My Husky only “talked”, she never howled or barked. She was passive except when someone attempted to mug me. She showed her teeth, her fur stood up, growled and lunged at him. He jumped back and ran away. Yes, I gave her a treat.
my registered Sib's Only Talked !!
My husky if I was being mugged: "Maybe he's helping my human look for cheese in his pockets??!! Oh, this is wonderful!"
@@SRQBID that would be my husky too!! 🤣🤣🤣
I always wonder about my two huskies, would they protect me? I like to think they would react the way your good girl did!
My husky was the most relaxed, chill, laid back dog you've ever seen. He was also the sweetest and most beautiful dog ever. He'd go up to people and place his head under their hand to "encourage" them to pet him. LOL. I had him for 14 years, 4 months, and 4 days until he crossed the rainbow bridge.
I am sorry 😔
My husky is the most silent dog ever! I’m howling and barking instead of him 😅
I have to tease my husky with treats and toys for a couple minutes to get him to bark 😂
Both of my huskies bark, howl AND talk. But not all the time and rarely AT anything but me, usually when they are telling me I’m too slow at prepping their meals or are saying good morning or welcoming me home. Normally they are pretty quiet dogs, even when other dogs in the neighborhood are barking and carrying on.
My husky would definitely make the worst guard dog. He is literally a chicken in a husky costume. But as bad as he is as a guard dog, he is the most affectionate dog I have ever owned. The dog loves bear hugs, and tummy rubs.
I loved this. Everything you said is true. My husky is the most quiet, friendly, and playful dog ever. They are awesome dogs.
My big girl was a puppy for almost three years! Now at 5 she is so mellow and we’ll behaved! She goes howl with ambulances like she’s doing them a favor 😂! Great dogs! Never thought I’d have one, we rescued her out of a bad situation- so glad we did!
I had to cancel my bark box because of medical bills and it makes me so sad! One thing, though, is their super chewer toys are indestructible! I still have all their toys intact from the last year. And that’s 4 pit bulls chewing on those bad boys. Definitely worth every penny!
Question: do your pitties try to DESTROY and ANNIHILATE all toys? Bc mine does and I haven’t found one yet he can’t destroy within minutes
@@kellygarza9522 they are absolute terrors with their toys! The only ones they ripped to pieces actually had a toy inside it (the squeaker was a fetch ball after the rest was destroyed) which was cool!
@@ReesieandLee yeah that sounds like my baby lol, I will have to try these when I can afford it. Thanks!!!
Awwww CUTE husky ❤❤❤❤ ADORABLE video hehehe 😁😁😁😁 , kiss from yorkie Yoshi, au au 🐶🐶🐶
Our husky, Harley, barks at the TV whenever there's an animal on the TV or outside and "Talks" whenever he wants treats, attention, outside to poo, bored with life, dinner, etc . . . other than that, he's super mellow & just wants ALL the attention from the humans around him... We Love him!
I have 3 huskies my oldest will be 16 this week and she only howls at sirens my middle girl is very quiet and the 3 year old makes up for the other two by barking howling and talking. All the time! Life is so much better with multiple huskies!
We had 2 huskies and they were talkers. Never barked never howled. Also couch potatoes after age 7. Lived to be 16 each. Miss them both.
Great video, and spot on regarding what most people thing about the breed. I do wish you had added one clarification to the final point on cost, and that is there are often purebred huskies available from local rescues or shelters because the original owner probably didn't do their research. Adopting from a shelter is always great because you both save some cash and probably save their life.
My son got his Husky from a rescue group. He even had to be interviewed. We love her and a lot of what he is saying about Huskies I can state is true.
So, I'm not a pet person or ever considered having a pet, but my girl just surprised me with a puppy husky. My reaction was, 🥴🥲 ah crap.
My 5 year old Siberian/Malamute cross is a barker. Very vocal when he wants something like a walk or his meal. Loves his belly rubs. 110# of love and affection. Makes friends with everyone.
My husky is very quiet, only barks when she's playful or sees something weird.. other than that everything is true she's super friendly and funny.
