For those of you that are dealing with wound care, we have discovered something that actually works. It took a lot of testing with many products, especially with our feather legged guy. We aren't big fans of vet wrap long term because it can constrict the blood flow. Hope this can help others of you in this situation.

*Prior to this video, we had left off his dressing for a couple days to test if this was really making a difference. As you can see by the redness and callus, it does!
(MarkyMoo The House Roo has twisted tibia. We needed to come up with bandage options to help him save the skin around his leg. We hope this video will help others. )

Great job! He is a very pretty chicken plus he was such a good boy!
You have a really good heart
The creature is so fortunate to have you and you are an angel, lady. About the tape, or whatever it's called it, I am not sure if it's the same stuff that I once used on my dad's skin ulcer. Yes, the tape is quite expensive. Lady angel, may I suggest that you can add an additional comfort to the chicken wounded area by place a piece of rubbery from Dr. Scholl's products. Just a suggestion.
