Minecraft 100 Floor Survival... This is a completely new and unique challenge. this was CRAZY!

This is a new Minecraft but, 1.18 challenge that we have decided to try. We try and survive 100 floors on a Minecraft death elevator. We challenged a developer to code 100 floors that increase in difficulty, with one goal, kill us! If they kill us before we beat the 100th floor, they win. If we survive 100 floors, we win. 100 floors may feel like 100 days of hardcore in this challenge :)
If this video gets 2,000,000 likes we'll do it again :)
Not Minecraft, But Water Rises or Minecraft, But Lava Rises, or any other but challenge like that. This is a speed run / speed runner of Minecraft against a killer / assassin

  • I think having the floors get crazier but having infinite food would be good, or maybe something like +1 steak every floor to make it more fair. It's a great concept but definitely a little brutal and I think having more food makes more potential for more & better ideas.

  • Y’know what the developers can do to make this more interesting? Instead of enemies giving you items and food, they only drop the material, and at a few floors when the doors open, there’s a crafting table and a furnace. But when all enemies die, the doors close. So that way you have to run around enemies while making your equipment.

  • I would love Dream team to try this again. Just paying more attention to saturation next time; not jumping around as much on the early levels and instead conserving their hunger when they don't need the crits as much. Or maybe try it again but with Bad and Ant there too. Could be a cool series and I'd love to see it again!!

  • This should’ve been more of a test of combat skill, not a test of how well you can conserve your food. There should’ve at least been a way to get food, like drops from mobs.

    • Agree to both things. Maybe have them get something like 2 food items every 8th floor or something. That way they still need to be smart about it.

    • I can see both sides of it. Having to conserve food makes this challenge a lot harder. They are given 48 steak at the start, so on average they have 0.48 each steaks per floor(assuming there's none on higher floors). This makes it better from a difficulty perspective. But also, conserving food/dying to hunger isn't very interesting to play/watch. After all a lot of shooters/fighters don't have a hunger or even energy mechanic because it can distract from the intense combat. From an entertainment side it would be better to give them infinite food/a way to get food. It's down to personal preference really, are you playing for a difficult challenge or a fun one. For most it's a bit of both, being challenging makes something fun up to a certain point after all. It all depends on what balance of each you prefer.

  • Idea: more food (or opportunities to get food), extra person (BBH) and more custom mobs because they're super fun to see! Edit: maybe also with blocks so you can tower and various stuff like lava, water, buckets, seeds/dirt, etc. Also, since you only made it around halfway, maybe the next challenge could be finishing the next levels up to 100?

  • I would love to see the concept of starting with 1 or 2 food items and having a “food floor” every 4-5 with a suboptimal amount of food, rewarding players who have great movement and are able to conserve and manage their hunger, making it more of a “survival” and can scale the entire way up to 100. Seeing players utilizing and taking advantage of mob drops would make the game more entertaining, rather than mindlessly holding off waves of enemies. Perhaps getting mob drops to help make gear and items to help their survival like end crystals and brewing items.

  • I returned to this video after a long time, to be honest. It was a great video and I found some helpful advice regarding hunger bars, among other things. However, I believe it would be more enjoyable if it was not set in an elevator but rather a maze. The perspective would be completely different, but in my opinion, it would be much simpler. If you've seen Mr Beast videos, you know how fun maze challenges can be. other ecamples could be like MCC, Parkour Warrior. The color palette for this game should be distinct from the start, with vibrant greens and reds, (green as grass) transitioning to black as your munhunts to approach the Ender Dragon. Perhaps some grey areas in the middle or towards the end. As for the jumps, it doesn't matter, it was funny.

  • Something new and i like it, George and Snapnap somehow still manage to survive even though they're more panicking and have better equipment than Dream, that's shows who's actually can carry here. But then they are more normal player's so they doing more funny stuffs, they're good too, not in skill, but in general fun. If they don't get more food than just a 64 steaks to each player's, they couldn't make it to floor 50 next time, unless they get more people, then maybe they make it at least to floor 75.

  • You know you should tell the developer to add a stink feature, where at a certain floor you get a stink and you have to protect it. Could also add a reward where if stink is alive it gives you food or it levels up and can attack if you reach a certain number of floors
