    • @Dean Navaro idk about engine cause, if you think about it... it will rev just as hard in last gear as thro any other gear so you wont get some "over rev" or anything in fact you would be more likely to over rev on lower gears when you have more power.. but we have rev limiter on like all cars for 30+ years

  • 5.61 seconds for a 100-200km/h sprint is absurdly quick.. that this is achieved in a 950-hp sports luxury sedan is doubly impressive. (Also makes one wonder what a 2.36-second 60-130mph sprint would feel like in a rear-wheel-drive car with number plates 😳 see: KRATOS VIPER)

    • 5.61 is absolutely nonsense for 950bhp that is stage 2 750bhp time 🤦🏻‍♂️ IF it was 950, which it isnt, it would be doing a low 4, stage 2 rs7 c7 does 5.67 with stock turbos, running 750bhp.

  • I have a AMG E63S W213 with just over 1,000 HP and 1,200nm thanks to a wide range of tuning improvements. We have tuned 3 of these cars to the same level with zero reliability issues. We have found that adding pops and bangs to the tune actually decreases HP & Torque. It can also damage the engine if it is excessive. More and more Stage 3 and higher tuners are now advising clients to not choose "Burble".

    • That actually makes a lot of sense because pops and bangs actually means excessive fuel in the exhaust system which I can't imagine is healthy for an engine 😂

    • @@simonkern691 Must be frustrating having such HP and not being able to utilize it. I don't think I've seen as many speed cameras, speed traps, red light cameras, etc in any other country. And with such low speed limits on surface streets.

  • I dont understand why noone ever upgrades these ZF transmissions. They are meant to handle 1000NM, at this point with just a software upgrade it will wear very fast but maybe fail at some point

    • They are indeed meant to handle 1000NM but they will not last closely as long compared to the factory torque this car produces

    • It's a German gearbox, if it says it's meant to handle 1000 Nm, it's probably gonna handle 1500 Nm and be fine.

    • These tuned cars dont have 1000nm in every gear. They are limited, especially in 1st and 2nd gear. All companies do that to protect even a stock clutch/gearbox from damage

  • Gorgeous car! The steering wheel is beautiful too. I only would cut an inch of the paddle shifters as they stand somewhat in front of the screen as you can see in the video. Question: what top speed do you think it would go without the limiter??

    • Audi Group makes really tunable engines. Edit: Correction, the engine Is made together by Audi *and* Porsche. 2nd edit: It seems like the guy below me knows better than Wikipedia and dozens of other world renowned car magazines and does not understand the meaning of the word "together" and "joint" "The new Audi V8 engine from the EA825 series is a joint development of Porsche and AUDI AG."

  • Go Max! But be careful dude….most probably on that car, (97Y) tires are rated for over 300kph but over 330k would be pushing a PS4S. Use PSC2 or equivalent tire for that speed.

  • Can the transmission handle that monstrous torque with just a software adjustment? They're making some good stuff in Ingolstadt these days. The way this car pulls from 200 to 300 km/h seems effortless.

  • I love the way the other cars pull up on the right lane when possible. I don't know if it's a general behavior in Germany or if the video had to be shot multiple times, but here in France most of the drivers don't care about staying in the left lane.
