This video was filmed by Jill Miller for her son Bert Miller, 33 who is a musician from Devon. Mr Miller told Ark Media that his plan was to surprise his girlfriend Hayley, 25 by telling her " to come outside because the metal detector was reading that there was gold in our garden." Adding "I had buried the ring a week before so the ground didnt look tampered with."
Bert's whole family were apart of the surprise and helped to capture the full occasion on camera. During the proposal Hayley was so shocked that it took her a moment to process what had happened.