Thanks so much! I’m planning to have a husky myself, these vids you provide give me all the needs and facts needed. Def gonna do more research in case I leave out small things
My husky baby barks, howls and talks 😅 we encourage it because it’s so darn cute!
My husky learned to bark from his German Shepherd sister. He also howls, but only at sirens. Also, they can be aggressive...but usually to small things that look like prey.
I have a husky x Samoyed he barks when he’s been left home in the garden to greet us on our arrival home, but usually he talks! I love him he’s such a great dog
I had two Golden’s before my Husky’s. I fell in love with the breed!!
I think my favorite husky joke of all time was "hey boy I just ran a marathon" "oh you ran a marathon? How heavy was the sled?"
Mr. Buddy Rich! 150 buckaroonies! Really still flabbergasted at the whole scenario! He's quite amazing!
Thank you for this video.
your dogs are gorgeous!
Hila biting and licking the corner of the bark box 😭😱😍😍😍
Love those pepperonis!😊👍🐕
You are Amazing 👏 ❤️
I don't have a dog but whenever and wherever I see a husky, even with strangers, I always go and pet pet them. And they are always very friendly. They never even bark me but boy they are heavy! As for someone who doesn't have a dog, I really like to interact with them. (I do take care of one but she is a street dog and she sometimes come inside)
Pretty same as well. My husky is a very passive quiet dog she howls and/or barks when prompted to or when something is wrong like someone approaching her domain that she's unfamiliar with or tied up along a tree or just wanting to come inside. Super nice after being met but still protective of her humans
Aww cute husky 🥰
My husky is 6 months, He love to watch your videos with me ❤🥰😎
My husky howls & sings & my malamute howls to police sirens. Best dogs EVER!!!
My boy is half Siberian Husky and half Germany Sheppard. He hasn't howled yet but talks. He is so funny and stubborn. I'm stubborn to so it works.
Both my huskies bark and howl mixed with trying to talk, but it’s rare to do either unless excited, like right before a walk. Only the youngest will bark at strangers. Both are pure Siberian Huskies (not mixed breed). The eldest has always been super friendly with other dogs and people to the point it’s annoying to hold him back
I'm the one with the quiet husky. I live out in the country but my neighbors are still close enough to hear a dog if it barks or howls. They joke that they can't believe that there's a husky living nearby because they never hear a peep out of him. The only way I can get Mika to howl is if I do something to deliberately trigger it and even then his howl is at a lower pitch than most Huskies. He's very, very serious.
I have 8 husky pups and 2 adults and they Howl when the icecream man comes by (lead by Dad who we got when he was 2 months old. They occasionally bark at our cat sometimes, as well as each other. So it is like a Hollywood horror film soundtrack when they howl together at the ice cream man. The neighbours are terrified..lol
I love these two ✌. They are about the same age as my two. My girl is a good guard dog but mellow. The boy guards her. They howl and talk.
Love your videos so much I have a 9 month old husky called Winter and your videos help me all the time! 🙏🥰I just Wish the Bark Box shipped to Ireland, I'm dying to find a monthly subscription box that ships internationally, if you know one please tell me ❤️
I absolutely LOVE your videos even though I don’t own a husky and never will. I always wanted one but am now disabled and can’t physically handle their needs. I have a pittie and chow/lab mix.
Thanks Kelly! You’re awesome!
Can confirm all that's said here... with one little exception. We have two Huskies (well actually there is a third one but she is only 9 days young) and our girl is neither barking nor howling. But our boy is barking AND howling. Maybe because he is very anxious about everything he doesn't know and therefore barks at all those things. But overall there are quiet and awesome. The tons of energy they got decline with every year. The first two years were with all our Huskies the most demanding. But after that the time for naps increases drastically. But even than I would highly recommend to let them run freely on your property or at a dog park. When they only walk beside you on a leash they get bored to death. If that is the only thing you can offer them you have to exhaust them with mind games. They love to learn new stuff e.g. seeking toys, new tricks etc. But attention is in all cases the most important thing for them.
