As a Welsh person, I would like to start a petition to add the Welsh dragon to the Union Flag. You cannot tell me that wouldn't look a million times better
done.
Yup, and lets remove NI while we're at it
honestly i think all flags could benefit from having a dragon slapped on it
yes, Puff the magic dragon would look great on it
That wouldn't look a million times better
The fact that half of these were in my textbooks show that I was being fed useless knowledge 50% of the time
actually almost every fact told in the video is not useless at all. Without context they are useless and that is how they are portraied in the video but when you compare these individual facts with other related facts you can make conclusions. That is how science and school works mate
I knew my slovenian brothers would pull through and get us up there for the most tractors per capita

It's strange that such a war torn country had the color of nature and happiness as their flag
U mean this 🇵🇰 greeny
Boom boom
@@RakeshKR10 no this greeny is not even important the greeny in my flag matter😂
This 8 minute video is more useful than most of the content that I usually see promoted on this platform.
I was surprised by the fact that there are more than 20 000 castles here in germany. But them i realised that i'm living basically next to a castle myself and that this castle is pretty small and then i thought that probably most of those castles are so small and then it all made sense again.
This is the longest video in your channel with a lot of info, good work man 👍
Thank you bro!! I appreciate the support a lot. There is actually another, longer video where I compared the USA to China!

This is amazing. Keep up the work!
Imagine using the Zimbabwe 100 trillion dollar bill for a single bottle of water. Now imagine the pain of the cashier having to find your change.
Funny enough, I don't even think you could buy a bottle of water for 100 trillion Zimbabwe dollars. The hyper-inflation was absolutely insane.
We only used those currencies for a few months... and you could buy a lot of things with... the trillion dollar notes only shows the hegemony the usa had in the IMF... as soon as Mugabe made his speeches against usa that's when you saw these trillion dollars... it's not like they were being printed in zim...
And what you can buy with 100 trillion US Dollars?
Indeed! But what if a bottle of water is expensive in zimbabwe??
like 100 billion zimbabwe dollars?
7:31 Actually there is a statue of Lenin
Your content ideas very informative, entertaining and knowledgeable. GOD BLESS
The reason Nauru is like that is because of one word, phosphate. Ninety percent of the island is covered with phosphate deposits (because of all the seabirds that stopped there before continuing their crossings) that were mined to the point it's non-arable. This phosphate actually made Nauru the richest country in the 80s, but the industry collapsed in 2002, quickly making them one of the poorest and having to rely on Australia who they made an agreement with to get aid in return for housing Australia's asylum seekers in a detention facility. And because Nauru has an airport that they were forced to build by the Japanese, they can easily get canned goods in. That aside, love how Monaco is so small that a freakin' MARINA makes up a part of the country shape
Just like oil curse this is called phosphate curse
Thank you for the essay, kimmy 🇰🇵 🫡 🚀
@@global.things Yea and people are obese because they don’t know how to grow fresh vegetables on the island so they only eat Mac Donald’s all day
Yeah I noticed the marina on the map too, really cool.
Its sad now because now Nauru is the fattest nation because of phosphate mining if they only mined a little bit of phosphate they could be rich and not obese
Alltought I know many of these, there was still many very cool facts that I didn't knew. Very good video!

You forgot something, France actually has a territory in Antarctica too. The French Southern And Antarctic Lands is a French territory and to the north of the Heard and McDonald Islands, owned by Australia.
And thanks to all those territories france is the country with the most time zones
I don't think they meant to include absolutely every territory and it's questionable whether countries who currently claim Antarctica really own it.
@@guaranteednoob5498 you didn't read the comment right, France owns islands north of Antarctica, not the actual portion of antarctica
@@ReyGBIsoly I was gonna say this. France is located across the world in a total of 14 time zones iirc.

And because France has Wallis & Futuna, it also means that ironically the nation that became a republic by overthrowing the monarchy...has monarchs. Yeah part of the agreement of becoming a part of France was they get to keep their kings. Wallis & Futuna has three kings, the King of Alo (eastern Futuna), King of Uvea (Wallis), and King of Sigave (western Futuna)
The French president is also one of the two Andorran princes

So regarding Rhode Island, the first to settle Rhode Island was William Blaxton, who was ALSO the first to settle Boston. He decided to join the Ferdinando Gorges Expedition in 1623. Ferdinando Gorges is the man heavily involved in British colonization of New England, including having a land grant for Maine, but never actually set foot in the Americas. Back to William. The expedition of 1623 was considered a failure and while most of his fellow settlers returned home, he decided to live on the Shawmut Peninsula (now old Boston) alone in 1625. So why did he move? Well this was because he didn't like leaders of the Boston church, so he decided to move south to what is now Cumberland, Rhode Island. The first to settle Rhode Island in 1635, one year before Roger Williams founded the Providence Plantations.
