Full 213 Days Homemade Classic Supercar Mercedes Benz 300 SL
Hello all of you. I started a new project after the Lamborghini Huracan, which is the mercedes benz 300 slr. a very special carriage that has only 2 in the world and costs up to 143 million dollars. This car with the experience drawn from the previous cars, I will try to be very detailed and thorough. Let's follow the process of building this car together.

  • I have to admit I hatewatched this at first, thought that the car looked wonky and wondered what idiot build this was. But I love it! Love how you let your creativity flow and built something fun out of such simple means, a lot better than anything I ever have created! I'm just a little disappointed you didn't put a petrol engine in it, but hey, still a fun build! :)

    • Yeah I said that- petrol engine needed. I doubt that motor has much power or range but let's be honest i doubt the brakes are probably safe or able to cope with much, the chassis won't be super straight. Its beautiful and amazing- and purely aesthetic. But thats probably the reason. Imagine doing 70 in it? I'd imagine it's drafty, road noise and rattles and not tight. Did he even have suspension? I can't remember...must of surely? Just looking at the ride height and wheel size.

    • @@orderofmagnitude-TPATP It has suspension, but who knows how well dialed in it is? However, I didn't imagine putting a big Mercedes six cylinder in it, more like a Honda based one cylinder. Would have been fun to just putt around town in, not travel across the country. Or maybe? 😄

    • @@andreasbenning yea, yeah- no i wasn't thinking a v6/8 etc either... dinky 1 litre 3 cylinder possibly turbo that kind of thing- but i don't even know if it could even cope with that- so maybe a 1 cylinder or bike engine or something? 250cc?? Up to 500cc?

  • That thing drives like an old carriage on black ice. You can see well in the drone shots that this thing can't even keep track. The appearance doesn't even come close to the original. The only good thing is that there is a small electric motor inside and it doesn't go faster than a scooter. You certainly won't survive an accident in it. But the work you have done is incredibly good! Why don't you just take a real car and build an awesome sports car based on your imagination. So no imitation but really a great design of your own. That would be cool and definitely great.