Husk-erona pizzas 😂 best way to say Huskies ever! My little fuz ball had a protective side, you really didn't want to harm anyone he cared for. I saw him go at a dog BIG time that had tried to literally bite my face off and he went full wolf on him. HOWEVER, you are right generally they are teddy bears. Mine actually had traces of wolf in him. He was glorious. I miss him badly. Thanks for sharing virtually yours with me. They are adorable. Definitely my fav breed.
I love the fact that mine rarely barks. Unless you’re messing with me. She goes into long howling bouts when police, ambulance’s and fire truck’s roll by.
I can"t type in live chat but im subbed
You ain't kidding about the clean fur. Our boy Kavik can get as dirty as can be then after a few hours his fur is clean as can be! People at our doh park ask where we get him groomed all the time lol
My husky is aggressive! Has bit my mother twice, barks A Lot & is very protective of his food.
Yes sir I just got my husky she so pretty and wild and easy to train sometimes she is stubborn
Can’t dispute anything said. My boy is 2.5 years and my girl just turned 2 today. He only howls at sirens, which prompts her to howl. Or he howls when we leave them home alone. Which also prompts her to howl. She howls if we howl at her… it’s so funny! He talks, but she doesn’t. They both bark at strangers that approach the house until we are aware and then they calm down.m, but for some reason they are not mean to the mail couriers like other dogs are. They will destroy if their energy level is not discharged. Though they do lay around most of the day. As for the washing, I bathe them a handful of times a year. They have the softest fur.
I have one howler and one talker... she sounds like Chewbacca lol I love my huskaroni pizzas!
I actually have a blink mini and it’s the best camera for the price the best camera for the best dog breed ever!!!!!🎉
I deciding whether or not to get a Husky...I have a special needs daughter who's about to be 4 years old. We both love being outside and having fun as much as possible. I work 30 hours a week and am away anywhere from 5-8 hours 4 days a week. I want a dog that gets us out of the house and is a good companion and guardian for my daughter. I have raised 2 pittys before having my daughter and although I love the breed, I worry about their strength and propensity to be bulldozers...so I thought a Husky would be slightly more gentle. Both breeds (Husky and Pit) have similar character but in my research, Huskies top the charts for good dogs for kids...what do you think?
I should add that the number one killer of Huskys is women.
@@thetrumpnewsnetwork7503 wtf does that mean
@@cas..4724 It means that women like Husky puppies but when they hit adolescence and start tearing up their shoes and being the the destructive little monsters they tend to be for a year or 2 they get rid of them. The dog pounds are full of Huskys for that reason.
@@thetrumpnewsnetwork7503 who’s to say men don’t do the same? Get one to look cool and they start tearing stuff up stop finding ways to be a misogynist
@@cas..4724 When you see the same pattern over and over again even a blind man can see. Men aren't as attracted to Huskys as women are. Men don't look for pretty dogs women do. In larger dog categories they are more likely to choose a hunting or fighting type of dog unless they are a bit limp at the wrist and then they'll pick a tiny dog. You have much to learn about human psychology . Just sayin.
I got a husky puppy last week and this is my first dog so your videos are very very helpful! Whenever I have a question I go straight to your channel to see if you have already posted a video about it! Not sure if you have answered this before but my husky puppy loves laying right under AC which blows directly at him, I was wondering if that’s okay or should I try to keep him away from a direct wind since he’s still a baby?
Hahahaa u fool…. U must like suffering. 😅 I mean I have a husky but I’m an experienced working dog handler. U… well you’re just gonna have to buckle in and don’t surrender your dog. Those ppl have a assigned seat in hell.
I have one husky named sheeba She's very active and very hyper selectively but thanks to the cool fact
My husky howls and barks. He also talks and wins every argument because he makes me laugh.
