  • I did the 2” lift with spacers on my 22 Pro-4X and getting ready to put on your UCAs. I think this combo gives the truck a balanced and good stance. Thanks for the walk through. The ft/lbs specs helps!

  • Great video guys! I just put your 1 inch wheel spacers on yesterday and have a Rckilla 2 inch lift coming friday. If I decide to add another 1/2 inch spacer on top of what im already doing im definately going with your upper control arms. These trucks are so sexy with a mild lift! Its a must do for sure. Gives it the perfect stance and just enough extra clearance to clear more obstacles off road.

    @snowsolo@snowsolo29 күн бұрын
    • Thanks for the love! Agreed, a mild lift goes a long way on this platform for both performance and aesthetics.

    • What I find peculiar is, the prior generation 6MT was stout enough to handle a LS V8 swap and tow heavy trailers let alone the 4.0 V6, so why would Nissan have to engineer much more than the bell housing to mate with the new 3.8 V6? Maybe a slight change to the ECU, but doubt much. Frankly, this could be an easy swap if someone had the $$$$$ resources….

    • This is why I ended up with a Jeep Gladiator. Driving enjoyment means too much to me to ignore. I get the most enjoyable drives rowing the gears myself. The Frontier doesn’t offer it and the Toyota Tacoma offers it so rarely you can’t find them.

      @JTheMoneyable@JTheMoneyable27 күн бұрын
    • @@Green_Leaf Nissan would’ve lost money engineering a bell housing, ECU, etc… because manuals are dead. All I ever see is people complaining about the lack of manuals nowadays but guess what the Tacoma comes with a manual and only 1.4% of them ordered and sold had it.

  • Awesome video. I’m about to do a full suspension lift on my 23 PRO4X. Do you guys have any advice or video on what/where to cut for a bigger tire install?

    @zacharyrodgers597@zacharyrodgers59726 күн бұрын
    • Wheel offset, tire size, and alignment specs will all offer different results for each person, so it is important to realize one's experiences may change from person to person. For this instance, since we are running both a wider and taller tire and a 1.5" spacer, we had some decent rubbing prior to cutting. We would not have needed to trim as much had we opted to just run this size wheel and tire, and not include the 1.5" wheel spacer. We pulled the flare off, trimmed the lower part of the metal fender back to the bottom mounting screw while leaving enough meat to screw the flare back on, and trimmed the bottom section of the flare itself as well to clear the tires while turning. We wanted to trim enough to clear, while maintaining a OE look, and this process achieved that. We also used a heat gun to slowly melt the fender liner back out of the way in a few of the spots it protruded out into the wheel-well. There is also a clip in the center of the fender well behind the tire, and this is attached to a tab. You can remove this clip and carefully bend the tab back, to allow for more clearance. If you do this, be sure to take these steps a little bit at a time, and check wheel/tire fitment periodically between cuts to see where and what else is required for you to trim. We recommend using some painters tape to mark where you want to make your cuts to ensure you cut in the right places and have straight cuts. Check the video at timestamp 15:54-16:09 for a better picture of what this is referring to. Pause at 16:04 to see where we cut the fender and the flare. This process was the same on both sides.

  • You made it look simple, Nice work. Question... Don't I need to keep the strut in the same position when re-installing with spacers? Noone is talking about the strut now facing the opposite direction from how it should be...

    @3dmaui432@3dmaui4325 күн бұрын
    • The top-hat will only bolt into the strut tower one way. It doesn't make any difference which direction the shock body is facing unless it is a higher end shock with adjustment knobs or fittings that need to be accessible, but you should be able to fasten the threads into the top hat and use a long handled tool such as a pry bar or a screwdriver to turn the lower eye to line up with the LCA mounting tabs.

  • Great video! For this truck did you guys put wheel spacers on all four tires? What do you recommend?

    @robertbobby3237@robertbobby32377 күн бұрын
    • Yes, we installed 1.5" wheel spacers on all 4 corners. Spacers can serve different purposes for different applications, but we and the owner of this truck felt the slightly more aggressive stance was the look we were going for. Keep in mind that a wheel spacer will effectively give you more "negative" offset, and this will require more cutting and trimming on the front compared to a factory offset wheel. We're happy with the overall outcome and look this truck now has!

      @z1off-road@z1off-road5 күн бұрын
  • Do you recommend extended lower control arm bump stops with your 2" spacer? Does the suspension still bottom on the stock LCA bump stops or the shock itself with the spacer installed? I just bought your 2" lift that i am installing on a '24 P4X... I bought longer bump stops just in case, but hoping I don't need them🤞

    @patthurston4416@patthurston441625 күн бұрын
    • As we went and tested the travel in this video, the limiting factor for up-travel was still the factory bump stop.

    @crs_uu5831@crs_uu583125 күн бұрын
