Im legit almost in tears watching this. We have come so far from the days of getting battered at all of our rivals grounds, getting bullied by northern teams away from home and playing pass pass pass football with no end product. Now we are a direct, athletic, mentally strong team! 5 years ago it was so painful watching Arsenal now we dominate teams from start to finish. We are finally back.
I think that is a mis-characterisation. Every team gets bullied once in a while especially away from home. We simply didn't have a forward like G.Jesus that could get us up the pitch by running behind or could win duels technically or physically. However we always played easy on the eye and pretty football but not enough in the opponent's half reducing the chances of scoring.

@@NT-tt5lj nah it’s not mate. It was well known back then you could kick arsenal players about and the players wouldn’t fight back or would wilt mentally. I’m talking post invincibles era. We struggled at Bolton for years. Then it was Stamford Bridge. Stoke. The list goes on. We would always get bullied. Also the “easy on the eye football” was gone by wengers last two years and wasn’t present during Emery reign. We were bad to watch under wenger in the last two years and awful to watch under Emery.

The first game under Arteta was away at Bournemouth ...we played very sleek football in that game despite not getting a win.The weak mentality narrative is just another clever canard like numerous others concocted by out rivals to put us down. We have rarely lost a game when we were the big favourites to win in the last 2 decades of me supporting this club.... No other large club have such a track record of consistency than us.
That midfield trio of Partey, Xhaka and Ødegaard is so underrated man. The understanding they got, and the balance between them is so, so good!
No way underrated. They fairly rated bro. Save for Leeds, Arsenal have bossed the midfield in style against most of their opponents even against ManU a match they lost.

No not really. Arteta just needed the time to build his squad. I believed him from day one. He improved the team regardless of the consecutive 8th place finishes. People just don't know how to analyze football in detail.

I've been a football fan for almost 30 years now and I don't think I've ever seen a team where so clearly all 11 players are key players. Everyone is involved in the success of this team and it's perhaps the most beautiful thing I've seen in this sport. I'm so proud of this team. COYG lets make dreams happen this season!!

I must add less wayward crosses into the box intended for no one. We'd used to only sign strikers for their ability to nod a cross. I love Wenger but those days seeing chamack(I know I mispelled that) lead our attack, were aweful man.

The former guy we loaned from Madrid just like Ordegaard was returned to Madrid because he was not good enough and then we got Ordegaard who by all standards is better than that guy, but the same player now is playing for Madrid in the midfield now but statistically Ordegaard is way better than him technically he is far more superior, assist and goal wise Ordegaard nudge it and yet EPL is still by miles this season more competitive than La Liga and Arsenal are 5points clear of one of the best teams in Europe for 5 seasons now while Madrid is behind Barca who clearly isn't even good enough and at some point last month it felt like Xavi was going to lose his job and you are here saying he his not Madrid standard. Please remind me of the last player's name we signed from Madrid before Ordegaard.

It’s like watching a well oiled machine. We look like a unit when attacking and defending. You can see that every player has a role in the team now. The only weakness that i see is maybe in the finishing department, if we can improve on that we will be unstoppable this season.💪💪💪

With the attacking midfielders having so much ability to score, it confuses and splits the defense and the pressure shifts from the striker. Arsenal 💪

You must give attention on Martinelli's inside run. He's already mastering it and give us another dimension on left hand side. He and Xhaka understand each other and Zinny and Jesus makes the dynamic even better. This LHS has been pivotal to Arteta tactic's and one of reasons we are on top of the league. If in the rest of the season we can overperforming our xG, we will win the league.

Classic style Arsenal football. I had no idea Arteta would bring this kind of attacking style with him when he joined Arsenal. I am having a classic Arsenal vibe. Certainly it’s not tiki taka. Tiki taka doesn’t look like this. It’s a mix of wenger, pep and Arteta in a blender. One thing I clearly noticed it’s all about passing style quick football. If you can’t pass you won’t fit into Arteta’s system. Players need to be on their toes always and running because ball can come to them any time. Congrats to Mikel 🎉
