Gracias por el video.
🏨I worked in a hospital in a Latino Neighborhood in Brooklyn for 9yrs. I already knew some Spanish b4 then, but it would Annoy the hell outta me when ppl would ask me how I know Spanish🤦🏽♂️, then they assumed I was Dominican cause in "Lightskinned black"😖

Thank the author of the channel for making this beautiful and useful video for us! Many people are embarrassed to speak a foreign language if they have no speaking skills. People are afraid to hear criticism from others in their address. It all comes from having a psychological complex - to make a mistake. But, after all, he who does nothing is not wrong! In Yuriy Ivantsiv's workshop "Polyglot Notes. Practical tips for learning foreign language" states that we need to talk as much as possible: with yourself, with the mirror, with inanimate objects, with children and with pets. Find an interlocutor in real life or online. Talk without shyness. People won't care how you speak. They understand that you are a foreigner, as long as they understand you. They may even acknowledge your progress in their language and compliment you. However, always be prepared for criticism of your speaking skills. If you have the will to speak, you will gain an interesting interlocutor to consolidate your knowledge. Everyone is strewn with mistakes - don't be afraid to learn from them. As the Latin wisdom says, "walk and thou shalt not go astray". In the book "Polyglot Notes" by Yuriy Ivantsiv an entire chapter is devoted to the development of spoken language. Here you will find many useful tips and each student can choose a technique that suits him or her best! I wish you all the best of luck in your language learning!

ENGLISH: Wow, that's so amazing! I can't speak Spanish that fluently, but I try my best to learn through Google Translate.
Lots of blacks speak Spanish, they just don't let everybody know it. You hear lots of things people think you don't know. 😅😅😅
hey I'm impressed , I'm black and also speak Spanish
That’ so cool ! You should come in a livestream one day!

Great work hope to collaborate with u on KZhead,NAMIBIA 🇳🇦❤❤
Thank you so much for watching! We could! Anything is possible ! 😎😎
How is your Spanish fluent how long did it take u ?
It took me a few years! Years of hard work n study!
Tu acento es panameño!!! Lo reconocería en la luna 😁😅
Tu Crees?
Why does the title imply that it is something unusual about Black people speaking foreign languages. Alot of us speak Spanish. I think the average African speaks at least 4 languages.
Here , where I’m from (Texas) it’s everyday where people are shocked that I can speak because it’s not very common to see people of my color speak Spanish as well as I do being born and raised here.
One thing does not have to do with another when considering 75% of the latino population is mixed black!!
Where do you find these people?
Literally on the streets 🤣
@@Demontreeee and you talk to them without knowing that they speak Spanish?
Lol, no. I have conversations before filming , Ofc !
@@Demontreeee but how did you know that they spoke Spanish?
Where I’m from , almost everyone speaks Spanish! And they own a Spanish restaurant and everything Is in Spanish so it was pretty obvious!
you speak it better than me and both my parents speak Spanish fluently! I'm learning apache, my people's original language ✊🏾👑
I’ve never heard of Apache! That’s really cool! Keep going!
IM FLUENT TOO... BLAXICAN POWER!!
Man bruh I don't see how you understand that kind of language and speak it to!🤔
Mann ,With lots of hard work and dedication🤣
Honestly bro it's not as hard as you think you just gotta put the work in. Also man the USA it's basically another spanish speaking country it's just not the official language and there's a lot of people practice with here.
This is so stupid. There's black people in all of Latin America. The title should of been "Young Black American"
wtf jalen ramsey mexican i didn’t know
