The tracks are very shiny almost like a metalled skinned P51D,its over done with the weathering,try doing doing a highlight ,to tone it back up,and the panzer was green nd black underneath the sand colour,good effort though

nicely done, worth knowing when the chally 2 was painted in desert colours, the green olive drab was never striped and this could be seen when the desert paint was chipped, the desert paint was removed when the chally's went back to unit with a high power jet wash.
That’s true! It’s an idea for a build… build it in the green then paint it dessert but lighter in other places so it shows through
Awesome and straightforward; would you like to share where you bought the sequins and which type. I didn’t get if they are transparent or not; even the size is unclear. Found some enormous PVC tiles on Amazon… thank you for taking care

I like it. Simple technics without making plenty crazy things like twenty modulations etc. What aerograph do you use and if it is expensive what model do you recommend for the semibegginer ?😀
Hi, thanks! I use Iwata HP-CH HI-Line. Previously used JAS 1117. It is 10 times cheaper and also good.

Just now I saw your comment, sorry. Thanks for rating my work! I usually apply two thin coats of high gloss varnish. When I wipe off the wash, I use dry cotton swabs.

Thanks! Solvent 15 drops, paint 10 drops. Airbrush nozzle 0.3 mm. Pressure about 1.2-1.5 atmospheres

Thanks! I dilute it with Tamiya's branded thinner 81040, in a 1: 1 ratio.

How did you make the highlights? did you just mix white with sand yellow?

The real thing has thick layers of green and black matt paint under the sand colour not a rust colour,when it chips away you would see one of of the 2 aforementioned colours as the desert colour was done quickly,tools and spare fuel would be off it when sprayed,the antennas are wrong and come in 3 pieces of varying diameter.they go to 3m whips for longer range comms,but never mind you wouldn't know I guess. Just a little more research would be good. Keep going

Salut all . This model for me it to days is on his way from the store to my house. I looking for photos turret Challenger 2 view Anti slip. I have VMS products Standart type and Mig Jimenez paste sand, black and brown. Did the Challenger 2 MBT Anti slip on the turret or no ? Even fine maybe just the details view ? I found +/- 2 photos, where is a thin thin layer? And I also saw defined space a tamiya model turret on a britmodeller.com. A thin layer line defined between Tamiya tape all over the turret. Sryy i me speak english minimal. I very very thank for help and info. Edward.

А как вы сняли и потом одели обратно катки и гусянки для покраски? Там же бортовые экраны мешают их вытащить ?
Гусянки же резиновые. Перевернул танк вверх дном и протянул пинцетом под всеми катками. Очень удобно и просто. А катки и так влезли с экранами.

Я их купил в магазине для хобби Леонардо в отделе где продается все для бисера.
