Well that was NASTY but what an incredible transformation! Hard to believe that’s the same car I started with! Have a great weekend guys!
In the passenger side rear door a miss-match/replacement? It looked like the exterior bump strip was misaligned, then I saw a black interior panel. The car has definitely lived a hard life. Nice work giving it another chance!
Terrific job as always!
Why not do a full paint correction on that as well?? It sure would shine thing sup even more??? :)
He details cars. Why would he paint it? @@mikemeyerphotopro
That's a lot of sit-ups!!! 😂🤣😂🤣😂
Something that really impresses me, besides your great work, is your knowledge of all the different makes and models of cars. My husband has been in the automotive industry for over 40 years and a lot of what you say, is exactly what he says. Have a wonderful weekend.
Your editing and production skills continue to improve. Great job Captain Consistent!!!! I love that this car has almost no options on it. I bet Mike makes an appearance by the end of next month. :)
I'm shocked the steamer couldn't get rid of that purple stain!
Thanks for hurting my feelings first thing in the morning by saying that these are nearly 2 decades old 🤣
They're known as a Pontiac G5 in the US, a rebadged Chevy Cobalt
That used to be the sunfire
13:58 im shocked how the ink spot wasn’t even visible at first due to all the grime 😳
That grossed me out, enough dirt to cover up a huge ink stain is awful 😬
When he said “body fluids” I almost threw up. 🤮
It would be amazing to see you start buying cars like this for cheap at auctions, clean them up, and give them away maybe once a month? I’ve been watching your channel for 2 years or so now and it’s amazing to see your growth and honest hard work man! Keep it up dude
What a great transformation! The whole inside of that vehicle looked... sticky. 😬 She's looking so much better after visiting your car spa! Great work, Mitch!
I do have the same steamer as you. I got it last year after watching you clean cars for over a year. I use it to mop floor, clean furniture and stainless steel appliances. It works wonders and cuts down cleaning time. It also disinfects and kills odors.
Ever wonder the kind of person that has a 2006 Pontiac POS repo'd?
I worry more for the guy who bought it at auction. Then again, he'll probably give it to his newly licensed kid because, who cares if he smacks it on a curb or into a pole.
@@paveltolz6601 I would not let my kid drive this thing. Ever see the side impact crash tests of these? Yikes!
I know, right? Hilarious.
Who’d own it? An average Gen X.
Lol
It's so nice to see an old Pontiac being saved.
They always get rid of the good cars
Pretty impressive to see this car come back. From the looks of it the man I assume drove this thing around half naked spilling his beers and just throwing his cigarettes as he went about his day. I don’t understand how one does that to a seat personally. Nice job. Those seats came back so much better than I thought. Do you ever have problems with the modern cloth upholsterings pilling or fraying???
Loving the barn/bush playlist! Looking forward to many more!! :)
I admire you Mitch! I appreciate your efforts in the small details. I like your way of transforming the "pumpkin" into the "royal float" (said with all due respect). You are simply the best! Thanks
Hey Mitch, there's a product here in the US called "Goof Off" which will literally melt any type of glue or adhesive off of any surface. Just test it first because it will also remove paint and some plastics as well! But it would work great on that dashboard.
We have that here too, or its called, GooGone or something like that..
I hv Goo Gone 2 use on jars.Wax paper and a steam iron would hv removed the glue.❤😊
Yup, GooGone in Canada will do it!
Amazing work Mitch.
Mitch, the Pursuit looks brand new! Fantastic job!
Thanks for all the tips on how to keep our cars and trucks spotless!!
Hey Mitch, The car looks great!!! As Always Amazing!!!❤❤❤
Amazing as always!
That was insane. Well done as always Mitch
Excellent video and brilliant transformation
16:16 - after going to Taco Bell 😂 So glad to see another one of these back on the road! Pontiac Pursuits/G5s & Chevrolet Cobalts are great little cars! Very reliable, and relatively simple engineering so they're easy to fix, just with a dirt-cheap body put on the bulletproof drive train. If I remember correctly, the 4-door Pontiac Pursuit was never sold in the US, so this must be a Canadian-sold car?
Three cheers to you Mitch you've got the magic touch
An awesome transformation especially the interior
Oooh Canadian model Pontiac. In the States we have have the coupe version. ( Pontiac G5)
Nice work. 😎🔨🤘🏻 Came out better than expected.
Wow, like a brand new, awesome work 🔥🔥
I really appreciate your channel and video ❤ I'm always watching your video the car is nicely done thanks for the video Mitch
Great transformation! You made the car look 100% better!
It’s finally Friday and another great video from Mitch❤ have a wonderful weekend and don’t forget the weenie roast Mitch😂
Amazing work!
Wow that is an absolutely beautiful transformation on the Pontiac! Great job Mitch and have a nice weekend DG viewers!
Hey Botdog, hope you're having a great weekend. Stay cool my friend.
i like how you are doing older cars. more of a challenge it seems. Good Job!
You did an amazing job on this car!! So much better than before.
I agree Mick that was gross . You always do a awesome job on the vehicles
Nice of them to leave you an impact driver and those hand tools! 🤣🤣
RIGHT!?????
That's what i was thinking! It's easily over $200 value esp with the battery
He bags up the valuables and returns them to the current owner.
Yep, the new owner got a nice Dewalt impact driver! 😄@@themobseat
Wow awesome transformation
Been up all night waiting on this
the more i watch these, the more i see the value in cleaning things you'd otherwise throw away. thank you.
I like the new angle shots.
The change is unbelievable!!!