Gr8 vid as usual but I have to disagree with the guard dog myth. My husky is a big time guard dog. He is very loving with me and the fam and my friends but with strangers or people he " feels" are not cool he goes off . He did bite and tore up a dude( big time) that tried to get into my shop in the middle of the night while I was in there working. VERY protective. And the guy that got bit, well he totally deserved it even the police said so.. Love your vids and I ordered my Bark Box today 👍🤠
I have a husky pup turning 1 on holloween. We have been blessed finding her. She's a rescue that someone abandoned with her sister. We did a 6month bark box Super Chewer. She has many favorites. So a question regarding caoomands. My wife and I train her with both vocal and hand commands. Except calling her inside, I whistle and call her name. My wife calls her name only. Gamora does not listen to either. Is it because we use different calls? She looks at me, when I whistle and just continues on chasing lizards. Treats aren't even working. Is she just " husky" stubbornness? Do I get more aggressive with her when I call, and will not respond? I appreciate your time and work on this channel. It has helped me since we got her. Thank you
My family has a husky her name is Akira. She’s very sweet and she loves to give kisses. We just recently lost our St. Bernard and Akira was right there to give kisses as we cried for the loss. We do have other dogs she likes to play with our Scottie because she has as much energy as she does.❤
I’m sorry for the loss of your dog.❤ It’s always about the love, so thank you Akira, for all the love you shared with your family.🥰🥰💕
Can you make a video on what is really best for there diet?
May I ask where in FL you are? Or County? Cheers!
Hi🥰
You forgot to mention that huskies are consummate escape artists...LOL
My Luna mostly “talks” but I did once see her bark at a cat.
Huskies are my favorites dog breed but i don't see myself ever getting one because i know i am a very unmotivated person and sometimes have trouble of just taking care of my turtle. But if i ever fix that problem and become a more motivated person at least to the point where i almost regularly get my stuff done then a husky would be the first think i think about
I have a question Lets say I get off work or school and walk them around 4-5 for an hour or 2 is that enough exercise or nah?
Do you do anything else to keeps bugs away from them ?
Hi sixty formula . I have a husky and he’s so quiet . When I say speak he barks to me. He’s the best .only howls when I go out .
Where do you find bark
Not always the case about howling. But some can really become known to the local police as Mine did. The police had to cmne to the hospital I was in I inquire about my dog. Who apparently was howling non stop for 16 hours. I fixed that issue by getting him a dog.
Should go without saying but people make this mistake: If you don't want your husky to howl, don't teach them to howl as part of playtime. Some well-meaning folks encourage howling because they think it's cute (or lots of "speak" command for that matter), but don't realize the husky may then howl on its own. I had a dog sitter that was doing this behind my back with my otherwise quiet husky and it was a game I had to shut down for the sake of my neighbors--very short leash with that sort of thing in many apartment buildings. For a few days I wondered where the howling had come from but it was easy to figure out considering she had never howled before (and hasn't howled since).
Luna barks and doesn’t howl :( She does talk a lot! I figure the long naps are needed to grow the billion furs they shed EVERY DAY. 😂
Our Ghost Puppy "talks/yells" at us and is a total Diva. Our Arya that howls at us when she doesn't get her way or when we don't give her her treats fast enough. Then we have their baby, Lycan who howls and barks at us, Ghost and Arya when he wants something or is upset. They engage in Husky Naptime #1 from about 9 am until 11. They get up to go outside to potty then come back in for Husky Naptime #2 from 11:15 until around 3 or 4 depending on when the kids come home from school. They know when we go camping, they get steak, chicken and hot dogs and will let us know they get that stuff should we forget. Ghost does not like when the kids or us are upset. He tried to make sure we're ok by giving puppy kisses and Husky hugs. He is partial to making suree our youngest daughter is ok when she throws a tantrum. He's right there to make sure she's ok and gets ansy if he can't get to her. They have so many toys from toys from the Super Chewer box that we lost count! All 3 huskies are ridiculously spoiled and very well loved. They really are the best dogs and give the best hugs.
I have a siberian husky mix that was born on a swing in my aunts yard 🤣🤣
One of my huskies howl the other, screams at the top of her lungs.
my husky is super super quiet, typically just whines when he wants water or wants to go outside which is like once a day.
