  • Eli, please know that you are one of the very few sources left that people around the globe can still access who consistently and professionally illustrate reality. Truth about different cultures. Truth about travel. Your work enables those who are restricted from traveling in the manner we used to, a wonderful method of staying connected. You must keep doing what you’re doing. We all must. I cannot change the political realities anywhere. You’ve always presented both sides. That must continue. Your example of always learning and sharing is an inspiration for many others. It’s very difficult to set-aside the propaganda from east and west, study the history of how we arrived where we find ourselves, and assist those caught in the cross-fire. As a military veteran, I have no words for the common Russian and Ukrainian families who are paying the ultimate price. It’s beyond tragic. All I’m trying to do is try and understand how all the pieces perhaps fit together. I’m a student of history. Your videos help me continue to expand that knowledge. As a creator, you must do as you believe best. You matter, and are deeply appreciated by so many. Health and prosperity. Your heart is documenting a certainly unsettling era. You are journaling an extraordinary personal chapter for world history. Be well. Stay safe. Take one day at a time. Your efforts must survive these days of uncertainty. Thank you for providing a link by which those of us who appreciate your work may contribute to its continued success. 🇷🇺☺️

  • Lately I've been watching Russian KZheadrs with much interest. It confirms to me my impression that people all over the world are much the same. I am an old Cold War military retired person (retired in 1991 after the Soviet Union was dissolved), and I'm well aware of both media and government's use of propaganda to achieve their goals. Unfortunately, we live in a world run by politicians. The best we can do is try to select the best ones when we vote, but that's no guarantee we'll get the best ones if they lie to us. There's too many bad actors in the world today for me to live to see a day the world is at peace. You are young, so I hope for you and all the young people out there, that you see a day when there is truly peace in the world. Just so you know, stores may not be closing here in the USA, but our prices are also going up 10 to 50 percent depending on the product. Events in the world effect prices worldwide, due to supply and demand and impacts on the supply chain. Our leaders tell us it's the price we must pay to influence events on the world stage. That may work for the politicians and the rich, but the less fortunate always suffer with price inflation and devalued currency. May God help us all.

I'm not suggesting the US going into certain countries and especially the aftermath of their action was either well thought out and there were actions perpetrated by US military personnel that was illegal, some of which have been brought to justice, but there were legitimate reasons (whether you personally and with them or not). The reasons given by Putin as to the "special military exercises" aka invasion in Ukraine makes no sense. To free Ukraine from neo Nazis that have overthrown their government? It's just not true. The prices for daily living have raised, for some products even doubled. I hate politics, and I highly dislike what happens now between Russia and Ukraine - this "war" affects all of us, the ordinary people, but brings high profits to the leads of this world. I love that you made your point on your decissions and also on the way you see this situation. In the end the love for your own country is the respect you have for your loved ones, for the people and the land the ancestors fought for. Keep on with the good work, you are amazing!

Its my strong impression Eli does not fully understand the scale of what's really going on right now. In the best case she's just apolitical (like many Germans in the 3. Reich) or she supports the way Mr. Putin sees the future of Russia.

    • @@henryluebberstedt7819 I admit she sometimes seems out of touch to the point of being complacent. On the other hand, she very maturely dropped the hint that everything she and others say from Russia right now is being very closely examined, so she might be more aware of things than she's letting on, only powerless to change any of it, just as many Germans were in the 1930s. Unless you have your own gang of killers then there are some environments where the average person is simply "priced out" of having influence. Ask the people in jail now who went to the peace protests. I don't know what the right answer in these situations is.

    • @@harmless6813 I get it, but what we're talking about here is "moral arrogance", demanding others simply die or suffer in a futile gesture which we probably would not do ourselves with our comforts, safety, and laws. The time to avoid these situations is BEFORE they ripen. Like stopping WWI, not treating Germany so harshly after WWI, and helping all the Soviet States (including Russia) to develop once their dictatorship collapsed. Then you don't end up with all-powerful states in which people need to die resisting. But there are politicians and industries that want conflict, so long-term humanitarian planning rarely occurs worldwide. I'm just saying that the time to resist was BEFORE there was a dictatorial lock on power. I think telling people to fall on their own swords at this point is unrealistic, and doesn't truly help address the problem of dictatorial power which is now, unfortunately, already established.

  • I'm glad you made this video Eli. I don't know how I have missed seeing this for a year now! I wish our nations could get along. Your culture and people have fascinated me since the 90's when I had a friend go on a missionary trip over there. The photos and stories he told of the beauty and people was just truly amazing. We, as Americans, have been brain washed that the Russians are all evil and mean people. I see that it couldn't be further from the truth. As a now retired combat Infantryman, we were taught the same thing about Iraqi's and other middle eastern people. Having spent over 2 years of combat there, I saw some of the most generous people that had almost nothing but would give everything to help another human being. Again, thank you for making this Eli and keep up the great work! I enjoy watching your awesome content and adventures!

Taken under complete siege by Russian troops, it heroically continues to resist with no light, no heat, no water, no food, no medicine. During this time, 72 children were born here. These hateful leftist people and their woke cultists are indoctrinated by their democrat government and their corporate media propaganda machine. They have been HATING on Russia since their criminal queen Hillary lost to Trump. Trump in turn was falsely accused of being a puppet of Putin and colluding with Russia. Even though Hillary made millions selling Putin American uranium. All false accusations for political gain and voter manipulation of the ignorant leftist mobs. They all ignore, for example, that the coup d'etat and Maidan massacre in Kyiv in 2014 was launched by Obama and his imbecile Ukraine grifting clown Biden. All in an effort to install NATO in Ukraine. The grifters in D.C. and the military industrial complex now want to prolong the war because there's much money to be made off the backs of the poor people of Ukraine who on average make $300 U.S. per month, while a single Javelin missile costs $175,000+ U.S. Do the math...

All I know is that Iranians overthrew a USA supported corrupted government which gave in to US interest even in reports from West media, this uprising is legitimate and brave. Yes, Iran took actions against US hostility from time to time, but most countries would do that for the same reason. USA is never a Saint, has no right to destroy a nation in such a way while preaches bogus freedom and democracy. • Hi Eli, I was up to the challenge, of listing where the Brands of the Retail Outlets came from, at the shopping centre you walked past in this post. So here we go: Sony - Japanese, Huawei - Chinese, Miuz Diamonds - Russian, Samsung - South Korean, Rendez-vous - French, Mango - Spanish, Adidas - German, Tommy Hilfiger - American, Sephora - French, Mohito - Polish, House - Polish, Pull&Bear - Spanish, Bershka - Spanish, You Wanna - Russian, Zara - Spanish, Stradivarius - Spanish, H&M - Swedish, Puma - German, Vans - American, Nike - American, Reebok - American/British, Affliction - American, Sportsmaster - Russian. I was surprised by a few. I hope this can help you and others about your choices. And the prices for groceries in Australia are going up too.

It's just that, in EU, we actually see all the war crimes Putin is doing in HD with zero censorship. He bombed ukranian children hospitals, soldiers are shooting civilians with their hands up and then dragged in a ditch right in from of their families (drone footage), they are constantly shelling civilian buildings. It's insane how much videos we seen of russian tanks shooting at civilian cars with families in them. And for what? to "denazify" a country lead by a jewish president? It makes no sense. Your country removed all independent media and is showing only state tv media propaganda. You have no away of seeing the atrocities we are seeing.