Mitch should also work with painting cars, that would’ve been so cool. Also I miss Mike, is he on vacation? 😂
My vocabulary can’t describe that one! Wow!!
love your videos from South Africa. Could you please do a video on how you prep your work space and tools for your next detail. Thank you so much
Hi Mitch this pursuit looks a lot better than it did and probably smells somewhat better too awesome job as always and the owner will feel better knowing its cleaned up better than it was have a great weekend mitch an ill catch you in the next one
Another great one Mitch 👍
Right guy for right job. Great job done.
Considering what you had to work with from the get-go you did a very good job
I have been watching and enjoying your video's for years. I wish you would show a full paint correction. I am a detail enthusiast and would love to see how you would tackle a project like that.
I've shown paint correction many, many times here and on the second channel 👍🏼
Another epic transformation Mitch. I hope the owner got the car for a steal.
Great Video!
Great job as usual Mitch I have to admit I never heard of a Pontiac Pursuit
It looks like a Pontiac G5 or almost a Chevy Cobalt.
I miss my 2010 Chevy Cobalt... you do a very good job on that
The looks like it smelled like an ashtray! Great job!
Mitch, I have been wondering for a while if you would consider doing a video on cleaning your cleaning equipment (eg, drill brushes and steamer). I think some people forget these need to be cleaned to clean properly. Great video on cleaning the Pursuit!
A another fantastic job
Looks GREAT 🎉😊
love watching your vids man.. you should maybe get into the carpet paint.. really cool stuff.
Enjoyed this one as I drive a Chevy Cobalt which is basically identical to this car.
more like Detail King 👑🎉
Hey Bro… excellent work! I have a suggestion for you for those stubborn stains on the carpets and seats… try dissolving some OxyClean in warm water then spray it like you normally would for the 2nd pass and let it sit for a while. I think you’d be pleased with the results. Just use the drill brush and extractor as usual. Good detailing! 😊
Your trousers match the car! What a brave man you are, I'd begin with a liberal spray of Febreze. Also amazing what a thorough running of the vacuum can do. Came out better than I imagined it could. Good thing you caught the emergency brake...
Well that pos does look good for what it is. Great work!
Oh my goodness this car was nasty filthy. Fantastic job!
Wow what a transformation that was !
I really miss 30 minutes videos back hope you have a great weekend Mitch mine Is not that great this week!
I wonder how people leave their car abandoned for decades like this car does. Amazing to see this cleaned up again!
Imagine how poorly your life must be going to get a vehicle of this calibre repossessed.... yikes
You do awesome work n it relaxed me watching you I'm to a detail fanitc but in Winter I don't have heat garage Love yr channel
Thanks!
Timbits and coffee for Mitch! Very considerate. ❤
Appreciate the support!! ❤
Wow this is definitely a challenge eh, by the way I love the music to this video, very inspiring 👍
Another great episode ... also pants sorta matching the car :)
How relaxing does it feel to watch a car being washed? Good video.
Coffee✅ Detail Geek✅. Good day y'all
Nice work!
Wow 😮 great job 👍💯👍💯 👍💯
Good Job Bro.
Watching Curling while you work. Nice 👍
I think Curling is well... boring.I would probably fall asleep.😂 They say its like shuffle board.*Nvr played it. I hv played croquet, like miniature golf.❤😊
You've got a good eye to have caught that!
I can’t believe how good you made this car look Mitch!
This is going to be a good detail. Thanks, Detail Geek
I like seeing owners reactions and when you do abandoned vehicles
It was definitely yucky before, lol. Great job as always!
Ove the work man but if i could ask one thing, show the results once its dry and not while its still wet cause how would we know if the stains came back once dry. One thing i learnt the hard way as a detailer
Hey Detail Geek, I want to start being a detailer just like you. You have inspired me! Any tips?
Those floor carpets were probably the nastiest ones ive ever seen. The results were better than expected!
My dad used to have a 2005 Pontiac Montana van when I was growing up. That thing was so cool. I loved riding in it and the speaker system and it was awesome. I remember so many road trips watching movies in that van. I wish this guy could come over and clean out my bedroom Lol. The 2004 Mercury marquee I have is pretty cool but I just have so many CDs in it because it doesn’t have a thing that you can connect your phone to. My friends still laugh at me when I tell them that I still listen to CDs while driving.
Great video! This just makes Friday 10 times better!
Amazing results Mitch 👏🏻👏🏻
Great vid as always! Would like to ask if possible, are there any alternative cleaners that you can use for those who could not avail thru your site? Big preeesh
😯well done amazing 🙂🙂
Mitch, perhaps using Goo Gone to remove glue residue ?
You have definitely done yourself proud 👏 🥲 🥰 ✌️ 👍👌🙏
Thank you so much for always giving us amazing quality videos. Have a great rest of your day Mitch!
7:47 lol it looks like there’s another set of floor mats 😂
Very nice 😊👍
Great job! Just an FYI... hairspray pulls ink out of fabric. Spray and blot, then shampoo. Great job as usual!
Does this work for regular clothes too? 🤣 My preteen son seems to always have a random ink stain on his school uniforms.
@lynnettesue6240 Yes, it does. Make sure you have a towel in between the layers (stain on front of shirt. If there is no barrier, it will bleed through to the back. Use an old rag)
@@taraanderlich4831 Thanks! Definitely going to give it a try. Not sure how he manages to get so many ink stains in an electronic world on top of not doing homework, but here we are. 😆
Mitch, I work for a plastics molding company here in Ohio. In Quality Control dept. You can get adhesive off of the plastics with hand sanitizer and a little bit of elbow grease!
God, I love watching your videos, I don't know why but I do.