My huskoid Xena is a silent one. She CAN bark, but almost never does. (Unless you're a hostile critter.) She AWOOOs about 1/day and howls about once a month. She only really barks at the neighbor dog through the fence.
My Husky only howls when she’s mad or when I have to put her in our kennel outside for a few hours, so I guess when she’s mad.
My husky lays on the ground only and he is always is cheeky
Do they need cold or survive in 30 degrees Celsius?
My husky wolf hybrid only barks at Bears. She however Howls all the time.
I did not expect my husky to be such a couch potato 😂 like, yeah, she has a ton of energy... for short periods of time. And then she's gonna nap the rest of the time! And she naps HARD.
also, my 9 month old husky growled at me for the first time last night... she sleeps in my bed, and she was squishing me... so I pushed her to the other side of the bed and she growled/grumbled at me 😂
Same here she sleeps most of the day 😂
@@haleylquinton mine usually growls too if I try to move her when she’s comfortable
How does huskeys like to be brushed, with the shedded fur?
My dog has to be next to me 24/7 and I live with 6 other people, 1 other dog and 2 cats. My husky was given to me by someone who couldn't handle him, which is a good thing because he was a baby then, she definitely couldn't handle him now!
Mine do both,
My baby husky is very quiet almost all the time, I wish mine would talk to me 😢 love her so much though! 🫶🏼
All through my husky is not full husky she's a mixed but mostly Siberian 69% but she is very quiet only cry's when she's in the kennel... Other than that super peaceful 🙏
This is actually true
That super chewer is directed to huskies only or other breeds too? I have a Jack Russel Terrier. She's a 1 year old girl, and we already threw away like 300-350 completely destructed dog toys. She doesn't chew the toys that hard anymore but goddammit she still chews till she breaks! Plus treats would be perfect as I'm training her some simple commands, like sit down or beg, or a high five. And my second question is: Do they ship worldwide? Or only US or somewhere else? I live in Poland
Hello Again Sixty formula
Hey man, Got a question about that fencing. I got a runner. He was a rescue and we're working on training him. I was considering fencing off my property with the same fencing you have there. Do you think that would be sufficient to keep him in the yard right now?
I was worried about this as well. I wanted a 6ft fence but field fencing comes standard in 4 ft posts. The field fence is enough to keep my huskies in, and they are either scared or not willing to jump more than 4.5 feet to clear the fence. People say huskies can clear 6 feet, and I don’t doubt that, but my huskies likely would never jump that high. I’d say it depends on your dog, if you notice they’re skilled at jumping, I would consider a higher fence. With that said, I think the fence I have will work just fine for you.
@@SixtyFormula Nice. It's a conundrum with this guy. He can absolutely clear it without much effort, but he also respects barriers pretty well. I just don't know if that would apply for outdoors the same as in doors. I guess I gotta set up a pen and see if he stays in it.
our doggo didn't jump the fence. he got into the corner and climbed the fence and over he went. he also climbed the huge cherry tree to get the neighbor's cat.
Here in southern California shelters are gorgeous huskies, I got one and we try hard to keep them off the euth list, so sad,
Walk them, show them affection, and treat them well. They aren't near as hard to raise as people make them out to be.
The biggest un-true thing I here people complain about is how the dog must be freezing out side in the blizzard. lmao These dogs are built for it and they love the cold. My friend had a Siberian Husky. She would cry to go outside and that was anytime she was inside for more than 10 minutes. I asked my friend Gerry where his dog was?? He said in her dog house that was drifted over with about 5 foot of snow. We called her and her head popped out of the same drift of snow about 20 feet from her house. She loved the snow and cold. She would lay down and cover her nose with her tail and let the snow bury her. lol.
Hi!
I have two having trouble with getting the old one to get along with my cats
One more myth is that huskies can't live in extremely hot climates, they totally can with proper care and precautions.
husky here is so common here in cali that theyre 400-800 only and with paper its 1k-2k
who wouldnt wanna hug these puperoni pizzas
Huskies love to be brushed but want their booty fluff back. At least that's how mine is it's funny.
I am thinking of getting a husky but a red husky though
